- Increase On Every Side (Psalm 71:21) || Impact 2026 || HCC Lagos-Nigeria || Apostle Selman
I was I was thinking to myself, 30 years old, anything deserves to be respected. 30 years old trouble deserves to be respected. 30 years old, blessing deserves to be respected. anything that has gotten to 30 years. When Jesus saw a man and he was just 8 years above the trouble here, he said, “No, I have to do something about this situation.” This is 30 years of God’s faithfulness.
And I’ve not been long in ministry, but there’s something that I’ve learned. It takes vision to start. It takes discipline to continue. But it takes mercy to finish. Let me say that again. It takes vision to start. It takes discipline to continue. But when everything is said and done, if you do finish is because God showed you mercy.
There are four seasons in every destiny, particularly in every ministry. No matter how great the ministry is, there will always be at least four seasons:
- The first season is called the season of visibility and acceptance.
This is when God is introducing you to your generation. This is where people need to test the quality of the spiritual substance you are made of. They have a right to doubt you. They have a right to not take you seriously. That’s when you lay the foundation that makes your calling and your election show. The season of visibility and acceptance.
And in my estimation, it’s an average of 10 to 15 years of any man’s life. The first 10 years from the time you commence ministry represents the season of visibility and acceptance. People will study you. They will listen to your sermons. They will nod their head sometimes left and right and say, “Well, we are still watching. Let’s see.”
But within that time, 10 years is more than enough to convince your generation that you are serious. If you cannot convince the people God sent you to within 10 years, if you cannot prove that the hand of God is upon your life, you are most likely not serious. Hallelujah.
- Number two, the second season is called the season of structural establishment.
This is not a minister’s conference, but I just thought to say this, the Lord quickened it in my heart. Perhaps it will help someone.
Now the deception with the first season is that you don’t need a platform. You just need a voice. You can be an itinerant minister for 10 years, 15 years. People don’t care whether there’s a platform. All they need is the grace of God upon your life. But if you remain at that level, you will regret it at the levels that are coming in the future.
The first level is very deceptive because people will honor you and you are not thinking of anything transgenerational. You are just thinking of being received and being accepted. But you must know when seasons change and then you step into the second season. It’s called the season of structural establishment.
At that point, you’re not trying to prove a point again. Those who know God has called, you already know. Those who live in denial will remain so regardless what you do. Now, at that point, by the mercies of God, you have made your calling and your election show. That’s when you now begin to build structures and systems, leadership, and administration.
Now, this is very important because most times when you start out as a man of God, the focus is not leadership, it’s not organization. The focus is just grace, grace and the quality of your spiritual content. But sooner or later you’ll find out that is possible to steal in a house where God is moving and that one is not anointing again. That one is structure and systems. It is possible for controversy to happen among families even where God is moving. You see that now that one is not just anointing. That one needs leadership and structure.
The early church had that problem. When the Holy Ghost moved in Acts chapter 2, it wasn’t about structure. It was about a harvest. They were happy. But by the time we get to Acts chapter 6, there was already a problem. Welfare had problem. There were so many things. The women were complaining that look, it looks like there’s tribalism going on here. And they started doing all kinds of things.
And the disciples said, “Ah, we know he taught us well. We need to start putting structures.” Hallelujah. The structure is what will guarantee the continuity of that vision.
- Number three, the third level in ministry is called the level of legacy and consolidation.
Again, maybe that would be I would argue that that is where this ministry is right now. If we are walking by the 10 10-year circle, then we can say that this ministry has entered her season of legacy and consolidation.
At this point you begin to build institutions, build programs that preserve your convictions. The focus is the generation to come, not your personal success. Again, by the time you get to this third level, almost everything to be done in terms of proving you are successful has been done. You don’t live for yourself again.
In fact, generally in my world, the moment you get to age 30, you have exhausted the time of thinking about yourself alone. Anybody thinking about himself alone by age 30 is not wise. You finish living alone by age 30, you must begin to look back and prepare for the generations coming. Legacy and consolidation.
I was very touched when I heard pastor talking about the programs. The programs, the mentorship programs, this is where you write books. This is where you set up schools. This is where you design programs. These programs will immortalize your impact even when you are not there. Hallelujah.
- And then the last stage is the stage of succession and rest.
Rest does not mean death. It just means you are done with your assignment. There are not many people who get to this level. Age can take them to this level, but they don’t have vision enough to get to level four. Hallelujah. Succession and rest.
One person who did this and got it exceptionally well, exceptionally well was Reinhard Bonke. Everybody knew he had finished his assignment. He was alive but there was nothing else to do. He had done it well.
The proof that you are successful is not your personal exploits is what continues after you are done. Hallelujah. I just felt it strong in my heart. Like I said, I apologize. This is not a pastor’s conference, but perhaps God quickened it in my heart to just help someone so you can know at what level you are in ministry.
- Visibility and acceptance, the first level,
- Structural establishment, the second level.
