Your confidence and your exploits in this kingdom is connected to your knowledge of God. The degree to which you reign, the degree to which you do exploits in this kingdom, is connected to your knowledge of God.

Daniel 11 verse 32, the B part says, but the people that do know their God. It says they shall be strong and they shall do exploits.

So doing exploits in all its ramifications in this kingdom is directly connected to the depth of your knowledge of God. Hallelujah.

The Bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

It says the knowledge of the holy that is understanding to the degree to which you have a functional knowledge of God. Not just a theoretical knowledge, a functional knowledge.

Just say a word or two about knowing God. As mighty, as mysterious as God is, he can be known. He wants to be known. And he’s created the platforms and the resources for the saints to be able to know him.

There are at least four channels, according to Scripture, that can help a believer know God.

1. Number one is through the scripture. The first way we know God is through the study of the scripture. Hallelujah.

He said, “Ye search the scripture for in them you think you will find life and you will not come to me.”

He said, “The scripture testifies of me.” So when we search the scripture, it helps us to know God, particularly to understand his character.

And you may have heard me say that Psalm 103, in my personal opinion, contains the richest compendium of God’s character in all of scripture.

When you read Psalm 103 from verse one to the end, it’s a concise description of God’s character.

2. Number two, the second way we know God is by studying his names. We know God by studying his names.

There was a reason why God allowed himself to carry multiple names as he related with men. So he’s the God Almighty.

There are names that are personal to him, but there are names that are testaments of the various dimensions of himself that was revealed to his people from Jireh to Rapha, you know, and Eleazar as we have it here. It’s a revelation of what God is able to do.

In Exodus chapter 6:1-3

I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as but by my name Yahweh or Lord, I was not known to them.

So, one of the ways you know God is by learning his names. So, his possibilities and his various dimensions are trapped in his name.

When you study Jireh, it’s an unveiling of a dimension of God you will not find in any other name. You will not find Jireh in Rapha yet is the same God.

3. Number three, the third way we learn God according to scripture is to study the man Jesus.

When you study the man Jesus, you find through the revelation of Jesus or through the manifestation of Jesus, the revelation of God. Hallelujah.

The Bible says, “God who in sundry times and diverse manner spake to us in time past through the prophets had in these last days spoken to us through his son whom he had appointed heir of all things.”

And the Bible calls him the brightness of his image. Hallelujah. And so on and so forth, upholding all things by the word of his power.

The Bible calls him the express image of the invisible God. So when you study the man Jesus, you learn God.

This is life eternal. John 17:3. That they may know thee, the only true God and Jesus whom thou has sent. Hallelujah.

So when you study Jesus, you understand God.

And what is very particular about learning God through Jesus is that Jesus also came as a verification system to every knowledge that had been proposed about God. That means everything the prophets, everything the patriarchs said about God, Jesus came as a marking script. He came as a verification system so that whatever they said God was if we did not find it in Jesus, we use Jesus as a marking script to correct our understanding of God as they gave it to us. You understand that now?

So for instance, when you read scriptures like a lying spirit came from the Lord, you know immediately that it was an error in judgment of the prophets. The prophets were human because the Bible tells us that when he came, he was full of grace and truth. That statement already cancels out that possibility in God because he’s not a man that he should lie, nor the son of God or man that he should repent.

So when the Bible says a lying spirit is either an error in the understanding of the prophets or an error in translation, usually that’s where we get the error. Either a limitation because we see impacts, and we prophesy impact. Or there was a problem in translation because the Old Testament was largely written in Hebrew, and then the New Testament was a combination of Greek and Aramaic. Here and there you’d find Latin too, and the words the Hebrew and Greek words are very strong, pregnant words.

One word can have a variety of meanings. And so in selecting English is a very limited word. So in selecting the English word to represent the Hebrew or Greek connotation, many times those who did the translation did their best, but they were limited.

An example is using the word eternal or everlasting for the word Zoe. You see it’s a very limiting word but they did the best that they could do. So eternal life the word Zoe is beyond eternal is beyond everlasting. You see that? But that was the best English word that could capture as much as possible what Zoe was um represented. I hope you you’re getting me so far. Praise God.

So we learn God number one through the study of scripture. Number two by studying his names. Number three by studying the person Jesus.

4. Number four experience. The fourth way is the weakest way we know God. But it’s also one of the ways we know God. Experience.

Job said, “I have heard of thee with the hearing of the ear.” He says, “But now my eyes seeth thee.”

A man can experience God. Hallelujah. You can understand God. Let the wise man not glory in his wisdom. Let the rich man not glory in his riches. Let the strong man not glory in his strength or might. But let him that glorieth glory in this that he understandeth and knoweth me.

You can taste and see that the Lord is good. Not just hear a sermon about him. There is an experience.

So when you say I want to know God, there’s no superstition about it. These are the boundaries. If you go outside them, you will encounter familiar spirits. You will encounter all kinds of extra-biblical phenomena. They may be spiritual but they will not paint a picture.

These maybe there might be more but in my study of scripture these are the boundaries of a believer’s learning God. When you go beyond these boundaries you are prone to error.

You notice experience was the weakest but it is still there because it’s important. But the value of experience is that there is scripture.

You understand his names. You understand Jesus. then your experience can support. So when you say I know God, I say how if you say I had a vision, I doubt you. I don’t care that the vision is spiritual and authentic.

Experience is the weakest way of knowing God. Even though it is powerful by experience, I don’t mean encounter. They’re two different similar words, but they are not the same. An encounter is different from an experience. Hallelujah. Praise the name of the Lord.

