Part 1: Empowered Part 1 by Apostle Selman

There are two ways that God remedies delay:

1. Restoration
2. Speed.

When God wants to break the chain and the yoke of delay, he orchestrates one, restoration, and two, speed.

Speed over your life.

Speed over your destiny.

Speed over your life.

Speed over your destiny. I release you.

Step into a realm of speed.

Speed in business.

Speed in ministry, speed in career. The siege is broken. The embargo is broken. The siege is broken.

Say father in the name of Jesus name and by power I advance I advance. I advance.

I advance. I make progress. No stagnation in my life.

I advance. I go forward. I increase. in Jesus name we pray. Amen.

One final prayer. Say, “Father, Father, fresh fire, fresh fire from heaven, from heaven, let it rest on my head.”

Say, “Father, fresh oil from heaven, let it rest on my head.”

Say, “Father, the mantle for my destiny from heaven, let it rest on my life.”

Open your mouth and pray. Fresh fire. Fresh oil. Fresh grace. Fresh fire. Fresh oil. Fresh grace on my head, on my destiny, on my ministry, on my business. In Jesus name we pray.

The Bible says the shouts of joy and victory shall not depart from the tent of the righteous. One of the indices that measure the presence of the kingdom is joy.

• And so I want to pray for you. When God gives a prophetic word like this is because he’s opening doors and he’s bringing you into prophetic seasons.
• And so for two of you, I use you as a point of contact, I stretch my hand. Let this grace rest on you. That sadness of any and all sort by the anointing, I release you from it now in the name of Jesus Christ. that though weeping endures for the night, I stretch my hands upon you by faith and I declare welcome to your morning, your season of joy. Welcome to your morning. I release that grace upon you in the name of Jesus.

We said the assignment of power and authority in the kingdom is to:

1. Give witness to the lordship of Jesus and by that bring many to salvation. Acts 4:33 KJV
The first and ultimate assignment of power any and all kinds of spiritual empowerment whether it’s power to get wealth whether it’s transformative power it doesn’t matter what dimension once you access power from God the purpose:

• Is to give witness to the lordship of Jesus and to bring many to salvation

2. To advance the course of the kingdom God’s agenda upon the earth.

The second assignment of power in the kingdom to advance the cause of the kingdom.

3. To live a victorious Christian life while serving the purposes of the kingdom to live a victorious Christian life.

God wants us to live victorious. And it takes power among the many resources that have been given the believer for your victory. It takes power.

Now, thanks be to God who causes us always to triumph.

For instance, the power to get wealth.

For instance, the lifting power, supernatural power in all of its ramifications.

The power helps us to live victorious Christian lives. Amen.

Anointing:

The word anointing and power go hand in hand really uh from a Bible standpoint.

Once you talk about the power of the Holy Ghost, it is generically known as the anointing.

So notice that power in the kingdom it’s a function of your encounter with the Holy Ghost.

You cannot receive authentic spiritual power outside of your partnership with the Holy Ghost.

You can have access to dimensions of God’s power demonically without a relationship with God nor a relationship with the Holy Ghost.

But you cannot access God’s power for his function legitimately. The Holy Spirit is the custodian of the power of the Godhead.

The Holy Spirit is the custodian of the power of the Godhead.

Every business of power among the Godhead resides within the office of the Holy Spirit.

That’s why even after Jesus had taught them for three and a half years, they were not ignorant. It was no longer a knowledge problem. He said, “Tarry until you be endued with power.”

Luke 1:34:35 KJV

Everywhere you see authentic power from God, there must be the mention of the Holy Spirit. Micah 3:8 KJV.

Once it has to do with spiritual empowerment. The business of the anointing is of the Holy Spirit.

Spiritual power that is of God is by the Holy Ghost.

You cannot access genuine spiritual power outside of a functional relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Now, you can access other dimensions of God’s power by routing a demonic means, familiar spirits, spirits of divination, all kinds of yolks of darkness.

All power belongs to God. If power works anywhere even in the kingdom of darkness, it is God’s power manipulated.

Because his power is invested at three levels:

1. The highest level of God’s power comes through intimacy.

You will need a relationship to draw that dimension of power.