- Legacy and consolidation, the third level.
- Succession and rest, the fourth level. The Lord will grant us grace.
Doesn’t matter where what level you are at, as a man of God, you must begin to give your best.
And I really really thank God for pastor and the privilege of relationship that I share with him. I know his heart for the future of this ministry. I just want to give what I will want to call an anniversary charge. I think I’ve done most of my assignment.
These are my final words if I would say and uh within the time that I have just to encourage our hearts then to identify and celebrate with this great vision and the Lord will do us good in Jesus name.
In Proverbs chapter 4 and verse 18 there is a sermon that I only preach when ministries get to at least 30 years and I hope I’ll be able to touch a bit of it.
I’ve had the honor of preaching for at least three ministries that I’ve gotten to at least 30 years and this being the third and so it’s a joy to be able to bring that sermon is not for anybody starting because when you are starting there are some teachings you cannot understand. Sometimes life and pain and experience is what qualifies you to understand certain things. There’s a level of innocence that if you have you will not understand certain words. Hallelujah. Praise God.
Proverbs 4:18 says, “But the path of the just is as a shining light or the shining light that shines more and more.”
Someone say, “More and more.” Like you’re prophesying over your destiny. Say more and more. More and more unto the perfect day.
In Joshua chapter 13 and verse one. And I believe this is a prophetic word to this church family. It says, “Now Joshua was old and stricken in years, and the Lord said unto him, thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed. Inasmuch as you have done well, there is still much land to be possessed.”
Philippians chapter 3:12-15. Paul was speaking to the church in Philippi and Paul remember the person speaking now Paul was not an ordinary apostle in fact even before he met with Jesus Christ he was still worthy of respect because he was a Pharisee, Pharisees were very intelligent people were brilliant people they understood the law they understood the dictates of religion and Paul having encountered Jesus he entered another level of exploit with his life. And at the zenith of his apostolic ministry where you would think he’s done all, he’s seen all, here are the submissions that he had to put forth.
He said, not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect. It says, but I follow after that I may apprehend that for which I am apprehended of Jesus Christ. He says, brethren, I like this. I count not myself to have apprehended, but this one thing I do, forgetting the things that are behind and reaching forth for the things that are before me.
He said I press. Not I negotiate. Not I discuss. He said, “I press towards the mark of the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” It says, “Let us therefore as many as are mature, be thus minded, and if anything be otherwise, the Lord shall reveal it unto you.” The Lord bless the reading of his word in Jesus name.
Anniversary Charge
- The first thing I want to put forth as an anniversary charge is the danger of overdwelling on the past.
There is danger when you overdwell on the past. Whether it is past victories or past failure, the past can be dangerous when you overdwell there. He says this one thing I do forgetting the things that are behind. He didn’t say forgetting evil things or forgetting bad things or forgetting wicked things.
Sometimes the reason why you stop succeeding is because of your last success. Success can do you as much harm as failure, depending on how you manage it. Hallelujah.
Victory for instance, your victories past can create complacency. Your victories past can create carelessness. It can tilt you towards the corridors of compromise. Something you got right yesterday may be the reason you fail today. Is the reason why the more you are succeeding, the more your chances of failure is increasing. Hallelujah. Praise the name of the Lord. This is very powerful. The higher you rise, the more your chance of falling. Hallelujah.
Our father made a statement here when he came up. I don’t know how many of you I think he said something about being slippery and being sweet. That’s the character of success. Because I mean if the gift is working, why pray again? If I’ve read the Bible back and back, why study again? I can close my Bible and preach at many conferences back to back. It’s only me and God that will know I’m not studying again. When you off a moving fan, it will still be rotating before it finally dies. It will not just die because you switch on the light.
So past success can create complacency. It can tilt you towards the corridors of compromise where the things you did to get there, you now neglect them and go scot-free for a while. And then failure can bring discouragement too.
You can so fail and so fail that when God says try again you say I already know what it will be like master we have toiled all night they said but I like their word they said, nevertheless at thy word.
It is dangerous to overdwell on the past personally as a principle I have programmed myself to not over celebrate success once God does anything great in my life when we’re done with a conference I pat myself at the back sufficient enough to motivate me roll on the ground and say thank you Jesus and that’s the end of it the story is over how was it fine what’s the next on ground this is the character of champions.
Some of us reminisce on yesterday’s success to a point where we cannot see a tomorrow again we tell stories of yesterday let me tell you how this award came uh 10 years ago my boss said you are not dead you are still alive why is there no other award Hallelujah.
He said Jesus Christ the same yesterday. Imagine if he stopped there. He said dangerous to serve God who was only the same yesterday. He’s the same today and is the same forever.
Someone say I press. I press. Say it again. I press. I press.
Overdwelling on past success or past successes or past failures either ways can stop you from going forward. I was very touched when I heard pastor again talking about the vision for this. I said pastor is preaching my message. You see that now for most people haven’t come here. You would say you know what we found rest. Just build one tent for Elijah. Build one for Moses and let’s sleep. Let’s just lie down here. There’s no need doing.
