So, I’ll just go straight to my assignment this morning. I believe that God is about to give someone a testimony that will cause you to end this year.
Well, if you are that person, say amen. Now together, can we lift our hands to heaven and cry unto the Lord in one minute? Father, let this morning be my encounter.
Go ahead and pray. Go ahead and pray. Let this be my encounter. Let this be my encounter. They go from strength to strength.
Someone pray. Let my joy break forth this morning. Indeed, my weeping has endured for many nights.
Someone talking to the Lord. For in Jesus matchless name we pray. Amen. >> Father, we look up to you this morning >> and we pray indeed that this service will speak >> for many years to come in the lives of your people. >> I pray, oh God, that the sick will be healed. >> Let the oppressed be delivered. >> Even though it’s the end of the year, advance us, oh God. >> Give everyone a reason to laugh. >> Give everyone a reason to celebrate. In Jesus name we pray.
I will tell you that I’ve been thoroughly edified already within my time here. I had the honor of hearing and learning the history of this place and pastor just took us through a journey and it made me to appreciate the hand of God upon this place.
I assure you in the name of Jesus that God who has given this church, this parish, this testimony for this long is about to visit you personally. In Jesus name we pray.
I have for a topic this morning according to your theme joy in the morning and um very quickly we’ll look at a few things and then we’ll pray. I hope you’ll be ready to pray >> because everything that is not of God that wants to cross over with you into 2026 will bury it here once and for all >> in the name of Jesus.
Psalms 30 and verse 5. It says for his anger endureth but for a moment and then it says weeping may endure for a night. Please look at that scripture carefully. Weeping may endure for a night. It says, “But joy cometh in the morning.” Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Very quickly, let me establish a few things. Number one, the Bible here in this singular scripture is discussing two things.
One, the matter of joy and the matter of weeping. Do not forget.
So, we’re discussing two issues here.
- The Bible says weeping and then joy.
- Number two, the Bible now tells us that the continuity of weeping or the continuity of joy depends on whether the believer is in his nighttime or morning.
So it talks first about the idea of weeping and the idea of joy or rejoicing. And he’s saying that the longevity, the timing, remaining in the state of weeping or remaining in the state of joy and rejoicing depends on whether it is night or it is day in your life.
So that when it is night, a spiritual language now that you remain perpetually in the state of weeping, but that if for any reason your day can break with the breaking of that day, weeping comes to an end.
So you don’t wish to stop weeping. You don’t wish to rejoice. He says that there are concepts that control weeping and control rejoicing in the life of a believer.
And he says provided you are in your night season spiritually, he says weeping will endure, it will continue.
So time will not stop weeping. It will take the arrival of your day for weeping to stop. Hallelujah. This is very powerful.
So immediately, we see that there are two things we are dealing with here:
- Number one, we’re dealing with the possibility of a believer remaining perpetually in a state of weeping, sorrow, pain, backwardness, degradation or the believer experiencing joy. The Bible calls it joy unspeakable and even full of glory.
Now, then the Bible now tells us that connected to those two experiences is the concept of nighttime and day. That it is within your power to decide whether for you it will be weeping or for you it will be rejoicing. And that either ways the principal factors that control your continuation in weeping or your continuation in rejoicing is the presence of night or day. That weeping endures for as long as it is night.
But it says once your morning, the day breaks, weeping comes to an end. Weeping is coming to an end in someone’s life >> in the name of Jesus.
Now very quickly to connect with this, if you want to understand the Bible language of night and day, you have to go to Genesis chapter 1. We’ll read the first five verses and let’s understand something about what the Bible interprets as night and morning or darkness and light.
Genesis 1 verse one says, “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.” Verse two, it says, “And the earth was without form. It was void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep, and the spirit of God hovered around the face of the waters.” Verse three, “And God said, let there be light.” And there was light. Let me pause there for a moment and prophesy over someone.