I’ll be teaching along your theme and we’re trusting that God will grant us grace in the name of Jesus. Elzar, God my helper.

So like you know the word El-Zer is a Hebrew word has many expressions but it literally means God my helper or God who has helped me. Allelujah.

It’s one of the expressions. It was very customary for the people to name God after their experience with him.

Or sometimes God himself will instruct them to build a monument around that name and then offer sacrifices around it so that if their children ask them what happened, why this, they would use the name and initiate a story that will plant or sustain the fear of God in the people. Praise the name of the Lord.

Now, the idea of help, when you hear the word El-zer, the Greek or the English translation in simple terms just says help.

But the word help there is very limiting because it’s a very broad word. It doesn’t just mean to assist alone.

There are three layers. There’s a tripartite understanding that equals that word help that is used there.

1. Number one talks about support and assistance.

So when he says El-zer and he uses the word help there number one it talks about support and assistance.

2. Number two it talks about strength and empowerment.

I’m showing you the dimensions of help as captured. So number one talks of help, support and assistance. Number two, it talks of help as strength, providing strength and empowerment. In the New Testament, we call it the enabling grace.

The grace that empowers men to do.

3. And then number three, we talk of rescue and deliverance.

It’s important we get this foundation. So when we are talking about God who is my help or my helper, I want you immediately to peg your understanding along these three layers of help.

For the average person, you may just think assistance, that’s the generic understanding of help.

So generally speaking, to help means to assist so that you are able to fulfill a task or accomplish a task. Am I right on that?

If I say help me pick this, I’m I I will participate in the process but I just need your assistance.

And help has two major assignments to make things possible and to make things easy. That’s the whole assignment of help.

When you help a man in whatever way you come in, you help you make things possible and you make things easy.

If I say you have helped me, that means you have provided strength or whatever to make things possible and to make things easy.

Everybody say possible. Say easy. One more time. Say possible. Say easy. Now, so I’m I’m talking about the help of God is three-dimensional. Number one, it talks of providing support and assistance.

Number two, providing strength and empowerment. The Holy Ghost who is called the helper is also the one who strengthens.

Remember and then number three, providing rescue and deliverance. So every time you say I’m trusting God for help, you must talk intelligently as a believer. Your mind should be broad.

Now you know why it’s important to teach believers truth. It helps your prayer. Prayer is supported by understanding and intelligence.

When you say I receive help, your mind can say I receive assistance and stop there. Whereas what you need is deliverance. So when you are supported by this understanding and you say I receive help, you know what you are saying. You can mean I receive support. I receive assistance. I receive strengthening and empowerment. And then I receive what’s the third one? Rescue and deliverance. Any one of these three elements is translated help.

God helps men. Settle it for a fact. I don’t think we need to draw drag and argue. God helps men.

Isaiah chapter 41:10-14. help you, sayaeth the Lord, and your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.” The Lord bless the reading of his word in Jesus name.

So God helps men. 2 Chronicles chapter 26 and let’s read verse 5, then we jump to verse 15. So his fame spread far and wide for he was marvelously helped till he became strong. Are you seeing that this help now does not talk of deliverance? This one talks of empowerment.

Acts chapter 26 and verse 22. “Having obtained help from the Lord, I continue, I continue the stamina to remain that when the dust settles, you are still standing.”

And they say, “By what means are you still standing? haven’t gone through fire, haven’t gone through water, and you tell them you were marvelously helped of God.

I prophesy to someone in the name of Jesus over your life, over your ministry, 2026 will be the most evident year of God’s health in your life.

I prophesy to a believer 2026 will be the most evident year of God’s health. Even the blind will know you are being carried on the wings of the spirit in the name of Jesus Christ.

1. Number one, every man succeeds in life and destiny to the degree to which they find help. I choose my words carefully. Every man succeeds in life and destiny to the degree to which they find help.

There are many variables that equal success. But among them, a major part of that success pie chart, help is the variable that is needed there.

I’ve seen very intelligent people, very articulate people, very resourceful people, but simply because they lack help, perhaps help as a leverage of endorsement, they can remain stunted, they can remain, you know, in the dark. As far as destiny is concerned.

Every man succeeds in life and in destiny to the degree to which they find help.

2. Second thought, God desires and is willing to help men. God desires, and he is willing to help men. Psalm 121 and verse one.

It’s important for you to not just know that God can help men, but that he desires to help men. It says, “I will lift up my eyes onto the heels.” It says, “From whence cometh my help?” When you read KJV, it presents this as a question. It says, “From whence cometh my help.” And then it says, “My help.” Verse two. My help, not your help. I don’t know where you get yours from. Is a risk to generalize and say our help. Cuz some trust in horses, some trust in chariots.

But my help cometh from the Lord which made heavens and the earth. Is God blessing you already?

Psalm 20. I will read it, but let it be a prayer for you. Psalm 20:1, it just came strong into my spirit. The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble. The name of the God of Jacob defend you. I say it again.

The Lord hear thee. In the day of trouble, the name of the God of Jacob defend you. Verse two. Verse two, send thee. So help is sent. Send thee from his sanctuary.

Are you in his sanctuary tonight? That means you are in the place of help. Send thee help from his sanctuary and strengthen thee out of Zion.