2. But the second level of power does not need a relationship. It needs understanding and compliance to laws and principles.

A second dimension of God’s power is invested in laws and principles.

You don’t have to be a Christian for it to work for you.

You don’t need a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Yes. An unbeliever reproduction happens because of the power of God in that process.

The only process in the believer’s life that glorifies God is the process that is engineered and sustained by the Holy Spirit.

Only the Holy Spirit in partnership with the believer in function can bring glory to God.

Any other spirit that comes in partnership with the human spirit even if the results are accurate the glory it cannot glorify God

So that as believers you don’t just focus on results in the kingdom we don’t focus on results we focus on the glorification of the Christ

So the results can be accurate but if it is sponsored by a spirit outside of the spirit of God even if the results are accurate if I use the spirit of divination and I prophesy to you. Even if the prophecy is right, you may seem to be happy but God is not glorified.

Because for God to be glorified, the spirit of God, Must be the initiator and the sustainer of that process.

So that you don’t just chase everything around because it produces result. Acts 18 KJV

The way God empowers men is:

1. First to call you to himself.

And the official way God calls men to himself is through the gospel.

The gospel is the way God calls people to himself.

When God calls you, he does not call you to a ministry. He calls you to himself. When you come to him in salvation, he does an inner work of transformation.

So from salvation, it goes to transformation. From transformation, then you get to empowerment. When you are empowered, he now sends you. In sending you, he defines for you the geography of your assignment, what you call your commission. Then you receive the empowerment that follows that commission.

So when God wants to use a man, a people, a nation, the first thing he does is to give you access to the gospel. The gospel is how men come into the kingdom.

A declaration of the love of the father expressed in and through the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus. That is the gospel.

You find a concise description of the gospel in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, John 3:16, Romans 10:8-10.

All of this together give you a picture of the gospel, a declaration of the father’s love that was revealed in and through the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus.

That sacrifice captured within it, his earthwork, his death, his burial, his resurrection, his ascension and his exaltation. It’s important that all these details be captured. His incarnation, in fact, his earthwork, his death, his burial, his resurrection, his ascension, and then his exaltation, a declaration of that, then your believing it with your heart, confessing his lordship. Acts 2 KJV

So he brings you by granting you access to the gospel. Now when you come into the kingdom, there is a name for you.

The Bible calls you a babe, an infant. So once you begin that journey as an infant, he said as little children, babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that by it you might grow.

The moment you get saved, he introduces you to three ministries:

• The ministry of the Holy Spirit.
• The ministry of the word.
• The ministry of a teaching priest, a pastor. Very important.

If you are saved and nobody guides you further to help introduce for you the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the ministry of the Holy Scripture, and the ministry of a man of God, a teaching priest.

If you don’t have these three ministries, the journey of transformation cannot happen.

And this is why we have a lot of problems in church. So you find people who are saved but they are not discipled. They do not understand the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Like Acts 8:19 KJV

So when you are saved, you don’t inherit maturity. Even if you were a celebrity before getting born again, even if you are 70 years before getting born again, growth in the kingdom is not a gift. It’s a process.

You don’t inherit your crowns outside of the kingdom. When you come into the kingdom, honor will be given to you. But your official name, if you are saved, whether you’re a president, a senator, a governor, even if you’ve been around church for all your life, the moment you get saved for the first time, you are an infant.

Then the Holy Spirit, the word of God in partnership with a man of God, a teaching priest, now begins to groom you structurally, methodically, you get to the phase of transformation.

What does that mean? The work of regeneration and transformation happens. Your mind is recalibrated, re-edited. Romans 12:1, Philippians 5:5-10, he’s giving you the mind of Christ by scripture.

When you get to a point of transformation and enlightenment, then you move to the next phase called empowerment.

At that point, the Holy Ghost now begins to empower you and define for you the jurisdiction of your assignment.

Then the anointing for your assignment is released upon you and then you begin to function by the spirit of God.

Praise the name of the Lord. Amen.

Every believer in Christ has access to the empowerment of the spirit to make you an effective witness.