Whereas there was a day of Pentecost coming. Whereas there Samaria, Judea, the uttermost part. But as soon as they saw the glory and saw Moses and Elijah, they said that’s it. We know that this is the end of this journey. Let’s build a tent. One for Moses to lie down here. One. Can you imagine how narrow-minded people can be?
I pray for you. Whether it’s success or failure, anything holding you from going forward from your yesterday, I cut it away to allow you go forward. Shout a believing amen. Overdwelling on past successes or failure can destroy destiny. It can hinder advancement and progress in life and destiny.
I said negative past create fear. It can create discouragement. It also deflates your passion to press. Hallelujah.
And a positive past can create complacency. It can bring pride. It can bring overconfidence and even bring in discipline.
- The second thing I want to just put forth as an anniversary charge, stay connected to the vine.
I said that yesterday night. Let me repeat it again. And our father in the Lord made that statement when he was bringing his goodwill.
John chapter 15:1-5. It’s a prof, it’s a very profound scripture. John 15, he said, “Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself except it abide in the vine, no more can ye except ye abide in me.” Verse 5, it says, “I am the vine and ye are the branches. He that abideth in me and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit.”
And if you want to understand the context of this scripture, the Bible says, “Even in old age they shall be fat and flourishing. Bringeth for much food, for without me ye can do nothing.” You must stay connected.
You know sometimes there are two ways Satan destroys great men. One of it is to use evil. The other way is to use vision. Satan can still use vision to destroy a man. You can get so distracted that you forget that vision is not equal to Jesus. No. No. Being visionary and being godly are two related but different things. When he finds out he cannot distract you through sin and the flesh, he will occupy you with vision. The idea is to take you away from God’s presence.
Administration can distract a man to your doom. leadership can distract a man to your doom. You can that I hope you know that was the whole goal. It was Satan that engineered the trouble, the crisis in Acts chapter 6. It looked like an economic welfare problem, but it was a distraction problem because the church was about to step into the new phase. But the apostles detected it. They said, “We cannot leave what we are doing now to come and be discussing the matter of tables.” That was not an issue of sin. It was not an issue of unrighteousness. It was vision. When Satan cannot get you to walk in sin or walk whatever, he will occupy you with vision.
And because it is God that gave you the vision, you will think the vision is the same as his presence. So you will be busy doing ministry, not knowing where you left him a long time ago. This is a word for someone. I rather fail in my vision and be rich with my relationship with God. I still consider myself a success.
And sometimes it’s human beings that put this kind of pressure on you. There’s a lot of expectation. What should we do next? And you know that there are times you need to shut down. Particularly as men of God, there’s a demand on your grace. You see, vision is working. No time to pray, no time to fast, no time to stay with the word of God, no time to dwell in his presence. But you are all around preaching and doing many great things.
And let me tell you the truth, the day you die, they say, “We knew it.” Someone say, “I saw it in a vision.” That this man was not going to last.
It’s better to disappoint men and maintain your relationship with God. Praise God. Stay connected to the vine. Let nothing take you away from his presence. Not victories, not success. regardless whatever stay. You’ll never fail when you’re in his presence. Someone who understands it say Amen.
Having said that, my next charge is keep the vision alive. So I’m not against vision. Is only that we need to value his presence above and beyond vision. Keep the vision alive. Vision is powerful. Keep pressing. There’s still more lands to be conquered.
For as long as vision remains alive, the mission will also remain alive. The way to kill the mission is to kill the vision. Keep the vision alive.
After 30 years of grace exploits, you would be wondering what is there else to do? And you hear the programs that are line up, the balcony to be created, so many things, the expansion programs.
I like minds that never settle. I like minds that never settle. You have the opportunity of seeing our father in the Lord. You will be surprised the things he’s discussing. You almost be saying, “Sir, I thought by now we should be doesn’t have time for that.” There are people who are too busy to be discouraged. They are always seeing something. Always seeing something. Always seeing something. What’s the next thing to be done? What’s the next thing to be done? Hallelujah.
One day I had the opportunity to sit with one of our fathers of faith and he was discussing something that represented the next level. My goodness. And I left that place and I went back. I said, “Mr. Man, any spirit that wants to take you from gear four to gear three. Even three is not permitted. I bind and cancel even gear three. Just stay there and fire on all four cylinders.” listening to the level I mean the things that they wanted to do for the kingdom.
Vision keep vision alive. Vision gives you the legitimacy to say no to many things. The key to focus is vision. Without vision you will not have the power and the legitimacy to say no to so many things. Hallelujah. Praise the name of the Lord.
Vision rids you of distraction. But I will tell you something. There’s a side effect to vision. Vision creates blindness. This is why you must back vision by strong relationships. Vision can create blindness.