Say, I receive help. Turn it into prayer in one minute. I receive help. Help in ministry. Come on, someone is praying. I receive help in my finances. I receive help over my job. I receive help in the name of Jesus. Men can be helped. The Lord hear in the day of trouble. The God of Jacob defend you. Send thee help in 2026 from his sanctuary. 202. Send thee help. Send thee help. Send thee support. Send thee strength. Send thee deliverance. by his spirit in Jesus matchless name we pray.

So I said that the word El-Ezer, describing the help of God, carries a three-fold dimension. Help as support and assistance, help as empowerment and strengthening, and then help as rescue or deliverance.

And that it’s important for you to know that every man succeeds in life and destiny to the degree to which they find help.

There are people who may not be as gifted. They may not be as as resourceful, but the edge in their life is that they found help. And like you’ll be learning, they found help on time.

And when I describe the character of God’s help, you will be learning that help has timing. Help can come late.

There are two qualities that describe God’s kind of help. You’re making me go ahead of myself. I don’t know what kind of hunger is in this place this night, but don’t tempt me. The Bible said we should resist temptations. Hallelujah.

But just as a teaser, wait for me till I get there. But just for you to know that help can come too late.

That was the reason why the sister of Lazarus cried when Jesus arrived. He said, “Your coming is a waste.” And Jesus said, “Me, I’m the resurrection and the life. I’m not just a healer.” Hallelujah.

Now, when help comes on time, it is called help in time of need. Have you read that in your scripture? Let us therefore come boldly before the throne of grace. I hope God is ministering to someone that we might obtain grace, and find help in time of need.

Help can come after or beyond the time of need. So in prophesying over your life tonight and tomorrow, I’m not just going to pray for help. I will pray that it comes early. He says, “Satisfy me early.” Early.

There are many people who if they had gotten help medically, help financially on time. Come on now.

The man who stayed 38 years, it was not a possibility problem. It was that his help, even though his help was Jesus, he came after 38 years. The man who healed him was not 38 years old. So his trouble started before the arrival of Jesus

Why do we need help?

There are certain uh certain facts that will help to guide our desire for help. If you do not know why you need help, you may not appreciate it when it comes.

1. Number one, the first reason why we need help is that all men even at their best are limited.

The first reason why we need help is that all men even at their best are limited. Very uncomfortable but profound statement. All men even at their best are limited. Psalm 103:14-16. All men even at their best are limited.

The Bible says, “For he knoweth our frame. He rememberth that we are dust.” It’s not an insult. It’s an honest description. It says, “As for man,” watch this, “His days are as grass, as the flower of the field, so he flourisheth.” Verse 16, “For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone, and the place thereof shall know it no more.”

That’s the frailty of man, unassisted by God. So when you find people who are proud in their own strength, you refer them to a scripture like this that the best of man is still limited.

In Jeremiah 10 verse 23, very quickly describes the state of man. It says, “Oh Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself. It is not a man that walketh to direct his steps.

This statement is a very is a great deliverance that it is not a man to direct his steps. No matter how visionary you are, there are some things about your destiny you will not know. It will come as a description of God’s help. Not a product of research, not a product of investigation, not a product of intelligence.

I know that I will the sun, the moon and 11 stars will bow. But that’s how much I know. How I will get there is a mystery only the help of God. When they threw that guy, hunger alone would have destroyed. Can you imagine a vision that powerful you can look at Portifer’s wife? Those are major issues. But hunger would have killed him right in the dry well there. But the help of God caused his brother to say, “You know what? Let’s not kill him. Let’s sell him. Let’s sell him. Let’s sell him. Thank you, Jesus. All men at their best are limited.

2. Number two, why do we need help? If you are learning, shout, “Amen.” The second reason why we need help Human factors like sentiments and biases, like injustice, like greed, like selfishness. Human factors can sometimes alter or negatively affect our results even when you follow the principles correctly.

Human factors, factors like injustice, factors like greed, factors like selfishness, factors like tribal sentiments. It can veto your obedience or principles and still punish you even when you get things right.

Someone can say you are deserving of promotion but because you are Yoruba because you are Hausa or because I fought with your father before he died. How is that your business?

You see that now the reality of human factors is what necessitates helps. It is vain to wake up in the morning. Does that sound like laziness? No. It sounds like diligence. When you wake up in the morning, you are a serious person. When you sleep late at night, you are hardworking. But you can still eat the bread of sorrow..

Let me tell you this. Don’t wait until life teaches you a lesson to know how wicked men can be.

There are times everything can be right on your own part but a man just stands your way and says I don’t like you or I don’t like your father or I don’t like where you come from. You can get 100% in the promotion interview and somebody will keep human factor sir.

There are many people today who should not be in the prison but they are there. There are many people who should be in the prison and they are the ones taking those who should go to the prison there.

You see that help? There are people who have zero financial intelligence yet they have money and they are wasteful while they having it. But there is a system of health that replenishes. And there are diligent people who know what to do with money.

They have the intelligence. They read every book. All they need is the leverage and yet it is not there. Hallelujah.

Listen, don’t feel insulted, but how many of you know there are many irresponsible people who have a US passport? It’s not a product of diligence, they were born there. And as as as much as it is painful, they can still go everywhere that passport can take them. But there are diligent people who were born somewhere else.

At the end of this meeting, you will cry for help with all your heart. You will learn from this teaching that the race is not to the swift, that the battle is not to the strong, nor bread to them who have understanding. Honestly, it is God that shows men mercy.

I have heard people preach and wondered why they are still at that level of ministry based on the level of insights they have.

