What Is An Awakening?

• Awakenings is a moment of restored or heightened God consciousness.
• Meaning that this is a moment where God is able to restore God consciousness or heighten God consciousness.
• It is a moment that is characterized by passion for God with a renewed determination to know him, to love him, and to live for him.

2 Chronicles 15:12-15 KJV, Ephesians 5:14 KJV, Matthew 13:24-25 KJV

Three Expressions of Sleep According To Scripture:

1. It is the natural expression.
   Rest from exhaustion. rest from tiredness after a day’s work, etc. Psalm 4:8 KJV
2. The Bible likens the transition of a believer, what we call the death of a believer as sleeping. Psalm 13:3 KJV, 1 Thessalonians 4 KJV
3. A state of spiritual decline. Matthew 13:25 KJV, Ephesians 5:14 KJV.

• But one thing that characterizes sleep is that you lose consciousness of your immediate environment.
• You lose sensitivity. It will take an extra effort to wake someone or pass a message across to someone who is asleep.

There are things that can come from the spirit by the spirit for your destiny. But because you are in a state of sleep, you are not able to perceive. Genesis 32 KJV

Five Signs of a Life That is Declining Spiritually:

1. There is a significant deviation from your love for God and spiritual things. Revelation 2:1-4 KJV, 2 Timothy 3:1-4 KJV.
   • Whatever affects your love for God is already on its way to destroying your spiritual life.
   • It matters that God becomes your highest priority.
   • The character of God in dealing with men is that anything that you exalt above him is considered your God and is considered an idol.
   • It’s not enough to say God is in your life. His position matters. He can be in your life as number 35, number 36. He’s there. He desires to be the highest priority.
   • The might of God upon the life of a man is connected to the depth of your passion, your love for God, and your love for the things of God.
   • Show me a man who is genuinely in love with Jesus beyond ministry, genuinely in love with Jesus beyond church, genuinely in love with Jesus beyond pretense. I show you a man who cannot go down. I show you a man who has found his way to a life of excellence regardless what the situations are.
   • The key is to love him, not to use him. The key is to love him, not to use him. You can use God to get things. You can use God to get fame. You can use God because you need power from him. But those who will last, those who will thrive are men who love him beyond money, love him beyond titles, love him beyond ministry.
   • Someone shout, “I love Jesus.” I love Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV. This is a love affair.
   • That he becomes your highest priority. Nothing and no one sustains the power to take his place in your life
   • There is a realm where only lovers dwell. There is a realm that is beyond just church. There is a realm beyond the realm of a prayer warrior. Is a realm of a lover. God will open up his heart to you and show you things. God will take the prayer request of a man and give you as a gift because it’s a love affair. You will get blessings in your life you cannot account for. You can’t tell how they arrive. It was a gift of love.
   • As you fall in love with the Lord Afresh, you will see there are graces there, there are dimensions

There are things that should have come out from you as proof that you have been with him genuinely. I pray for you. I don’t know what has stolen your passion. I came here in the name of Jesus. Standing in faith with your pastor. Oh, let a fresh passion for Jesus. Let it rest upon you. Let it rest upon you. Let it rest upon you that he becomes your everything in the name of Jesus.

2. Progressive growth of self. The progressive growth of self to the degree to which self is growing in you is a sign that you are dying spiritually. Self or self-centeredness

• One of the implications of having a healthy relationship with Jesus is that self dies. It doesn’t matter how long it’s been. If it’s the God of the Bible you encounter, self dies. You begin to live beyond yourself. It’s not all about what I want. Here’s the language of spiritual men. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours be done.
• No, the progressive growth of self is a major indication of a spiritual decline.

3. Consistent, ever-increasing compromise of your values and godly standards.

• When there is a consistent ever-increasing compromise of your values and your godly standards and you’re not convicted afterwards, it’s a sign that you need help quickly.

4. A decline in your spiritual convictions, meaning you are no longer sure of what you once believed. 1 Timothy 4:1 KJV

• A sign of a spiritual decline in addition to a compromise of your values and your standards. You get to a point where you are not even sure what you believe again.
• When spiritual things look like nonsense to you, it’s a sign that you are going down spiritually, the confession of the word, fasting, prayer, and so on and so forth.