In the name of Jesus, the son of the living God. Everything that remains or looks like darkness in your life, I stand in faith with pastor and the angel, every minister over this house.
And I declare, let there be light. Let there be light over your finances. Let there be light over your children. Let there be light over your health. Let there be light in the name of Jesus. Shout amen three times.
So verse THREE SAYS, “AND GOD SAID, let there be light and there was light.” Verse four, “And God saw the light that it was good and God divided.”
Now take note, it was God that created that division. God divided the light from what? >> The darkness.
Now read verse five with me if you’re a Christian. One, two, go. Stop. Stop. Don’t rush. GOD GAVE LIGHT a name. He called it what? He called it what?
Read on. AND THE DARKNESS HE CALLED. Let’s take the first LINE AGAIN. AND GOD CALLED THE light day. And he called the darkness. Look up. So when the Bible says night, what is it talking about? Darkness. When the Bible says day, what is it talking about? LIGHT. SO THE BIBLE SAYS weeping endures for as long as there is >> darkness.
JANUARY, FEBRUARY, MARCH, APRIL, MAY DOES NOT DETERMINE WHETHER WEEPING will stop OR NOT.
HE’S SAYING YOU CAN LISTEN, look at me chronologically, we have 24 hours right now. We cannot say it is darkness because it’s about 9:25. But spiritually,
YOU CAN BE IN THE DAY PHYSICALLY, BUT IN THE REALM OF the spirit, IT IS STILL NIGHT. SO EVEN THOUGH IT IS 12:00 NOON, you can still be WEEPING BECAUSE YOUR DAY HAS NOT COME.
Remember Genesis 1:25, he called THE LIGHT DAY.
SO EVERY TIME THE BIBLE TALKS ABOUT DAY IS A SPIRITUAL LANGUAGE TO MEAN THE ARRIVAL OF LIGHT. THAT FOR AS LONG AS LIGHT HAS NOT ARRIVED, YOU ARE IN THE NIGHT.
EVEN if it is 12:00 noon in the morning, EVERYTHING THAT FOLLOWS DARKNESS, FOLLOWS SORROW IS PERMITTED TO FIND expression in your LIFE FOR AS LONG AS you’re in darkness.
I will tell you why. Although morning geographically or geologically and physically, many people wake up in the morning, they sleep late in the night, but nothing changes in their lives.
They make resolutions from January up until December, but their experiences remain the same because it is only physically that night and day is oscillating.
In the realm of the spirit for many people, it is perpetually night. Perpetually night.
When you travel to certain parts of Europe um particularly and then other parts of the world there are certain moments where even when it is 9:30 1000 p.m. In the night it will still look like evening. You see that?
Now they call it longer days, shorter nights. And so sometimes you find out that it even affects the activities of people.
The time they should go and sleep because it’s not darkness. They have the liberty to still be walking.
Can I tell you something? For someone, I believe God sent me here because you have dwelt in darkness for too long. A man can be in darkness and not even know.
The Bible says, “But the people that SAT IN DARKNESS,” HOW DOES A PERSON SIT in darkness, to sit means you are comfortable.
To sit means you are found a RESTING PLACE. NOT LIKE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE DOING SOMETHING ABOUT DARKNESS. THEY SAT IN DARKNESS.
The Bible says they saw a great light. I came to announce the breaking of day for someone. The breaking of day for someone, the breaking of day for a family, the breaking of day for a career PERSON IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
Now listen to me. In this kingdom, dominion walking in the fullness of dominion that extends to manifesting joy is a product of light.
Everybody say light. Light. Shout it again. Say light. For as long light here talks about the body of spiritual knowledge that empowers the believer to walk in dominion experientially.
Let me take that again. When the Bible talks about light, it is a summation and aggregation of the SPIRITUAL KNOWLEDGE THAT EMPOWERS ANY BELIEVER to walk in dominion experientially.
Now when you get saved, when you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, watch this, you become a bonafide recipient of eternal life.