I’m looking at you now because I’m focused looking at you. I cannot see what is behind me. The consequences of being visionary is that you cannot see everything. And this is where God must surround you with people who can help you see what you are not seeing. Vision has a side effect. It creates blindness.
- Number three, live by the principles of the word of God. Oh, this is powerful. Live by the principles of the word of God.
I can tell you this. The Bible says in Matthew chapter 4 and verse 4, I believe it says, “Man shall not live by bread alone.” Bread means that which is of human origin.
It says, “But by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God forever, oh Lord, your word is settled. The flowers fade.” You know, the Bible says, “The grass withers, but the word of the Lord abides forever.”
It’s important for you to understand that if your life is not built on the rock of God’s word, there will not be longevity to your impact.
Particularly, I I respect pastor because this is a prophetic ministry. It’s one weakness with most prophetic ministries. There is usually an inclination towards the gift other than the word of God. And so, me have profound respect that this is a prophetic ministry and yet there is such honor to the word of God gifts can fade oh you can prophesy and then you don’t stand upon the word of God something will be wrong the greatest prophet
The Bible recorded at the time of Jesus is John the Baptist John used his gift he used a lot of things but because he did not stand upon the word there was a rock of offense and that’s what brought him.
Build your life on the word of God. Build your life on the word of God. Don’t build your life on sentiments. Don’t build your life on popular opinions. It will come and it will fade. But the word of God abides forever.
Build your ministry on the word of God. There is a way the word of God says things should be done. If you walk in keeping with it, I assure you, the glory of God will never depart from your life.
Leviticus chapter 9 and verse 6. The Lord commanded Moses. This is what the Lord commanded that he should do and the glory of the Lord shall appear unto you. There is what you must do. There is how you must live and the glory of God will perpetually manifest in your life.
- Build inner strength through consistent prayer. If you must last, you need strength. You must last, you need strength.
Build inner strength through the practice of consistent prayer. Consistent prayer. Pray every day. Pray every other time.
Luke 18:1, he spake a parable to the end that men ought always to pray and not to faint.
1 Thessalonians 5:17, it says to pray without ceasing. Hallelujah. Pray. Be consistent in prayer. When you pray, you will build strength.
The Bible talks about being strengthened in the inner man by the spirit. You need capacity. Where intelligence fails you, strength can push you through.
Because in every season, there are three seasons in a man’s life.
- There is a season of discovery and preparation. Then there is a season of training.
That’s where you must learn to live in the silence of God. It’s the hardest season in any man’s life. You are living in the silence of God. God, where are we going? And you will not hear anything.
Even as a preacher, you will only hear him when you are counseling someone. Once he’s done, the silence continues. He’s teaching you how to walk by faith. At that point, you don’t need intelligence and creativity. You need strength. The capacity to believe him even where you do not understand him.
Build strength for sense that God is speaking to you. You are celebrating with the church but God is speaking to you. Eat now spiritually eat now in the place of prayer because you are going to go on the strength of that journey.
He told the prophet he said arise and eat. He ate and went back to sleep. He said arise again. Oh, and he went in the strength of that journey 40 days.
I’m praying for you. Everything that has fought your prayer life as you have come to identify and celebrate with this church. I decree and declare let fresh fire be rekindled upon your prayer altar. If you are receiving, shout amen.
James chapter 4 and verse 6. My apologies. But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith God resisted the proud. This statement is very scary. Because when God is resisting you, the anointing cannot help you.
The anointing was not designed to fight God. So when God is the one fighting you, do you bind him? Do you cast him? Are you going to use the word to rebuke God? Will you use the power of the Holy Ghost to remove his hand? When God is fighting you, only the prayer of repentance and mercy can help you.
And I pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ. Everything that represents pride around your life, whether it’s the pride of life, whether it’s a hotty spirit, whether it’s an overestimation of self, I declare that it gives way right now.
The Bible says, “I am what I am by the grace of God.” It says, “Not that we are sufficient in ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God who has made us abled ministers.” after the New Testament the spirit and not the letter for the letter killth but the spirit gives life.
Humility is powerful. It’s difficult to criticize a humble person even if you are right. Humility is powerful. There are many battles you would not need to fight if you walk in humility. Pride is an amplifier of hatred.
If you are wicked and you are proud, you only brought the battle closer. If you are ignorant and you are proud, you only brought the battle closer. I’m telling you, humility will save you many battles. Many battles that have no rewards. Practice humility. Practice humility.
Now, humility is not refusing to acknowledge the goodness of God in your life. That’s not that’s not that’s not humility. Humility is not rejecting good things. No, there’s a difference between being simple and being humble.
You can be simple and yet not humble. Humility is being vocal about the contribution of God as the basis for who you are and where you are. That you are unapologetic about it. You are vocal enough to tell people I am what I am, where I am, doing what I am by the grace of God. Hallelujah.
- This is number seven. This is my anniversary church. Build systems and structures to preserve your legacy.