5. A decline in your passion for the house of God. Psalm 122:1 KJV

• By the time you stop being glad when they tell you, “Let us go to the house of the Lord,” is a sign of an attack, a real attack on your life.
• There are things that only happen when you are in the assembly of God’s people. No matter how healthy you are spiritually in isolation there is a limit to which you can rise. Psalm 133 KJV.
• There are people who don’t care. They come to church or they don’t. It doesn’t really affect them. Is a sign of a spiritual decline.

The theme awakening is beyond the theme of a conference. It is a call.

There Are Four Major Areas of Awakening:

1.  The first area of awakening is greater passion for Jesus. Greater passion.

• •  You must be awakened to a greater passion for Jesus. A deeper consecration will lead to greater passion for Jesus.
    • There are two expressions to consecration:
      1. The first dimension of consecration has to do with obtaining grace to abstain from.
      Obtaining grace to abstain from the works of the flesh and sinful lusts.
      2. The second dimension of consecration is devotion unto.
      So you can obtain grace to abstain from, but if you are not devoted unto, you are still not consecrated. Unfortunately, our the the larger part of our understanding of consecration just has to do with abstinence. And that’s wonderful. But we stop there. If it stops at abstinence, then your definition is not wholesome. It must also go into devotion. Total devotion.

• • The Lord is calling us as a body of believers to rise and to be awakened to greater passion for Jesus. Greater passion for Jesus, loving him, loving his house, loving his program beyond our personal agenda, beyond the things that we want for ourselves. That our eyes are on him, not just to receive, but to understand that we are also partakers of that heavenly calling. We love him enough to know him. We love him enough to serve his purposes.

2. The second area of awakening as the Lord put in my heart to bring to the body of Christ and to bring to the family that are here represented a higher level of prayer to be awakened to a higher level of prayer and fellowship.

•  The move of God will be stifled when God does not find a people who understand the mysteries of the altar. Your personal efficiency as a person will fail until you understand the mysteries of the altar. Luke 18:1 KJV, Mark 11:24 KJV, 1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV, Acts 6:4 KJV, Acts 2:42 KJV
  • Shout I will pray. The devil did not hear you. Say I will pray. Like you are serious. Say I will pray.
• The man who prays has capacity to discern the doings of God, to discern the speakings of God.
• One of the greatest demonstration of pride in a believer’s life is prayerlessness. Prayerlessness is pride. It’s a declaration of your independence out of the assistance of heaven.
• You need to understand that God gave man a will. This will God gave man makes it scripturally incorrect for God to step into a man’s life and make any adjustments without him calling. The fact that he gave man a will. Behold, I stand at the door of your heart and knock. Even though I created you, I will keep knocking until you use your will to open that door. The will of man is powerful.
• Every time you pray, you are verbalizing your dependence. Every time you pray on legal basis, you are calling that heaven comes to assist you. This is how it works.
  • Four assignments of prayer in the life of the believer:
    • Assignment number one of prayer is for your growth and transformation. 1. This is the highest and the richest assignment of prayer more than receiving things. You pray yourself into a more powerful version. You pray yourself into a more sensitive version.
      2. A weak believer can mold out of fear. You can mold out of flesh. You can mold out of limitation until you become a man or a woman of stature and power. Luke 9:29 KJV
    • The second assignment of prayer is as a channel or a platform for obtaining requests and making petitions. Mark 11:24 KJV
    • The third assignment of prayer is for spiritual legislation, that in the place of prayer you create possibilities in your life. You change narratives. You redefine possibilities.
      1. Prayer is like a man holding an eraser and a pen. You find what is not consistent with the word of God in the place of prayer. You sustain the power to clean it and say not so. I do not agree. This verdict is inconsistent with the word and you begin to rewrite things.
      2. There is nothing like too late for a man of prayer.
    • The fourth assignment at least for prayer is as a tool for spiritual warfare and intercession. You need to understand the dynamics of warfare.
      The believer must sustain intelligence to be able to appropriate that which is finished in Christ over your atmosphere as touching demon spirits and their determination to destroy your destiny. It says the whole world lies in wickedness.
      When you learn how to pray and you know how to pray with intelligence. Philippians 1:19 KJV.

Someone again shout I will pray. So when we are talking about an awakening in addition to your passion for Jesus it must be an awakening onto prayer not as a religious activity. No prayer that produces power. Prayer that produces results. James 5:16 KJV, James 5:16 AMP.

Show me a man who prays. Show me a man who understands the mysteries of the altar. Prayer is an equalizer. It balances every disadvantage you have in life. It doesn’t matter what the disadvantage is. Give yourself to prayer. And watch the balance scale up.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s a poor background, whether it’s lack of education, whether it’s lack of an advantage. Prayer becomes for you an equalizer.