But unfolding the riches of that life depends on the extent of knowledge.
Now this is important. You can be saved but if in ignorance you will have the life of God IN YOU BUT NEVER enjoy the riches that come with that life because releasing the fullness of the life you have received in Christ is knowledge dependent.
So the Bible says in John chapter 1 and verse 5 it says the light shineth in the darkness and the darkness comprehended it not.
THE LIGHT SHINETH IN THE DARKNESS. SO GOD SHOWING US THE VALUE AND THE POWER OF DAY AND NIGHT.
THE Bible says he separated light from darkness and he gave them names. He called the light day. So every time the Bible says you are in your day, it doesn’t mean you are in your 6:00 a.m. or your 12:00 a.m. or your 3:00 p.m.
It means light has come FOR YOU. THE DAY LIGHT HAS COME. THAT IS YOUR DAY.
That means I can be 12 MIDNIGHT PHYSICALLY but in the REALM OF THE SPIRIT I am IN MY DAY.
AND THAT MEANS I’M NOT PERMITTED TO be weeping, so when you want to be free from weeping, IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT BLIND LAMENTATION SAYING, “GOD, I’m tired OF THIS SITUATION.”
TIME WILL NOT CHANGE YOUR SITUATION. It is WHEN LIGHT COMES. ISAIAH CHAPTER 60 AND verse one, it says, “Arise.” Then he says, “Shine.”
And it tells you why. It doesn’t SAY BECAUSE YOU ARE TIRED OF WAITING. It doesn’t say because 2025 is coming to an end. It says arise. SHINE FOR YOUR LIGHT. THIS IS THE REASON WHY YOU ARISE. This is the reason why you shine.
You arise spiritually. YOU ARISE FINANCIALLY. YOU ARISE CAREER-WISE TO THE DEGREE TO WHICH YOUR LIGHT HAS COME. I always like to quote that scripture from amplified.
Amplified rendition of that scripture says, “Arise from the depression and THE FRUSTRATION THAT CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE kept you.”
It says, “Rise to a new light.”
I don’t have the time, but there are two stories in the Bible that show us the power of darkness and light. Darkness generally in scripture is associated with weeping, associated with ignorance, associated with demonic activities. DID YOU EVER HEAR a cedar of demonic spirits called rulers of darkness? Rulers of what?
That means their dominion is in the presence of ignorance. Every time there is ignorance, their dominion is allowed to find expression.
So darkness in scripture CONNECTED TO NIGHTTIME IS GENERALLY associated with pain, losses, depletion, degradation, ignorance, and anything in between.
The Bible says they that sleep sleep at night. MANY BAD THINGS EVEN PHYSICALLY HAPPEN AT NIGHT. There’s a higher probability to be a victim of ambrobery in the night than in the day. Am I right on that?
There are many many accidents that happen in the night. When you are driving in the night.
THE MOST IMPORTANT COMPONENT OR ONE OF THE most important COMPONENTS IN YOUR CAR IS NOT THE COLOR OF YOUR CAR. THE COLOR OF YOUR CAR DOES NOT ADD ALMOST NOTHING WHEN IT IS NIGHT. IT IS THE STRENGTH OF YOUR HEADLIGHY. Am I RIGHT ON THAT? YOU CAN HAVE AN EXPENSIVE CAR, BUT IF THE HEADLIGHT FAILS IN THE NIGHT, PARTICULARLY THAT IT IS HAZY AND RAINING, you stand A RISK OF DYING EVEN THOUGH IN A CAR THAT is working all right.
SOMEONE WHO HAS AN EXPENSIVE CAR WITHOUT THE HEADLIGHT working in THE NIGHT AND SOMEONE WHO HAS AN AVERAGE CAR AND HE’S INVESTED IN GETTING THE HEADLIGHT, THE LATTER WILL ARRIVE MORE PREDICTABLE THAN EVEN the former.