Every believer once you come into Christ based on the authority of scripture, you have access to the empowerment of the spirit for the purpose of being an effective witness.

But one thing I need to teach you tonight is that access does not equal possession.

In Christ, you have access, but you must know how to translate access to possession.

So you need to know how to go to the right place and the right dynamics, your participatory dynamics to make it your possession.

Acts 10:38. How God anointed Jesus

He didn’t anoint himself. He submitted to the authority of the father and in response he received the anointing.

Anoint:

The word anoint means to legitimize your operation.

When we say a man has been anointed to function it means that you have been authorized legitimized to function.

But for the believer, the anointing is more than legitimate or making it legitimate.

It’s also the empowerment that equips you to be able to perform that role effectively.

• The anointing I define here as God’s ability at work in a human or material vessel to accomplish his purposes and to produce supernatural results.
• God’s ability at work in a human or material vessel to accomplish his purposes and to produce supernatural results.

Why do we need the anointing?

The first reason why we need the anointing or empowerment from heaven

• Is to subdue the forces of darkness that fight against our destinies and the advancement of the kingdom.
  The first reason why we need the anointing, why we need supernatural empowerment is to subdue the forces.
  There are demonic forces that fight the fulfillment of our destinies and the advancement of God’s program.
  And it takes the anointing to establish in experience the victory that is in Christ that was wrought in Christ. It’s been finished in Christ as a spiritual reality. However, we must have the wherewithal to stamp that victory because if there’s anything you need to learn early about Satan is that he’s a stubborn spirit. He does not just yield because the Bible says so. It will take power. Psalm 66:3 KJV, Isaiah 10:27 KJV.
• To fulfill our God-given assignments effectively.
  The second reason, to fulfill our God-given assignments effectively.
  Skill, intellect and all these human resources are wonderful but they are not sufficient enough to fulfill your God-ordained assignment.
  There are times you can be so skillful you can have all of the human connections but the truth is that God’s assignment require his dimension of empowerment.

The anointing is in various levels and the anointing is in various dimensions.

Then the anointing is in dimensions. The meaning of that is that the anointing is not general purpose. So you can’t say I’ve been anointed for everything.

So just because you are anointed does not necessarily mean you can do everything.

You can receive a dimension that is still foreign to your life.

Having the healing anointing can empower you but it does not mean you have the power to prosper.

So you can have the healing anointing healing the sick that’s a dimension. And truthfully speaking, you can be so bankrupt in another area.

How do you know the anointing is at work in a man?

By the possibilities that follow.

There are possibilities that if they are not captured in your life, the grace for it is not there. Full stop.

You can assume it is there. But if it is there, it is there. If it is not there, it is not there.

You can carry the healing anointing but not have the favor of God on your life. And the difference will be very clear. Is the reason why pride and arrogance is a dangerous thing because you can be excelling in a dimension of the kingdom and fail woefully at another dimension. Woefully so. It’s true.

When God wants to help a man, he introduces you to the graces that are needed so that with hunger you would draw into your heart.

You can be a sincere person. You have the grace and the anointing. You are prophesying, but you don’t have the grace for revelation.

There are two kinds of anointings:

1 John 2:20 KJV, 1 John 2:27 KJV

1. The anointing within

Is an engracing that comes with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and is responsible for the inner work of character and conformity to the image of Christ.

The anointing within is by the Holy Ghost. It comes together with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and is responsible.

This one does not bring empowerment. Is responsible for the inner work of character and conformity to the image of Christ.

This is the anointing that produces the fruit of the spirit.

Before you receive the anointing upon God’s emphasis is that you receive the anointing within.

So you find many anointed people with no character. As soon as they stand on stage, they become a casualty. a little exposure with with fame, money, whatever, and they fall like a pack of card.

A major part of the Holy Spirit’s work is not empowering you for service. Is doing that inner work within you so that you confirm in experience.

If you don’t stay with the spirit to walk upon you and you graduate yourself from the school of the spirit and route your way to receive the anointing, it will be a disservice to your own self.

The assignment of that anointing is to walk in partnership with the spirit of God to kill the flesh, to deaden the flesh. Appetite for worldly lusts. It’s a journey.