If you submit yourself to prayer, I tell you it’s impossible to remain in an entity. Again, shout I will pray. I will pray.

There is a dimension of faith that only prayer can receive for you.

When you meet people who are men and women of prayer, their capacity to believe God becomes expanded. They can receive things. When you hear their plans and goals, you will be afraid. They are able to afford to receive that ambitious blueprint because prayer has expanded their capacity.

The Bible says building yourselves on your most holy faith. Jude 1:20 KJV

One way you know it is God talking to you is because he will never tell you what you can do. He will tell you what he can do through you. I

If God gives you a plan and a blueprint and it’s already possible, you most likely had a familiar spirit. Because in obeying God, the discipline that you go through is more important to God than the result.

He will give you instructions that will stretch your faith, stretch your believing. That stretching is really where the blessing is.

I pray for you. Obtain grace to pray.

Your prayer life will not produce result until it is systematized. If prayer is not systematized, it cannot produce results.

Praying only when you are aware of danger is praying too late. Praying too late.

You must discipline yourself and create sessions of prayer. Let it be a healthy ritual. a ritual that is bound by a covenant. There’s no gift of prayer. It requires discipline.

You are engraced to pray, but prayer is not convenient. It is the awareness of what it can do that gives you the staying power.

Isaiah 32:15 KJV

I pray for you. Let power from heaven rest on you. Rest on you. Rest on your life. Rest on your destiny in the name of Jesus. Let a thousand cubs be measured. I push you by prophecy.

Step into a new season, a new dimension in the name of Jesus.

For someone here, I speak to you. I’m hearing in my spirit. You are stepping into your season of visibility. Your season of visibility. I’m speaking into a business.

I’m speaking to a daughter of Zion. I’m only speaking to receivers entering into your season of strange visibility. Oh, may your head be lifted above the waters, be lifted above the sentiments of men. Those who need you, may they see you. Those who need you, may they find you. I say to you, those who need you, may they see you. I place grace on your life. Those who need you, may they see you. May they find you in the name of Jesus.

Awaken to prayer. Allowing prayer to change you, then it will change everything around you. allowing prayer to change you, then it will change everything around you.

Allowing prayer to change you that the Holy Ghost will ride upon the wings of consistent prayer and change you as a worshipper, change you as a man of God, change you as a businessman, then through you like that river begin to change things around you.

The Lord is asking me to speak to someone and I want you to listen. Do you believe in the grace for speed?

In the name of Jesus, let the grace for speed, let it rest on you now. Let it rest on you now. 10 years in one year. 10 years in one year. I speak it to a business. I speak it to a ministry. 10 years in one year. 10 years in one year. May the God of my covenant bring it to pass. 10 years in one year. 10 years in one year. 10 years in one year.

3.  The third instruction God gave me for us is that we be awakened to the dynamics of faith. We must know and learn how to live by faith.

Living by faith. 1 John 5:4 KJV

I’m praying for someone. Let the spirit of faith come on you. Let the spirit of faith to do impossible things in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Let the spirit of faith rest upon you. Rest upon your business. Rest upon you in the name of Jesus Christ.

My God is doing a new thing. Doing a new thing. I stand in faith with the grace of God upon your pastor. And I declare new things. New dimensions. New things. New dimensions. New things. New dimensions. Isaiah 43:19 KJV

New things for someone means a new job. It means a new home. It means new possibilities. Receive it in the name of Jesus.

That you are here today by the spirit of God is a testament of the fact that your man of God has demonstrated the power of faith.

Faith always works. Bible faith. Hebrews 11:32 KJV

Faith can truly move mountains.

What it means to be awakened unto faith?

• That you move past the realm of acting on the word of God to living by the word of God.
  Acting upon the word of God is like someone who is sick but not interested in his health. You can receive drugs to just be fine for that moment.
  • But the person who lives by the word is the one who takes all the health measures to make sure you don’t even fall sick in the first place.
• Most believers are only conscious of acting on the word. But the Bible talks beyond acting the word. Matthew 4:4 KJV.  Now you must know that it takes beyond bread. Bread means that which is of man-made origin. Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word.
• To live by faith means to submit to the supremacy of the word of God. God is not a man that he should lie. Number 23:19 KJV
  If he tells you you are the head, you believe him. Believe him. If he tells you you are above only, don’t mind social media. You believe him. If it tells you you are above and not beneath, you believe it. Psalm 18:29 KJV. Believe it. Believe it.
• Faith goes beyond believing the word. Faith moves you past the realm of believing to finding out how to stand in partnership with the word so that you commit God’s integrity to perform.
  You can believe God genuinely and yet you have not completed your faith equation. Believing is part of faith but it does not end with believing.
  Faith is a name given to the action you take as proof that you believe God.
  In one word, faith is obedience. In one word, faith is obedience.