The Bible says in Ephesians chapter 4 and verse 18, we’re about to pray. It says, “Having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that IS IN THEM BECAUSE OF THE BLINDNESS OF their minds.”
Ladies and gentlemen, please hear me. THE REAL STRENGTH OF Satan is the ignorance of the believer.
YOUR IGNORANCE, THE ABSENCE OF light is what TRANSLATES TO THE EMPOWERMENT OF spirits to victimize the saints. WHEN GOD WANTS TO HELP A MAN, WHEN GOD WANTS TO SHOW A MAN MERCY, HE SHORTENS THE DISTANCE BETWEEN you and a career OF LIGHT, HE SHORTENS THE DISTANCE BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR access to light. Someone say, “Let there be light.” Like you are prophesying to your destiny.
Say, “Let there be light.” When you say, “Let there be light,” what you ARE SAYING IS, “I AM TIRED OF WEEPING. LET IT COME to end. There was a man in the Bible, the longest condition we know that a man as recorded in scripture, aside from the captivity of the nation of Israel, WHICH WAS FOR about 430 years, THE LONGEST PERSONAL affliction that any man carried that was recorded. We don’t know how long Job stayed with his condition.
But we know that there was a man at the pool of Bethesa. And he was there for how long? 38 YEARS. HOW MANY OF YOU KNOW THAT 38 YEARS STARTS FROM one day then one week? I’m sure the man said, “I’M SURE AFTER 1 MONTH I will be fine.” Then he said, “No, by 2024, I’m sure things will change.” Not knowing 38 years. And if Jesus did not step in, it would have been his lifetime. Praise the name of the Lord.
So the Bible says weeping endures. Weeping there does not just mean physical crying.
Anything that represents pain, anything that represents weakness, DEPLETION, SORROW, ATTACKS IS CATEGORIZED AS WEEPING. SO WHEN WE TALK OF WEEPING, we’re not just limiting it to the shedding of tears because there’s also the tears of joy. You don’t call that one weeping.
You call it rejoicing. Even if you are crying is for if it’s for a good reason, you don’t say I’m weeping. You say I’m rejoicing.
By the time you have five children and all of them get jobs in one day AND GOD GRANTS THEM GRACE. ALL OF THEM HAVE twins one by one by one and you shed tears. Do you say you ARE WEEPING? NO. YOU ARE REJOICING.
SO WHEN THE BIBLE TALKS OF WEEPING, HE’S NOT JUST MEANING THE SHEDDING OF TEARS. IT’S it’s a figurative expression THAT REPRESENTS A STATE OF DESPAIR, A STATE OF PAIN, HOPELESSNESS, THE REIGN OF DARKNESS OVER THE LIFE OF A MAN. AND THE BIBLE SAYS ANY BELIEVER WILL REMAIN in that condition for as long as it is your nighttime.
What is nighttime again? The absence of light, not the chronological passage of time. Is someone learning? Praise the name of the Lord.
How many of you know if you’ve been to a stadium or you’ve been to any auditorium that is well lit because of the level of illumination in that place, sometimes you cannot even tell whether it’s night or day.
It’s only when you step out you realize that it’s night. But as far as that environment is concerned, your mind cannot capture that it is night. You will have to check your time piece to say, “Wow, it’s 2:00 a.m. 3:00 a.m.
I’m praying for you. May your life be that bright.” That when there is darkness, THANK YOU. WHEN THERE IS DARKNESS ACROSS THE horizon for you, it will be like Goen. If you believe that, say, “Amen.”
I TOLD YOU THAT LIGHT in the kingdom does not just mean the breaking of day physically. It means the arrival of knowledge.
Light in the kingdom means illumination. Light in the kingdom is a compendium of the spiritual knowledge.
The bodies of spiritual truth you need TO KNOW THAT EMPOWERS YOU IN EXPERIENCE to walk in dominion.