Oh, it’s not something that happens overnight. It’s a journey. Even when you become empowered, that work does not stop. It’s only at different levels.

How God works on people?

You know when God wants to build you, he builds just like the anointing in levels.

So he can work out a level of consecration and stop for a while.

The reason why he stops for a while is so that you can see the fruit of your diligence and be encouraged when you get to higher levels.

Because the higher you go, the deeper the demand of the consecration. And if God brings the weight of it, it will be too much on you. He will discourage you. So he will help you to go so far then give you an opportunity to see the benefit of it then while you are rejoicing he calls you back to class.

That’s why is dangerous to talk about people who are ahead until you are there are certain temptations until certain things come to your life it cannot work.

There are weightier temptations that are waiting. Is the reason why you don’t brag and say I’ve arrived.

When you hear young people talk anyhow. That’s why fathers keep quiet and watch them keep coming.

The older people come, you see they keep they quiet. You know why? They are fought beasts in Ephesus quietly. So they keep quiet.

Many believers are beguiled by the anointing upon. What sustains the anointing upon is the anointing within.

This thing called no is not as easy as you hear. There is grace to say no. And if you have not received that grace, don’t open yourself to certain environments. So some things we call delay. It’s not delay. It’s the mercy of God because you have been weighed. And God sees that if that door is open, you will not come back.

Search my heart. Search my heart. Wise people, don’t wait till your life becomes an embarrassment. very quickly you get on your knees and say, “Lord, I don’t even trust what is in my own heart.”

When it has to do with the work of consecration, when it has to do with the work of purification, the work of character and conformity, there are no generals there. Everybody is a student.

You know why David was called a man after God’s heart? It was not just because of the anointing on his head. It was because the man got to a posture of brokenness.

You hear the prayer of elders, Lord, mercy, show me mercy. When you Mercy is not for sinners, oh it’s for those who want to last.

Mercy is not for sinners. It is for those who want. The Bible says it is by the Lord of the Lord’s mercy that we are not consumed. Thou shall arise and have mercy.

Someone lift your hand whilst you are seated now. Ask God for mercy. Go ahead. Walk upon my heart. Walk upon my heart. Lift your voice and pray. Cast your golden crown.

Galatians 2:20.

Confess those tendencies and say, “Lord, let tonight be the threshing floor. Work on me before it destroys my ministry. Work on me. Take away that pride. Take away flesh. Take the prophetic comes with opportunities.

The apostolic comes with opportunities. It takes character to remain. Business exploits comes with opportunities. Political growth and exploit comes with opportunities.

The higher the deeper your consecration, the more the power from the highest will be wrought effectually in you.

God is looking for men and women who will last. God is tired of casualties. And while he does not condemn, it’s a nobler report to remain.

Longevity of impact is better than restoration. Longevity of impact is better than restoration. It’s better to continue and finish than to go down and up and then down and up again.

You are making the mercy of God of non effect.

If you came here to understand the subject of power is beyond lifting hands and just placing it on your head, is beyond just oil coming on your head. And while that is important, this is the major part of it, the fruit of the spirit.

There are many people who are born again, but anger will stop them from getting to the high places. Elijah was an anointed man, but he was an angry man.

The day you get into certain elevated platforms, your prayer life will die. Your fasting will die. Your the your passion for God will die. And so God will withdraw that door. It’s not demonic.

Many withdrawals is not of the devil. That’s why you don’t pray and bind it and it goes because God sealed that door himself. So that before men know you, he will walk on you.

So you don’t come up only to go down.

This is the way. This is the way to power. This is the way to grace. You want to be trusted with a generation. I show you the path.

You want a generation to listen to you is more than English is more than Rehma.

The grace comes on the strength of the inner work of the spirit.

In one minute again say father work on me. I may cry but don’t stop. Walk on me. It may be painful but let that circumcision.

Doesn’t matter how good or bad things have been. Don’t feel condemned but you must be convicted. You can start a fresh again.

We need more people in our world who look like Jesus than those who look like men of God.