I’ve seen people one day one time I was returning somewhere from the east and I saw people gathered I think it was in somewhere I saw people gathered around just look like a a you know a Ta junction and I was wondering why they were gathered there. He was a young gentleman who had simulated a Gwagon. He built it and he was test running it. But that gentleman may not go anywhere.

There are many people today who are 130, 120, they are still alive. But simply because they don’t know them, they are not in the Guinness book of record. The person who is there is not is not the truth, but he’s the one they know.

Hallelujah. Human factors, sir. Human factors, sir. Human factors.

3. Number three, the reality of Satan and demonic forces. The third reason why you need help, unfortunately, Satan is alive. He’s still alive. Demons are still alive and they are not alive lazing around. They are visionary with a project to thwart everything God about your destiny.

The reality of Satan and demonic forces, alongside their determination to fight your destiny. is an adversary.

He says, “I will build my church.” Then he says, “And the gates of hell.” The gates of hell is an is a description of the infrastructure of Satan. Build bespoke to destroy the destiny of the saints. Hallelujah.

The Bible talks about a young boy called Jabez. It starts that story with the end. Then it now tells us the context. He says, “And Jabez was more honorable than his brethren.” But what happened? The Bible says the mother bore him in sorrow and she named him Jabez. He was not a good name. It was a description of her pain and it followed him.

One day he got angry. He said, “Oh, that thou would have blessed me.” 1 Chronicles 4:10 KJV

There’s the story of the man who was crippled from birth. Crippled from where? So it’s not the issue of you didn’t fight anybody. They even asked Jesus. They say, “Come on, this is not fair. Who’s seeing that this man was born blind? Was it him or his father? You have to explain to us why someone just arrives and arrives with blindness. Arrives and arrives crippled.

The man at gate beautiful was crippled from birth. I understand the man who maybe lived a riotous life like the prodigal son then found himself feeding with swine. But what do you say about the person who was born that way? Demonic forces sir. Demonic forces.

Did you hear in your Bible that when Jesus was born there was a cry in Rama? Women lost their children because a savior was born. Why should people die because a savior arrived? I thought the arrival of the savior should even redeem lives. And because a savior arrived, CHILDREN HIS AGE MADE TWO YEARS AND ABOVE THEY DIED. So if you were Jesus’s age mate, because you were his agemate, you will die. You didn’t do anything wrong. You were just born together with a savior. I’m walking your mind for a reason.

Let me tell you, ladies and gentlemen, when you look at this world, you see that many things don’t balance. Am I right on that? Some of you came to church angry. You’ve been angry for the past two weeks. God sent me to give you perspective. What kind of father? What kind of mother? You see that now? And then demonic forces have ministered healing and ministered deliverance to many people. Beautiful lady, handsome gentleman. But because of where you come from or because of those connected to you, demonic forces are real.

So you need help. Help as deliverance. Help as deliverance. It says I have heard the cry of my people by reason of their task masters and I AM COME DOWN TO DELIVER them for someone in the name of Jesus. This is the night you will wave goodbye to certain calamities in the name of Jesus Christ. every pattern insulting the grace of God, mocking the dignity of your life as a Christian in the name of Jesus. It is buried tonight forever.

There’s nobody in Africa, Nigeria, I know except your parents or grandparents paid the price before your arrival. But the average person when you arrive you will first deal with what was older than you first before you start living your life. And if you are not careful you will finish that battle when you are 50. That’s when you will now start living your own life. Yes sir.

That you arrive and the battle you are fighting is older than you. It was there. Your father could not fight it and he was waiting for you. You arrive and you are fighting and if in ignorance you keep pushing and by the time maybe you are 40 or 50 then you are done with it then you now turn back and say okay let me leave my life and you find out there’s no time again.

I pray for you may help come on time may help come on time oh in the name of Jesus say I receive help again I receive Help.

SAY, “I RECEIVE HELP.”

We need help because men are limited. We need help because men are wicked. We need help because Satan is ever determined to fight the program of God.

Can I tell you when God was revealing the blueprint of your destiny to you, you were not the only one hearing.

There was an invisible audience paying attention to what God said concerning your life. Satan had the verdict that you are called to be Esther. Satan also had the verdict that you are called to be a deliverer. Did you hear what I said?

When your mother was praying and saying, “Lord, I give you this my daughter for your glory.” Satan had the conversation. And let me tell you, Satan is a patient spirit. He can wait 30 years till you grow.

So don’t think you are not praying, you are not fasting, but I don’t sense any oppression. It’s because you are not doing anything serious. Satan is dealing with serious people while waiting for you to grow. The day you now give your life to Christ, that’s the day you have a strange dream and the spirit said, “Well, you have struck a cord in the spirit. I was there to stop your father. I was there to stop your mother and now we are here.” And if you do not understand the appropriation system in the kingdom to appropriate in your life what is finished in Christ, you’ll be surprised how your life just nose dives. That’s why you hear a lot of people say as an unbeliever, I was fine. Satan did not oppress me once I got born again. Of course you think he waste energy. Why will he attack you when you belong to him?

He that does not have his spirit is none of his.

I’m provoking you tonight and I’m praying for you that what happened to me will happen to you. That you get angry. You look at your life and cry for help.

Hallelujah. It’s time for some doors to open.

Let me tell you this, ladies and gentlemen. Everything you tolerate, you have given it the authorization to remain in your life.