Longevity in the kingdom to live long and not die before your time is not a matter of luck. THERE IS A BODY OF SPIRITUAL information that controls that outcome. WALKING IN HEALTH, ENJOYING VITALITY IS NOT JUST A WISH. Christ has purchased IT FOR US. BUT THE EXPERIENCE OF it is predicated on something.
You know is someone LEARNING VICTORY OVER DEMONS OVER CURSES OVER YOLKS OVER PLAGUES IS NOT JUST AN ISSUE OF A WISH. THERE IS SOMETHING YOU NEED TO KNOW. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW IT, YOU CANNOT WALK IN THAT REALITY. FAVOR WITH GOD AND FAVOR WITH MEN IS NOT AN ISSUE OF LUCK. THERE IS A BODY OF SPIRITUAL INFORMATION THAT connects to it. prospering in the kingdom IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, NOT BY CROOKEDNESS, NOT BY STEALING, NOT BY CORRUPTION, WHERE YOUR HANDS ARE CLEAN.
THE BIBLE SAYS, “WHO SHALL ASCEND TO THE HILL OF THE LORD, AND WHO SHALL STAND IN HIS HOLY PLACE?” THERE IS SUCH A MAN WHO HAS A CLEAN HANDS AND A PURE HEART, WHO HAS NOT LIFTED UP HIS SOUL UNTO VANITY, nor sworn deceitfully. A MAN CAN HAVE THAT KIND OF SPIRITUAL CREDENTIAL WHERE YOUR HANDS ARE CLEAN, YOUR HEARTS ARE PURE, YOU HAVE NOT LIFTED UP YOUR SOUL UNTO VANITY AND YOU HAVE NOT sworn deceitfully.
Now, for the purpose of our discussion, I want to give you three keys that can turn your night today spiritually. IF YOU FIND YOURSELF IN a nighttime characterized by weeping, weeping for you can mean losses. Weeping for you can mean the reign OF DARKNESS. IN SPITE OF ALL THE EFFORTS YOU HAVE MADE TO CHANGE your state.
I want to give you three keys and that will become our anchors to pray this morning. Who has got help so far?
Someone shout, “My light has come.” >> My light has come. >> Like you ARE TIRED OF DARKNESS, SAY, “MY LIGHT HAS COME.” >> My light has come. >> ONE LAST TIME. LIKE YOU ARE ANGRY WITH FAILURE. SAY MY LIGHT HAS COME. HALLELUJAH. >>
When a believer finds himself in darkness, nighttime, weeping, pain, losses, defeat, becoming a victim of the vicissitudes of life.
- You must deploy the power of prayer. The power of prayer. The power of prayer. Philippians 1:19.
I want you to see how prayer if engaged with understanding. FOR I KNOW THAT THIS SHALL TURN TO MY SALVATION THROUGH YOUR PRAYER
SO PRAYER IF ENGAGED WITH UNDERSTANDING SUSTAINS THE POWER TO TURN ANY SITUATION to become for your salvation.
It says, “But for I know that this situation, THIS PAIN, THIS UNTIMELY DEATH, THIS DEMONIC ATTACK, THIS JOBLESSNESS, THIS SATANIC oppression shall turn.”
Now, I tell you this, every time believers find themselves in unfavorable situations, you know what we do? We lament about it. We discuss with people who have no power to help us.
And sometimes out of pressure we cause God and judge him unfaithful and we do not deploy the very key that has been given to help believers turn their night today.
There was a man in the Bible called blind Bartimaeus. The Bible records that Jesus was passing Jericho for the last time. He would not pass Jericho again. I’m sure that man, did you know that the Bible says he was born blind? And when he heard, he just heard that Jesus was passing, he would have been angry to say, “Jesus, SHAME ON YOU. YOU CALL YOURSELF A SAVIOR AND you pass a man WHO IS BLIND. WHERE DID YOU KEEP YOUR COMPASSION?” MAYBE IF I WERE HIM, I WOULD BE offended and say, “You claim you are the SON OF GOD. YOU CAME to save the world AND YOU PASS A MAN WHO WAS BORN BLIND. IT WAS NOT HIS FAULT and you ignore him as if you did not SEE HIM. THE MAN DID NOT HAVE TIME FOR OFFENSE.