God is asking you to be more of Jesus. a reflection of the fruit of the spirit, love, kindness, goodness in Jesus’ name we pray.

The anointing within. When you find a man who has taken advantage of the anointing within, when you look at that man is a beauty to behold.

You look at that daughter of Zion, she’s a beauty to behold because you come close to them. How many of you know that the closer you come to people, the more you see whether they are like Jesus or not?

From a distance, everybody looks like Jesus. But by the time you come close, because even Satan from a distance appears as an angel of light. Is as you come closer, you will find not just spots but elements of darkness.

The anointing within the empowerment that comes by the spirit helping you to walk in character, a manifestation of Christlike dimensions in you in experience, love, joy.

When you find a man who has been walked upon internally by the spirit, you see the beauty of God’s character. You see love.

Don’t blame the Holy Spirit for anything that does not look like Christ.

Take responsibility and work on it.

2. The anointing upon

Acts 1:8 KJV

The anointing upon is the end with power.

The anointing upon is the end with power for efficiency and kingdom service.

It is the empowerment upon the saints that equip them for extraordinary exploits.

The greatest hindrance to the anointing upon is the state of your heart.

2 Chronicles 25:1-2 KJV

There are only three platforms for accessing power:

1. The first platform for accessing power, a direct encounter with the spirit of power, Micah 3:8 KJV

The spirit of power. There is such a dimension of the operation of the Holy Spirit as the spirit of power. 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV

So there is an operation of the Holy Spirit called the spirit of power. And when you encounter the Holy Spirit as the spirit of power, then you will experience the empowerment of the spirit.

2. The second platform for accessing through spiritual power, for accessing the anointing, is accessed through a sound understanding.

A sound or thorough understanding of the word of God.

You can access spiritual power through a sound or a thorough understanding of the word of God. When you understand scripture, there is a measure of spiritual power that is released upon the strength of your understanding.

Your understanding doctrine, your understanding of the ways of God, the mysteries of the kingdom releases a measure of spiritual power upon your life.

I do not know anyone who works genuinely in the anointing in a level that brings great glory to God who is ignorant of scripture.

Habakkuk 3:3-4 AMP

And there in that sunlike splendor is the hiding place of his power.

God’s power hides in his light. The light that is hidden from his word.

When the entrance of his word brings you light, within that light is the hiding place of his power. It’s true.

Is one of the ways to judge between superstition and power that comes authentically from the spirit. It comes in honor to the world.

The assignment of God’s power is to bring honor, credence, and confirmation to the word.

The assignment of God’s power again is to bring honor, to bring credence, and to bring confirmation to the word of God.

Furthermore, the assignment of power is to birth and establish the will of God over a man’s life and over any destiny.

So you will not find the power of God functioning anywhere where his will is not honored.

The assignment of the power of God is to birth the will of God.

Matured believers. You don’t use the power of God to accomplish anything your heart wants. That’s not the assignment of power. The power of God is regulated by his will.

The assignment of God’s power is only to function within the jurisdiction of his will.

If you are outside of the will of God, you cannot commit the power of God to work for you. That’s how God is glorified.

If you manipulate the power of God to work to birth things outside of the will of God, it is called witchcraft.

The power of God is with respect to its ability to be and establish the will of God.

3. The third channel for accessing the power of God. Impartation.

Receiving from vessels who have been shown mercy to carry those dimensions of power. Impartation.

Philippians 1:7 KJV, Romans 1:11 KJV, Matthew 25:8-9 KJV

So there are those who sell. The word sell does not mean merchandise. It means those who have been made custodians of the oil.

Let me tell you the truth. Every dimension of God you are searching for truly from your heart is available in the body of Christ.

There are them that sell:

1. You need to buy.
2. You buy with humility.
3. You buy with meekness.
4. You buy with discernment.
5. You buy with hunger.

You don’t buy with money. No, those are precious spiritual things.

When God brings men of God to minister to you, they don’t just come with a message. They also come as privileged custodians of certain graces in the spirit. Available to those who desired.

You know the grace is upon them by the possibilities that their lives have commanded. It is a product of God’s mercy. But that consistency tells you the grace is truly there.