As I’m speaking to you, I like you look at your life. Look at your parents. Look at your family. Tonight’s discussion is not just to sit down and feel, OH, I’M NO, NO, NO. LOOK AT THINGS IN YOUR LIFE. If it does not represent the glory of God, then brace up so that when it’s time to pray, you pray seriously. Pray seriously. Pray seriously.

People rise up just when they’re about to celebrate their success, they go down. You watch those before you. Some of them WERE SERIOUS PEOPLE BUT THEY DID NOT HAVE INTELLIGENCE MORE SERIOUS THAN YOU SPIRITUALLY AND THEY STILL WENT DOWN. WHAT MAKES YOU BELIEVE THAT BY DEFAULT WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING EVEN THE understanding of the help OF GOD?

NATHANIEL LOOKED AT JESUS. HE SAID FORGET ABOUT THIS GUY. YOU ARE CALLING ME TO FOLLOW JESUS. IF HE’S A NAZARENE I WILL not follow him. They don’t have longevity of impact. He said, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” It was a CURSE UPON THEM ASK SAMSON. SO WHEN THEY SAID ANOTHER CELEBRITY HAS SHOWN UP SAID, “FORGET IT. HE WILL not last.” There is something that follows them. They shine for a season. And either a woman or whatever brings them down. He said, “Don’t waste my time.” And Jesus said, “Don’t insult Nathaniel. He’s an Israelite indeed.” He’s not telling lies. He’s not telling lies. How long did Jesus last? Three and a half years in ministry is only that he died purposely.

Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in you. Let the weak say I am strong. In the strength. Hallelujah.

Glory be to God. The help of God even though he works through men but there are certain features that brand the help of God.

When God is helping a man, you can verify that it is God helping that man using these parameters:

1. Number one, God’s help, even though it may look late, but it is always timely. God’s help is always timely. Hebrews 4 verse 16

He calls it help in time of need. Help in time of need. I told you earlier on that help can come too late. Still remember it is true that help can come too late.

2. Number two, help can come as at a level that does not contribute significantly in providing solutions.

So number one that help can come too late but number two help can come at a level that is insignificant.

I’ll give you an example. If you are looking for a house rent of 5 million and I give you 1,000 naira and I said just buy recharge card with it and make calls in truth I helped you but that help is not significant relative to the issue.

So you don’t just need help to come on time. It must come to the degree that makes an impact.

Many people saw the man at Bethesda. Some said, “How are you, sir?” The fact that he could not move his leg and he lived 38 years meant someone was kind enough to give him food. Someone was kind enough to take him to the toilet. Remember the Bible said the man could not move. He was there 38 years. I am sure that someone was kind. It was customary those days to help the people.

For instance, you’ll see perspective of this in Acts chapter 3. The man who was carried daily and brought back. So when the Bible says he was there, it didn’t just mean he was by the sea forever. It just meant that was his condition. They would carry him there. The man had to eat. The man had to go to toilet. The man had to bath. Someone helped him but not enough to heal him.

So you see in praying for help, you don’t just pray for any kind of help. It must be significant enough to provide an impact in your life.

So you are looking for in financial terms to help you 10 million or you are trusting God for someone to speak over your destiny and someone just gives you he just counsels you. You don’t counsel demons out of people. But the person has helped. He did the best that he or she could do.

Help must come on time and it must come to the degree that provides a significant impact as far as your needs are concerned.

You have five children. You want to pay their school fees. And someone says, “Well, I’m sorry. I can’t I can’t help you with their school fees, but I can give you 5 kg bag of rice. At least feed them.” You will say, “Thank you.” Because as far as that person’s capacity is concerned, that is help. But it doesn’t add anything so much.

You will now see the reason why the disciples spited the young lad’s bread. There were 5,000 people and they were looking for. You remember when the young lad brought five loaves and four fish? They said, “Well, thank you, but what is this compared to AMONG SO MANY PEOPLE? 5,000 MEN ASIDE, women and children, and you’re bringing five loaf and two fish.” Sounds silly, isn’t it? Jesus said, “Let them sit down. They will still eat.

Oh, your season has come.” Oh, hallelujah?

I want to show you how God helps men. There are in my study there’s at least five channels through which God helps men and some of the channels are compressed together. Because it’s important for you to know how God helps not just that he helps.

How God helps Men:

1. Number one, the first way God helps men is through supernatural intervention. It’s an act of his mercy. Supernatural intervention. Daniel chapter 3 from verse 24. I want to show you the scripture. This was Shedrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Remember the story? They were cast into the fiery furnace. It was not a man that helped them.

The Bible says the likeness of the fourth was like the son of man. Remember it says, “Fear not, for I’ve redeemed you. I have called you by name. When you walk through the fire, I will be there.” Nebuchadnezzar was astonished and rose up in haste and spake and said to the counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?” And they said, “Oh king, that’s true 25.”

He answered, “Lo, I see four men loose walking in the midst of the fire. They have no hurt. And the form of the fourth is like the son of God. Verse 26. Nebuchadnezzar came and said, “Shedra, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the most high, come forth and come he then they came out in the midst of the fire.” 27. And the princes, the governors, and all those men, they saw them.

It says, “Men upon whose body the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither their coats changed, nor the smell of the fire upon them.” Verse 28. Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Blessed be the God of Shedra, Meshach, and Abednego, who had sent his angel.”

The word angel there is literally is God, not just his angel, like an angel who came. And delivered his servants that trusted in him. We don’t trust in angels like that. They are ministering spirits. And have changed the king’s word and yielded their body that they might not serve or worship God. And then the decree came in verse 29.