This is to pastor but this is also to the entire church. Build systems and structures. And sir, we thank God for the books you have written. We thank God for the programs.
You see, when God sends a word to Jacob at the end of your life, that word should have lightened upon Israel. There is nothing God gives a man that is for that man alone. If it remains with you, even if you were effective in using it, if you don’t transfer it.
Redefining inheritance by Apostle Selman
And I speak there about the five things that qualify to be inheritance. It says a good man leaveth an inheritance for his children’s children. For most people, inheritance for them is estate. No, that’s the list of what you can give.
- The first thing that the Bible calls inheritance that is transferable are your spiritual convictions and
- Then number two your name and
- Then number three your relationships. These are nobler things to transfer than estate. Praise the name of the Lord.
So build systems and structures that preserve your legacy.
Do you know this? Some of you are business people. Have you seen someone build something for 30 years, 40 years, and then one year’s carelessness just destroyed everything? I have seen it. I have seen grass to grace.
But honestly, I have seen grace to grass. I have seen grace to grass where a man’s business legacy was destroyed either because he was fighting with the government or because he gave birth to a child he did not train.
In Africa, we hardly have third or fourth generation anything. There’s a generation that suffers to build. There’s a generation that participates in the suffering, the children now, and then they watch the emergence. But there’s a generation that does not know Egypt. They don’t know the suffering in Egypt. They gave birth to them on the way to THE PROMISED LAND. THESE ARE THE ONES that do not understand the ordinances of the covenant. They are the ones who bring the legacy down. You see that now?
So in Africa you find out that a man can build something and lose it in his lifetime. He started FROM GROUND ZERO WENT UP. THERE WAS A TIME HE WAS above then transferred it to his children. Maybe the grandchildren they become reckless and careless and in that man’s lifetime he dies with pain minus you in Jesus name.
Your children will not destroy what God is building. Are you receiving it? Saying a loud amen.
But the way to do it is to build systems and to build structures. One of the ways we study God and we transfer the knowledge of God is trapping his dimensions in his names.
When God revealed himself mightily over the life in the over the nation of Israel, he would tell them preserve this, build an altar around it. If your CHILDREN ASK YOU WHAT IS THIS ABOUT? Then you now tell them the story that this and that is what God did. Build systems.
This does not just apply to the church alone. It applies to business. Even if you are a billionaire, don’t just carry money and give your children because they are your children. No. Build a system that teaches them responsibility. Hallelujah. Praise the name of the Lord. Hallelujah.
Build systems and structures that preserve your legacy. Books, schools, programs that advance your persuasions.
- Let me give you number eight. This one is powerful. Similar to seven. Invest in replication. Raise and mentor at least two generations.
It is in mentoring at least two generations that you are officially considered successful because the Bible says a good man lives an inheritance for his children and then his children’s children.
Invest in replication. That means that by the next 10 years although there are many now we want to see many people who rise up in the prophetic after the order of God’s servant.
But you see the challenge is that mentorship and replication demands two things.
- One, the willingness of the mentor to pour in
- but the humility of the mentee to receive.
The willingness of the mentor to pour in but the humility of the mentee. There cannot be a pouring until there is a potential difference. Provided you believe you at the same level, you won’t receive anything. And this is one of the cancer with our generation. We don’t have the discernment to recognize difference. Hallelujah. Invest in replication.
Let me tell you this prophetic declaration is only the final point of transferring graces. You have to sit down.
There is the law of impartation.
- Number one is honor.
- Number two is service.
- Number three is training.
Don’t don’t jump all those processes and believe that by shouting one amen you will receive a transference of those graces. It doesn’t work that way, sir.
The They had what in the Bible called the school of the prophets. And did you know that even AMONG THOSE GUYS, NOBODY THE BIBLE DOES NOT TELL US who they are or what they BECAME BECAUSE PRIDE CAME INTO THAT CAMP. They knew Elijah was going, but it was not their problem. They had been trained. They said, “I hope you know your master, not our master. Your master.” They were telling Elisha, “I hope you know your master is going.”
Elisha was not supposed to be a prophet. He was not in his destiny. He was a farmer but HE SUBSCRIBED TO THE LAW OF REPLICATION and he later became a great prophet.
I’m praying for you that others will not honor pastor outside and then back home you just see him as that man who is anointed. I’m praying for somebody here that in the name of Jesus after this 30 years you will make up your mind and say God you have placed this grace and there is a connection there’s something in him that relates to my destiny let me obtain the grace to sit down and learn.
God has made it easier for you people travel from everywhere now God has made you know sometimes when things are too close to us and too easy and too cheap and even too free we usually don’t receive it.
So sometimes instead of God saying just get it here, he will TELL YOU TURN AROUND AND COME BACK TO THAT SAME PLACE so that you will respect what you get. May God not have to do that for you. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Nobody in this church should be confused over matters for a prolonged time when there is such an investment of God’s grace.