4. The fourth area, and this is a very serious one, is to learn to walk in love. This is the fourth area of awakening to walk in love. Ephesians 5:1-2 KJV.

Hold on for a moment. I want to tell you a very big secret. I don’t know everything about spirit life, but I can tell you this. There are certain dimensions of trust you will never get from God until you learn to walk in love.

There are many many people who pray. There are many many people who fast. But limits they are being trusted by God with great things is that they do not understand the law of love.

Love looks very feminine, looks very casual, but that’s what defeated death on the cross. Where power failed, love continued. You have to respect love.

The Bible says there remained these three, faith that moves mountains, hope that makes not ashame, it says love, but the greatest.

To walk in love is a choice. To walk in love is a choice. It has nothing to do with feelings.

The Bible says to owe no man nothing but love. Romans 13:8 KJV.

The law of love is powerful. When you walk in love, that’s the realm of power. It’s a realm where Satan will not know what to do with your life again because your possibilities become endless.

Believers need to walk in love. Some of the greatest pain believers have received in their lives came from church not outside of church.

So whilst we do all the impartation and people grow in revelation there must be a restoration of love and it must be both vertical and horizontal.

If you love Jesus and you hate men your love is not genuine. 1 John 4:20 KJV.

John 13:35 KJV. Not when you pray, not when you give, when you love.

And love has indices. Love has indices. The highest index for measuring love is sacrifice.

There are heights and depths and lengths and breadth of love:

1. Passion is a dimension of love.
2. Commitment is a dimension of love.
3. Pleasure is a dimension of love.
4. Sacrifice is a dimension of love. The highest is sacrifice. John 15:13 KJV

Love Jesus. Love your pastor. Love yourselves. Love Jesus. Love your pastor. Love your leaders. Don’t just obey them. Don’t just respect them.

When you love, you can bend over backwards with joy. Now, the character of love is that love and self cannot coexist.

My definition of love is the absence of self. To the degree to which self dies in you, that is the degree to which love is alive in you.

When you genuinely love, you look towards the interest of others more than it is your own interest.

Genuine love. Don’t hate on people.

Love genuinely. Let your words minister love. Let it minister hope. People are already wounded. They are already dealing with too many things in their lives. Don’t add to people’s headache.

Love genuinely. Does that mean you will not offend one another many times?

But you see forgiveness is the highest form of giving.

When you study the moves of God, one of the major reasons why the moves of God died, aside from other things like you know flesh and pride was that lack of love, hatred that brought competition, jealousy, backbiting, once there’s no love, all manner of the works of the flesh, you will see it manifest.

The fruit of the spirit, the Bible says, is love. And then that love is manifested in all its variety. A true Christian is not just known by your prayer life. A true Christian is not just known by fasting.

Someone say, “I walk in love.” Say it again. I walk in love. We’re about to pray shortly, but say, “I walk in love.” Say, “No offense.” Say it again. Say, “No offense.” Say, “I consciously reject offense.”

John 7:18-35 KJV

Make up your mind. You have tried hate. You’ve tried resentment. You’ve tried offense. Why don’t you trust the law of love? The law of love is powerful. It is therapeutic.

You know what it means to go to bed knowing your conscience is free. That’s the reason why many people cannot sleep. Even anointed people, they roll from left to right because they have all kinds of books in their heart.

I’m praying for you. Anyone here having any yoke of unforgiveness, offense? Now don’t get me wrong. Listen, sometimes men can hurt in such a way that you almost want to kill yourself and kill them. I understand. But the Bible still commands to love. The love comes by the Holy Ghost.

Say, “I walk in love.” I walk in love. I know it’s painful, but say, “I walk in love. I walk in love.”

You decide to walk in love. And watch the power of God. owe no man nothing but love.