The point is that God helps men by intervening supernaturally. The scripture I was looking for in Deuteronomy says that God by the breath of his nostrils, he brought deliverance to the nation of Israel. So God brings help by supernatural intervention.

2. Number two, very quickly, the second way God helps men is through the ministry of angels. Hebrews chapter 1 and verse 14. The ministry of angels. Hebrews chapter 1 and verse14.

Are they not all ministering spirits? The Bible says they are sent forth to minister for them who shall be the heirs of salvation.

The ministry of angels in Genesis chapter 19. But that was the story of Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah. Remember when rescue was coming to Lot, it was angels that were sent. Am I right? And when the angels, they came in the form of men. And when the sodomites saw them, they entered Lot’s house to bring him out before calamity would strike.

The Bible says the men came and knocked the door. You see how crazy those guys were? They said, “Open the door. Where are these angels that we may know them?” And Lord said, “Don’t bring this embarrassment of I will even give you my daughters.” They said, “No.” And the Bible says the angels pulled Lot in and struck the people with blindness and they wearied themselves in front of the door.

The ministry of angels. Acts chapter 12, when you read from verse 1 to 11, the Bible tells us that Herod made up his mind to vex certain of the Jews and he caught James and beheaded James. And when he saw that it pleased the Jews. Is that true? The Bible says he now caught Peter and kept him and with a quatanion of soldiers waiting that after the Passover he will hand him over to the Jews.

The Bible says the night he was kept there, but prayer was made unto God by the church for Peter. And then the Bible says in response to that prayer, angels came, light was shown into the prison. The chains fell off and the angel began to lead him out.

God is sending his angel your way.

He led Peter through the first court, led him through the second court, and the Bible says he came to the iron gates that opens up to the city. And when he led Peter, Peter confessed something that I want to pray for you.

Give us Acts 12 and 11. Let me turn it into prayer for someone. Everybody read please. This is a powerful prayer. And when Peter was come to himself, he said, “Now I know of a shorty that the Lord had sent his angel, listen, and had delivered me.” Number one, out of the HAND OF HEROD. NUMBER TWO, out of the expectation. He was delivered FROM TWO THINGS. ONE, OUT OF THE HAND OF HEROD. Number two, out of the expectation.

God does not just deliver you from trouble. He delivers you from the expectation of the wicked. They expect you to cry. They expect you to fail. It has not HAPPENED YET. BUT WHY do the people imagine a vain thing?

I know for a shorty he sent his angels to deliver me from Herod and deliver me from the expectations. So there were those who were there. They look harmless, but they had a desire. Their wish is to see you cry. God can deliver you from the expectation. The ministry of angels.

How about Jesus himself in Matthew chapter 4, the Bible tells us when he was done, when Satan tempted him, number one, number two, number three, he rebuked Satan. He left him for a season and the angels came and ministered to him. Even Jesus was ministered to by the angels.

3. Number three, what is the third way God helps men?. Now the ministry of men. The ministry of men. Ah the third and very major way God helps sends his help to a man is through the ministry of men. Psalm 115 and verse 16.

The heaven of heavens belong to the Lord but the earth hath he given to the children of men. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the world of men. The heaven of heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

There are various categories of men in the Bible who represent different dimensions of help.

Now, when we talk about help through the ministry of men, it’s a very complex dimension of God’s help.

There are many categories of men in the Bible who represent various aspects of the ministry of men.

• You can talk about the bizles and the ohilables. Ohabs and the biselles creativity. They came in.
• Talk about the Jethros. Moses’s father-in-law remember he counseled him. As anointed as Moses was, he would have died before his time. Even though he still died, I don’t know if it was before his time, but at least he lived longer because Jethro advised him and said, “You’re on your way to your grave.”
• How about the wine presser? As anointed and gifted as Joseph was, it took someone to say, “I remember my wrong this day. Oh king, there is a man you need to pay attention to.”
• How about the slave girl? The little girl who was held captive and went to the house of Nan and she said, “Oh, that my master would listen to me.” She attended to Nam’s wife. Thank God Namaan listened to her and that’s how he got his healing.
• How about Aaron and hur holding the hands of Moses so that victory sustaining battle
• How about the Jonathans?
• How about the Rahabs who hid the spies?
• How about Naomi who captured Ruth? I’m not sure Ruth would have had the patience to wait till she met Boaz, but I’m sure Naomi counseled her. When she came and said, “A man treated me favorably.” She said, “Aha, I see those signs.” Now, behave yourself. As you go there, this, this, this, and that. It didn’t just happen because it was the will of God. Someone’s counsel played a role. It’s true.

God presents the opportunity. Counsel helps you to manage and maximize the opportunity.

YOU CAN BLOW up an opportunity that was sent by God and God says, “I’ve done my best for you. You had me, but you did not hear counselors.

It was your hearing me that brought the opportunity, but counselors help you to manage the opportunity.” Naomies.

How about Boaz himself? Boaz was a helper. He was a good man. When he saw the young lady, he said, “Make sure nobody harasses this lady. Leave some part for her to clean.” This is without knowing she will be his wife.

Let me tell you this. If you are only good to the person you want to marry, you are not a good person. If your goodness is not lavish enough, then it has sentiments and biases in it. You hate everybody except the person you love. Something is wrong with your understanding of love.

You give, you don’t give to anybody and then you zoom down one lady or one guy. You are not a giver. You are an investor. You’re a businessman and it will be a bad investment. Hallelujah.