Everything you see happen is because there is a grace to replicate it. But graces, replication, answers to honor. Replication answers to honor.
EVERY MAN CAN TALK ABOUT HIMSELF. BUT WHEN JESUS CAME, HE SPOKE LESS OF HIMSELF. MY FATHER, MY FATHER THAT SENT ME, MY FATHER.
When the centurion came, he said, I am a man under authority. And he caught Jesus’s attention. I have SOLDIERS UNDER ME. YOU TWO, YOU ARE UNDER AUTHORITY. DON’T COME TO MY HOUSE. JUST SPEAK. AND JESUS SAID, WHO TAUGHT YOU? Who taught you this principle? I’ve not seen this kind of faith. No, not in Israel.
We live in a world where we like to take credits by oursel. This was my revelation. He came from my secret place. Came from all of you have to be careful. It is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. When he sends a word to Jacob, he lightens it upon Israel.
One of the blessings of Nigeria we have today is not the excellency of sons, is the presence of fathers. That’s what has saved Nigeria from being like many African countries. It’s not like we are better. Many of us are even more stubborn. It’s just that we are privileged to still have fathers alive. So no matter what it is, what we call our greatest strength is what the fathers have as their usual programs. So the the basis of pride is NOT EVEN THERE. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO boast of? Is it money? Is it anointing? So it it has kept us humble.
That is the reason why every leader and every general overseer must succeed because your success tames the humility of those who are coming. If you are not successful and you allow them to be by far successful than you when you are still active, not when you are retiring, you would you would kill their their basis of listening to you because they will feel we’ve gone far ahead of you.
I’m telling you when you are crying for success it’s not for your sake it’s so that you can have the basis to rebuke someone and say you’re a billionaire but sit down I can still talk to you. Invest in replication
- NUMBER NINE BE JOYFUL VOID OF BITTERNESS AND OFFENSE.
You must LIVE A JOYFUL LIFE, VOID OF bitterness and void of offense. I can tell you that’s the one thing that killed John the Baptist. It was not generational causes that killed John the Baptist. There was no demonic attack that killed John THE BAPTIST. THE ONE THING THAT KILLED JOHN THE BAPTIST was offense. This is powerful.
A MAN WHO THE BIBLE SAYS OF ALL THE PROPHETS THAT HAD COME, THERE WAS NONE WHO WAS GREATER THAN HIM. JOHN WAS THE MAN WHO ORDAINED JESUS TO MINISTRY. I hope you know JOHN WAS A PROPHET. HE WAS THE ONE WHO SAID, “BEHOLD THE LAMB THAT TAKES AWAY THE SINS of the world.” He got it spot on.
He said, “I’m not worthy to untie the latchet of your shoe.” Jesus said, “Suffy to be so that scripture will be fulfilled.” Now when he ordained Jesus and Jesus started ministry some of the disciples left and they went to to yes it was still the same John who said that I may decrease.
That’s why it’s important to to believe what you are saying. He already said that I may decrease so that YOU WILL INCREASE. WHEN he now decreased AND JESUS INCREASED HE WAS ANGRY. He now went to jail because he was functioning in an area where grace was not present. He was done with his assignment. Mind your business. He went to rebuke Herod and started talking about his marital life and talking about.
You see your immunity is in the place of your assignment. There are things you can say and go back home because there is a defense there. IF YOU FUNCTION OUTSIDE OF THE SCOPE OF YOUR GRACE, you will say things and pay for it. That’s what happened to John. And then they took him and locked him up. And he expected Jesus to come and do something about it. And Jesus kept quiet. And in his anger, he was getting reports. The miracle worker was doing his thing. AND HE SAID, “GO AND TELL HIM, ARE YOU THE MESSIAH?” When the man who ordained you is now sending that they should go and verify whether you are the Messiah or they should expect another. Jesus knew that was not the voice of ignorance. He was the voice of offense. Are you the Messiah or should we expect another? And Jesus said, “Ah, I know what the problem is.” He healed the sick, did all of that and said, “Go and tell John what you saw. The blind see the deaf hear the gospel is preached to the poor.” Then he said, “Blessed is he who is not offended in me.” John, that’s your problem. You’re offended.
If there is anything someone was asking me a question and he said apostle what is the greatest way of preserving the power of God I said it’s not prayer it’s not fasting it’s not Bible study is joy joy joy joy.
Make up your mind that you will not be offended they hate Jesus they hate Satan you will be somewhere in between the two somebody must hate you. And let me tell you the truth, the consolation is that not everybody hates Jesus and not everybody hates Satan. AS BAD AS SATAN IS, THERE are people who love him. When I teach, I say terrorists have wives. There’s a lady who agreed to spend the rest of her life with a terrorist knowing he’s a terrorist. Will you marry him? Yes. Are you aware he’s a terrorist? Yes. Will you live with him? Your case is not too bad.
Don’t let people hate you and then you get angry. We’re about to pray. Apostle, but these people hate me.