Let me tell you something I’ve learned about the grace of God in relating with the fathers of faith in this nation. In relating with those who have gone ahead of us. In relating reading the materials of those who walked upon this earth and did mighty things for the kingdom, I’ve come to one conclusion. Every grace needed for the fulfillment of your assignment is already on earth. It takes hunger.

No matter how yielded you are, you will not receive every grace from God directly. He will send you to men he has walked upon and he has given access to those graces. It is now up to you to see.

If you look at men in the power of the flesh, you will lose out many things.

When it has to do with impartation, you must take away familiarity.

Don’t join those in the campaign of despising graces. Don’t. It’s an attack. You will never receive from a grace you despise.

Is the reason why many young people in our generation are not anointed because we have lost the art of honor.

We live in a world today where we trivialize people’s walk with God.

There is a spiritual protocol. As mighty as Jesus was, if he did not meet John the Baptist, he would not have functioned.

John the Baptist was ordained of God to announce him and commission him even though he was the savior for 30 years. His heavens were closed until he met John. Jesus your Jesus as the word.

The Bible says when he met John, John said behold the lamb. So John was not confused as to his identity. John said based on ranking in the spirit I am not worthy to untie the latchet of your shoe. I know who you are, but Jesus said, “Suffer it to be so.” It’s an ordinance. It’s an ordinance.

If I think I’m too proud and I reject your ministry, I myself will not fulfill my own because you came as a forerunner.

Greatness is measured on the strength of your submission, not rebellion, not rebellion, not rebellion.

So Jesus looks at John and says, “John, go ahead and baptize me. I am greater than you, but you have been ahead of me in ministry and I must submit.”

And the Bible says John dipped him. Do you know while all of that was happening, the father was watching from heaven and he uttered not a word, not one word, because a protocol must be fulfilled.

As soon as John dipped Jesus, your Jesus, he came out. Bible says, “And the heavens open over who?” The heavens open. And then the father now spoke. He said, “This is my beloved son.”

When all things were fulfilled, he spoke. The reason why God has not spoken over your your case, God has not asked creation to hear you.

You are the one telling them to hear you is the reason why they are not hearing you.

When God tells a generation, “Hear ye him.” No man can resist you again.

When God made that verdict over Jesus, he went to the mountain, people were there. The valley, people were there. Even when he sneaked alone, people still came. You know why? Because there was a verdict from heaven.

If you have the heart to receive, then welcome to a new season

Mark 1:35-37 KJV, Exodus 3:21 KJV, Psalm 44:3 KJV.

Let me speak over someone who is watching via the airwaves, the satellite expressions, viewing centers. You are watching from television or across the globe. It is always a winning step to make it right with Jesus. Perhaps you are making that decision for the first time or you are rededicating your life to Jesus. It gives me joy as I travel around the nations helping people to find salvation. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to lead you to this Jesus.

The one who is the way, the truth, and life. The one who is able to turn any man’s life around whatsoever. You have made the wisest decision that you can make in this side of God’s kingdom. I salute you for your courage. May I request that you lift your hands, make them high above your head and say this after me as loud and as clear as you can. Say, Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus, say it again. Say, Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus, tonight I have heard your word. I love you. I love you with all my heart. I believe you are the son of God. Lord, I believe you rose again for my justification. Right now, I receive Jesus into my heart as my Savior, my Lord, and my King. I declare that the power of sin, Satan, hell, and the grave is broken over my life.

From tonight, I’m a child of God, born again. I go forward ever and backward never. Amen.

Please keep the hands lifted. Father, thank you. Your word declares that as many who come to you, you will in no wise cast away. These ones have come with humility of heart declaring your lordship. I pray by the power and the authority of scripture that their sins are forgiven. And I call them bonafide recipients of the life of God. The grace to live the victorious Christian life is hereby imparted upon you. And in the name of Jesus, we call you the righteousness of God in Christ. You go forward ever and backward never. Amen.

Every one of you, thank you. Thank you. God bless you. God bless you. God bless you. Hallelujah. Amen. May the Lord bless you. I love you. Go from glory to glory in Jesus name.