• Now, how about Joshua’s? The Joshua who stood with Moses.
• Now, strangely, how about Cyrus’s and Pharaohs? Cyruses and Pharaohs, two men you should never play with. Cyrus and Pharaoh are endorsers.

They are the kind of gatekeepers you cannot cast away. God grants you favor to walk through them. Binding and casting them is a useless prayer because God respects their position. Cyruses and Pharaohs.

It took Pharaoh to promote Joseph and there are Cyruses they you see God’s ideal is not to work with unbelievers but where believers are not ready and if their unreiness will fight his program he will route through his wisdom and use Cyruses

That’s why the Bible says honor all men because you don’t know which Cyrus is part of your program if you honor only believers you will be surprised that your is HONOR TO THE ONE PERSON THAT’S THE ONE PERSON THAT THE anointing is on.

Daniel did not serve Nebuchadnezzar’s God. But he honored Nebuchadnezzar. Don’t tell me your place of work is so pungent. Learn from Daniel. He had an excellent spirit, a stainless track record, and yet he was impactful.

The various ministry of men judases Judas.

When God is aportioning people to you if it is God himself that sent Judas don’t drive him oh remember it was not a demon that brought Judas God selected the disciples and selected Judas

There are certain adversaries that are the initi ation for glory. And if God were to leave you to choose yourself, you would drive it.

So, Joseph, on your way to your brothers, you will see a well somewhere there. Don’t close that well. Although you will be in it, but it’s necessary for your destiny.

Can I tell you this? If I am to choose my path to life, I will not arrive. You know why? because many of the things that have carried me now in the spirit of Judas’s I would have fought them spiritually and God said no it’s in my wisdom I know how to walk all things will Jesus ever manifest redemption without Judas no.

It is amazing that it was not Satan that selected Judas Jesus fasted all night and saw Judas knew his name the son of perdition, and said come join them.

Let me tell you ladies and gentlemen it is the reason why that prayer thy will be done is a powerful prayer because if you are to select the variables for your own destiny the way we are as men you will select people who love you too much to let you emerge.

Their love for you is why you will never manifest destiny. They love you too much. When you about to fast they say again nothing challenging you whether you sow or not they will bring a harvest to you. So you will not respect the law of seat time and harvest.

When God is positioning you for destiny when you see John receive him. When you see Peter receive him when you see Judas receive him.

Apostle, but I know he’s Judas. Still keep him there. You don’t drive every Judas. No. Just because he’s Judas does not mean you drive him. There is a purpose. This is very powerful.

Now you understand why the Bible says, “For we know that all things, all things, ladies and gentlemen, all things. Anybody who does not like me, I WILL DRIVE HIM OUT OF Be careful. Be careful.

Many people who don’t like you will be the reason why you rise.

The reason why you pray, the reason why you watch your step, you know there’s someone praying. He will get up in the morning and he’s HAS SOMETHING HAPPENED TO HER. I’VE BEEN WAITING. I THOUGHT BY NOW SOMETHING SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED TO HER. They keep you in check.

The Holy Spirit comes or the angel comes to meet a woman and says, “You are highly favored.” And yet nothing in her life looked like favor. As soon as he was done announcing, IT WAS TROUBLE. FIRST THE GUY TO MARRY HER SAID I’m going. You have to explain to me this all this talk. You and God and explain. I don’t know what to tell the rabbi the sanhendrin and all of that. You say you’re a virgin. Your stomach is protruding. I’m the closest man to you. I don’t want stories. I been a a carpenter. I’ve been diligent.

THEN YOU NOW GIVE BIRTH TO THE CHILD and the guy I don’t know what she told him that he later agreed. Now then because of census an angel says run away with THE CHILD. YOU SEE ALL THE CONTROVERSY AROUND HIM. HE SAID THIS IS too much burden for a child that did not come from me.

That’s why Abraham just drove Ishmael and said please go leave me let me have my own. Are you getting the point now? And yet he called it favor. Look at me.

Let me teach you something about favor. One of the ways God favors you sometimes is to let you have a scar only you will have. Because that scar becomes the only reason why they will listen to only you.

There are certain platforms that you will not climb because of skill. You will climb because you are the only one who has that scar.

Your access to certain platforms will not be your brain. It will be your pain. It’s true. I’m not just doing rhetoric with words. It’s true.

Have you suffered enough to teach me about success? Have you been oppressed enough? Else I don’t trust your compassion.

No wonder the Bible says we do not have a high priest. You see that Jesus was in every way tempted. He submitted himself. I always wondered why he had to become a man and then go through all I understand. He would have just become a man, die in two weeks. He would have become an adult. HE’S STILL A MAN. DIE IN TWO WEEKS AND return back quietly. If you know, you know. If you don’t know, you don’t know. But he came as a child, went through all those things.

You take what the enemy meant for evil and you turn it for good. That’s your testimony.

Let me tell you this. There are two reasons why I respect people:

1. One because of their crowns. Is a testament of diligence, endurance, discipline, adherence to principles.
2. But the second reason why I respect them is because of their scars.

When you are learning from great people, don’t just learn from the crowns alone. Learn from the scars.

There is a lesson only the scars can teach. The crown cannot teach it.

So when you look at Jesus, your eyes should not just go to his head alone. Make sure you look at his hands too. There is a reason why even though he’s in heaven glorified, the scar will not heal. The scar will remain there. It’s a testament. No one has it like him. There are martyrs in heaven, but not the one who was crucified for the sin of anyone.