Who who hates you doesn’t matter. I’m telling you. You just need who likes you. That’s it. Who hates you doesn’t matter. Don’t invest your energy.
Make your attention so expensive. Only few people should be able to afford it. Make your attention very expensive. Don’t invest it just everywhere because your energy goes the direction of your attention. Joy. Joy.
You must make up your mind that I will live a joyful life.
Say in the name of Jesus. The joy of the Lord is my strength. There’s no time I’ve had the honor of seeing a father in the Lord that the chill that I did not see him smiling. He will be smiling and say, “Ah, what does a pastor have to do to an apostle?” And he will laugh and will just crack jokes and laugh there. Ah, daddy, this I will not be deceived by those things. Ah, you but you are an apostle. Can you imagine?
Because joy is withered from the hearts of men. When joy is withered from your heart, every other thing will wither.
The joy of the Lord is my strength. The joy of the Lord. The joy of the Lord is my strength.
Let me tell you this, ladies and gentlemen. Joy is a choice. Make up your mind that this year 2026, I’m not going to be gloomy moving around. Find a reason.
One of the greatest secrets of joy is to be ever conscious of what God has done. Let your eyes always be around where he’s doing something, not what you are expecting him to do.
That was when it it occurred to the man that every stage of your life is somebody’s prayer point. Every state, every stage. Every stage.
Listen ladies and gentlemen, I am not unmindful of the realities that plague our world. Some of you are seated here right now. Whilst you are celebrating, there’s a rent issue. There’s an issue of your health. Maybe your marriage is going through a crisis. I’m not unmindful when we say to rejoice. We rejoice in the Lord.
There is nowhere in the Bible where a man is told to rejoice in a situation. You rejoice in the Lord. It is always the joy of the Lord. Rejoice in the Lord that though the the the fig tree will not blossom nor there be olives on the vine. The labor of the this may fail. He says yet I will rejoice. I will joy in the God of my salvation.
You are never told to rejoice in a situation. That’s happiness. Joy is always in the Lord of the Lord. the joy of the Lord. Rejoice in the Lord. And again I say rejoice. You don’t need things to happen to be joyful.
You only need things to happen to have the fullness of joy. You can rejoice whether things are happening or not. Then he says he too have asked for nothing in my name. He says ask and you shall receive that your joy may be full.
I made up my mind that I’m too young to be sad in my world. It is joy everywhere. Believe me, the spirit of God granting me joy. When I get up in the morning, Lord, I thank you. It’s an honor to be your child. It’s an honor to serve your purposes. Thank you. Thank you that I’m alive. I give you praise. Yes. Make up your mind to be joyful. that if at all you cry, let it be tears of joy.
And one of the secrets of joy is to always interpret things from the lens of God’s sovereign plan. Always interpret things from the lens of God’s sovereign plan. I know the thoughts that I think towards you, said the Lord. They are thoughts of peace and not of evil to bring you a future and an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11. I know.
Philippians 1:19. And I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer and the supply of the spirit of Christ Jesus.
Eye have not seen, ear, has not heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man what God has in store for me. He will unveil it bit by bit, season by season by his spirit. My assignment is to live joyful. My assignment is to live happy. We have come to celebrate right now. I’m hoping and praying that someone would not leave this place with glooiness. It’s a time of joy. It says to rejoice with them that rejoice. Hallelujah. Praise the name of the Lord. Hallelujah.
Joy is one of the greatest demonstrations of faith. Joy is a demonstration of faith. You want to last long, be joyful. 1 Peter 1 and verse 8 he said whom having not seen ye love in whom though now ye see him not yet believe in ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.
We’re about to pray. I want to stand upon the grace of our father the continental overseer and our father pastor Emos Fenwa and in identifying with this great vision I just want to speak over your life.
It takes vision to start. It takes discipline to continue. But it takes mercy to finish. It takes mercy to finish. I’ve seen champions that did not finish. I’ve seen disciplined people that did not finish. I’ve seen others that we thought will not last. They are still standing.
When we started this journey, they were people you would think if if God did not call them after 2 months, they will bring down heaven. Some of them are not even in ministry again. I’m not even sure they in Christ. I’m telling you.
But we saw others that we felt when will this man come out of Sodom and Gomorrah. Today they live in his presence perpetually. The race is not to the swift. The battle is not to the strong. All you need to do is to live long enough. Every year teaches you a lesson about the mercy of God.
I want to pray, but I’m going to ask us to do one thing. My time is up. I want you to use this opportunity and ask God for one thing. the one thing you want him to do in your life. We’re standing, we are privileged to have our father, the continental overseer, and then the angel of God. Leverage on these graces and cry onto God that Lord, this is the one thing I want you to do. Don’t be silent.
No, anniversaries and birthdays are unusual days. Let me tell you something. There is something about birthdays, anniversaries, and celebrations. It was during a birthday that a prophet’s head went away. Birthdays are unusual times when requests are granted.