Father. In the name of Jesus. I decree. I decree and I declare that my fire is restored. My hunger is restored. My discernment is restored. My sensitivity is restored. Go ahead and pray. Restoration of fire. Restoration of hunger. Restoration of sensitivity.

Oh yes. My fire, prayer fire, word study fire, my hunger, my discernment, sensitivity by the Holy Ghost restored.

Say after me, Father in the name of Jesus. And by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, I decree that this is my season of progress. I go forward. I move forward. I advance by the Holy Ghost. I advance by the Holy Ghost. I break limits by the Holy Ghost. I go forward. I rise higher by the Holy Ghost.

Oh, I advance in ministry by the Holy Ghost. I go forward financially. It’s a new season. I go forward in my career by the Holy Ghost. By the Holy Ghost.

I make progress in ministry. I make progress in my business. No going down, no limits. I refuse to plateau. Charging dimensions, new heights in the spirit by the Holy Ghost carried on the wings of grace in the name of Jesus.

This kingdom begins with knowing Jesus and submitting to his governing authority. You can be around church. You may even be a walker perhaps maybe here or any other ministry connected. But that’s not my question tonight. The call tonight is for those who have come to a realization that your life is truly empty without him. Who want to move past the gate of religion and church into a true fellowship with Jesus that translates to a life of victory, honor, and glory.

The Bible says, “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever that blessing is for whosoever believes in him should not perish but have life everlasting.” John 3:16-17 KJV.

God did not send his son to the world to condemn the world. It says, “But that the world through him might believe, might be saved.” I want to give someone an opportunity right now. Perhaps you’ve been following all through the sessions or you are connected tonight for the first time online and across the globe.

• It pays to know Jesus.
• Then it pays to love Jesus.
• Then it pays to live for him.

You cannot live for a God you do not love. And you cannot love a God you do not know. It starts with knowing him. I want to give you an opportunity.

I’m only asking for a bold and a sincere person who’s seen the need to make it right with Jesus or to rededicate your life.

Please give me the honor of leading you to this one who’s changed my life, our lives. He’s able to give you a new beginning.

Now, just a moment. Let me speak to the camera. There are some of you who are watching perhaps by way of television. You’re watching by way of internet from wherever across the globe, Europe, America, Or perhaps you’re just watching on YouTube.

Perhaps even by way of rebroadcast. I’m bringing you the message of Jesus, the one who died for you, the one who loved you enough to lay down his life as proof that he desires a greater destiny for you.

Jesus is always willing to give us a new beginning. It doesn’t matter how things have been. I can tell you this, when you come to Jesus, he truly gives you a new beginning.

Thank you for standing in for Jesus. May I request that you lift your right hand? Those who are not able to make it to the front, I see you at the aisles. Just lift your hands right where you are. Lift your hands. Let it be high above your head. Say this after me as loud and as clear as you can.

Say, “Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus, tonight I declare I declare that I love you with all my heart. I declare that I believe I believe you are the son of God. Son of God. I believe you died for my sin. I believe you rose again for my justification. Right now, I receive your life into my spirit and I decree and I declare I declare that from tonight I’m a child of God, born again. I receive your spirit and I declare I declare the grace to live a victorious life is mine from tonight. I’m a child of God. Amen.

Keep your hands lifted. Father, thank you for my precious brothers and sisters. Your word declares as many who will come to you, you will in no wise cast away.

These ones have come declaring your lordship. I decree and declare that upon their confession and their profession of faith, the life of God indeed eternal life becomes theirs right now. The power of sin, Satan, hell, and the grave is broken over your life forever. You live for Jesus all the days of your life. For it is in Jesus matchless name we pray.

Let me speak a final blessing over you. In the name of Jesus Christ, I decree and declare September, October, November, December, I call them months of strange testimonies. Months of strange testimonies, testimonies of favor, testimonies of liftings, testimonies of increase in the name of Jesus.

To someone, here is your prophetic word. Rest roundabout. rest round about in the name of Jesus Christ. I decree and I declare every closed door over your life, let it be opened now. Opened over your business, opened over your children, opened over your spouse in the name of Jesus.

In the name of Jesus, everyone who’s been anointed by God to hold your hands and to help lift you as a helper of your destiny, I prophesy to the north, the south, the east, and the west. I gravitate them towards your life in the name of Jesus Christ. And I pray finally for your spiritual life. Truly, you will never recover from this conference. Your love for Jesus will go up and up, higher and higher, greater and greater. In Jesus’ name we pray. God bless you.