Let me tell you this. Many things you are ashamed of today will be the reason why men will respect you tomorrow.

Don’t rush seasons in your life. Don’t rush seasons. God gives speed, but he does not rush men. You went through a season, no school fees. You went through a season, no house rent.

In fact, let me tell you this. One of the ways God raises saviors is to allow them taste of the things they would deliver people from. That way, you will have compassion.

God wants to raise you as a kingdom financier. I’m telling you, you will go through seasons where you will do everything right and yet the heavens to be closed financially. You will taste what it means to be at the rock bottom. When you rise there, that that that memory will be edged. You will become an anchor that sponsors compassion.

Compassion can’t be theoretical. It’s from your pain. You’ll say, “I’ve been there before. I know what it means.”

Apostle? So, are you saying that everything I’ve gone through, I lost my father last year. I lost my father this year. It may not have been the will of God, but God can still use it and birth his glory.

Nothing in the life of a believer is a waste. If you can hand it over, put it in your alabaster box. Don’t just put the perfume, put the pain too. Put everything there and break it before him.

When you are serving the alabaster box, don’t just carry your incense, YOUR NO, NO. CARRY EVERYTHING. THE PAIN, the tears. The woman worshiped with her tears. She worshiped with her hair. She worshiped with her past. SHE WORSHIPED WITH HER PAIN. SHE WORSHIPED WITH HER WEALTH. THAT’S WHAT MADE IT THROUGH WORSHIP. The ministry of men. We are still talking about the ministry of men.

Men will minister to you at three levels. Let me teach you this before we pray. Men will minister to you at three levels.

1. Number one, there will be men who are above you. Coaches, mentors, endorsers. There will always be men who are above you.

The ministry of men who are above you in receiving help now. They come as coaches. They come as mentors. They come as endorsers. Men of influence.

2. Number two, men who are at your level. They will come as allies. They will come as friends. They will come as encouragers. They will come as contemporaries.

3. Number three, And then men who are below you. They will come as aids. They will come as ordinary men. They will come as critics.

All of them together create the formation for your receiving help from men. So help comes from men at three levels.

Let me repeat that again. Men who are above you, your coaches, your mentors, your endorsers.

There is a way to relate with them. There are men who are your contemporaries, your allies, your friends. There is a way to relate with them.

There are those who are below you. They are aids who help you. There is a way to relate with them.

The way you relate with Pharaoh is not the way you relate with the slave girl. The way you relate with Jonathan.

You need to know how to relate with these people at the various levels. It’s very important.

How God helps Men:

Number four, the fourth way God helps men, The prophetic.

Now the prophetic is through the ministry of men too but I isolated it differentl. Hosea 12 and verse 13 the Bible says and by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt and by a prophet he was established the prophetic.

The prophetic as a ministry is one of God’s system.

The Bible says, “We see not our signs. There is no prophet. There is none that knoweth how long.”

When God wants to send help, especially help as empowerment and help as deliverance, he will often use the prophetic. It’s very, very important.

The fifth way God helps men is through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the helper himself.

And this we can spend all night discussing the Holy Spirit, but let me give you just two scriptures. Psalm 18 and verse 29. God can help men to advance in life. It says, “For by you I can run through a troop, and by my God I have leaped over a wall.”

There’s no man who can run through a troop. Ladies and gentlemen, a troop represents the size of people in this place. The difference is that they are all armed, well-armed, some with chariots and horses and weapons of war, veterans of war. What is the possibility of me beating everybody here? Even if you just lie down, I’m to beat you. I will still be tired.

And he says, “By you, I can run through a troop.” And then by my God, I can leap over a wall.

It’s a metaphor to describe the extent of victory that it does not matter how things are, you will still fish your way out. And it’s by the help of God.

Your pastor today is a testament of the help of God. The transforming church is a testament of the help of God. This man who stands before you is a product of God’s mercy and help.

Every man you have seen who has risen in righteousness and in truth. It is by the agency of God’s help.

Ladies and gentlemen, I believe that God placed this burden in the heart of Reverend Sam for your sake, for our sakes, because you are stepping into a season where the reality that is befalling the world will necessitate your understanding of the help of God.

This is the year when if you understand this teaching, there will be a clear distinction, a clear demarcation between those who serve God and those who have through spiritual intelligence known how to access the help.

There are keys. Help does not just come, it is sent.

Can we spend one minute to pray in the spirit and then we wrap up? begin to give God thanks if you got anything from this teaching tonight.

El-ezah helped by God. Helped by God. marvelously helped by God. Someone pray and thank him because you are stepping into a season where it will not be you alone.

The helper is coming your way showing you mercy, showing you help.

By you I have run through a troop. By my God I leap over a wall. Supernatural possibilities.

By the help of God. haven’t obtained help from the Lord, I continue this day. In Jesus name we pray. In Jesus name we pray.

Just one prayer point for tonight. Father by your mercy, send me help speedily. By your mercy, send me help speedily.

Pray passionately. Pray seriously. SEND ME HELP SPEEDILY. Send me help. Oh God, send me help. Oh God, I am incapacitated.

Send me help, oh God. Someone go ahead and pray. Cry for help.

Send me help by your spirit. Send me help by your spirit.

Let help come as divine assistance. Let help come as the strengthening in my inner man so that I will not turn aside in the day of battle.

Let strength come. Let help come as the staying power, the stamina to stay, to remain till I finish.

Let help come as rescue, timely deliverance, deliverance from calamities, deliverance from expectations. Are you praying?