Please lift your voice and pray. What is it that you want God to do? Father, my church cannot be celebrating and I am crying. Cry before the God of heaven. Yahe, father of mercy, I call on you. Yawheh, you’re the father of mercy. I call on you. Oh, father of mercy.
Be anxious for nothing. The Bible says, “But in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. Ye have not because he has not.”
Someone one minute you are asking, “Father, give me a child. Let this be the season where I rejoice in the name of Jesus. Take away reproach from my life. Anoint me with fresh oil. Take away shame and reproach. Father, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
Eternal God, we glorify your name. Thank you for that great word that you sent from the throne room of heaven to us. Father, we thank you for this celebration today and we ask that a new chapter of a new beginning will be open for the ministry and for everyone in the name of Jesus. The God who is the Almighty will take this particular ministry from where it is now to where God has programmed it to BE IN THE NAME OF JESUS. We ask for a leader, a father, the man of God who God has appointed over this ministry that THE GRACE OF GOD OVER HIS LIFE WILL CONTINUE TO BE ON THE INCREASE IN THE NAME OF JESUS. Your word said they look unto him, they were lighting, their faces were not ashamed. We ask it will be from glory to glory, from joy to joy, from anointing to anointing. Father what HAPPENED TO BE THE CELEBRATION NOW GOD OF HEAVEN IN ANOTHER ONE YEAR THEY WILL SURPASS IT MUCH MORE WHAT THEY HAVE DONE IN 30 YEARS IN ONE YEAR THEY WILL SURPASS IT IN THE NAME OF JESUS. We ask that anointing of God will continue to flow. Everyone oh God WHO BELONGS TO THE ORDER OF THIS MINISTRY AND WHO BELONGS TO THIS PARTICULAR PLACE WITH OR WITHOUT PRAYER THEIR PRAYER AND THEIR PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED IN THE NAME OF JESUS. ANYONE WHO CARRY GENERATIONAL CURSE, terminal disease, WHEN THEY ENTER ANY PREMISES OF THIS ORGANIZATION, BEFORE THEY WILL EVEN RECEIVE PRAYER, THOSE THING WILL CLEAR OFF IN THE NAME OF JESUS. >> FATHER ETERNAL, WE ASK THAT THIS PARTICULAR ministry will be waxing stronger. >> The man of God in the house, his glory will never go down. The anointing of God upon him will be on the increase. >> ANYWHERE HE ENTER LORD ALMIGHTY MEN AND WOMEN WILL COMPETE TO BLESS HIS LIFE. >> Where other people has been standing WHERE FATHERS ARE STANDING FAR FAR higher oh God and he desire to be there without any stress you will take him there in Jesus name. WHAT TOOK OTHER YEARS AND YEAR TO ACHIEVE LORD IN FEW MONTHS IT WILL BE A WALKOVER FOR HIM. >> And everyone in this ministry WE ASK OH GOD THEY WILL ONLY HEAR ABOUT SHAME THEY WILL NOT BE A PARTAKER. >> WE PRODUCE BACKWARDNESS WILL NOT BE PART OF THEIR LIFE. WHATEVER CRISIS IN THEIR LIFE TODAY AND THE WORD OF THE LORD FROM THE MOUTH OF YOUR SON AND YOUR AND YOUR SERVANT LORD THAT PROBLEM IS CLEAR. >> What look LIKE A PAIN TO THEM WILL BECOME PLEASURE. >> FRUSTRATION WILL become ficitation. >> THEIR TEST WILL BECOME TESTIMONY. OBSTACLE WILL become miracle >> IN THE NAME OF JESUS. THE GOD WHO IS THE AUTHOR OF BEGINNING, THE MIDDLE AND THE ENDING WILL NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO FALL BY THE WAYSIDE. >> For that leader IN THE HOUSE, HE WILL NOT RUN out of purify ideas. >> You will take him up higher >> in the name of Jesus. >> AND HERE ON THE PURPOSE OF his existence will be fulfilled >> and all of us will fulfill our destiny. make it to THE REALM OF GLORY WHERE JESUS IS WAITING. >> Thank you our father. >> Thank you Lord. >> The man of God who has spoken to our lives today. We pray that Lord you have make him a global voice but much more than he ever dream or desire. It will go up still in the name of Jesus. Lord his voice alone will clear challenges. Voice alone will clear generational issues. Everyone that say amen let them double bless you ministries release on you. What you have struggle to achieve in 30 and you get it in 3 days. Receive that grace. RECEIVE THAT GRACE. RECEIVE THAT GRACE. THE Lord keep you. The Lord protect you. The Lord favor you. Only good news. Thank you father. Amen. Hallelujah. Praise the name of the Lord. They have spoken over you. I would not say so much except to say that you will start well. You will finish well. You will start well. You will finish well in the name of Jesus. Holy Ghost Christian Center. Congratulations. May the Lord bless you.