THE BIBLE says when he HEARD HE SAID, “THOU SON OF DAVID, BECAUSE THIS THING IS BASED ON DEMAND AND SUPPLY. IF YOU DO NOT CALL, THERE IS NO RESPONSE.” HE SAID, “CALL UPON ME AND I WILL ANSWER.” IT DIDN’T SAY ASSUME AND I WILL ANSWER. VERBALIZE YOUR NEED FOR ME.
LISTEN, THE HIGHEST EXPRESSION OF PRIDE IN THE kingdom is prayerlessness.
PRAYERLESSNESS IS NOT JUST SIN. IT IS PRIDE. IT IS A DEMONSTRATION OF YOUR UNWILLINGNESS TO RECEIVE ASSISTANCE FROM HEAVEN.
PRAYERLESSNESS IS PRIDE. It’s a declaration OF INDEPENDENCE OUTSIDE OF THE HELP OF GOD.
AND YET THE BIBLE SAYS without him was not anything made that was made.
Someone say I will pray. >> I will pray.
But I know that this shall turn to my salvation. That every year someone seems to die in my family regardless what happens. Good things HAPPEN TO ME JUST WHEN I’M ABOUT TO REJOICE. THEY TURN AND BECOME NEGATIVE. INSTEAD OF DISCUSSING THEM AND WANTING TO ATTRACT SYMPATHY EVEN IF YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING I’VE BEEN A GRADUATE FOR 5 YEARS NO JOB YOU CAN INSULT THE GOVERNMENT ALL YOU WANT YOU ARE THE ONE SUFFERING WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS GET angry and say I may NOT HAVE THE POWER TO GO AND KNOCK ON ANY DOOR BUT I CAN KNOCK ON the door of heaven AND HE SAID CALL UPON ME LET ME START FROM WHERE I AM WHO IS UNDERSTANDING now believers hear ME THE THE FIRST RESPONSE. WHEN we teach people on first aid and how to rescue people, there’s what we call first response. Meaning, if you find someone in a health crisis, there is a first response. THE BELIEVER’S FIRST RESPONSE to any uncomfortable situation is what? Pray. Even if you do not understand, PRAY. JAMES 5:13, “IS ANY MAN AFFLICTED?” IT SAYS, “LET HIM.”
COME ON, BELIEVER. SHOUT IT WITH ME. LET HIM. >> THE MOTHER WHO SEES HER SON GOING WAYWARD, INSTEAD OF ANNOUNCING IT AND BRINGING SHAME TO YOURSELF, LET HER PRAY. THE MAN WHO FINDS OUT THERE IS THERE IS A GANG UP IN YOUR OFFICE AGAINST YOUR INTEGRITY. LEARN FROM DANIEL. WHEN THEY BEGAN TO CONSPIRE AGAINST DANIEL, IT WAS CLEAR THAT THEY WANTED TO BRING HIM DOWN. DANIEL SAID, “I MAY NOT HAVE THE POWER TO GO TO THE KING, BUT I CAN PRAY.”
WHEN PRAYER IS ENGAGED WITH UNDERSTANDING, YOU RELEASE THE FORCES OF HEAVEN TO COME TO YOUR ADVANTAGE. APOSTLE, WHO DID I TROUBLE THAT MY LIFE IS THIS WAY?
UNFORTUNATELY, you don’t need to trouble anyone. ONCE YOU ARE ON EARTH, YOU ARE A POTENTIAL VICTIM FOR AN ATTACK. IF SATAN KILL CHILDREN UNDER TWO YEARS, YOU ARE TOO OLD FOR him to ignore you. Did you hear what I SAID? IF SATAN CAN KILL CHILDREN FROM 2 YEARS, WHAT DID THEY DO AND HE DID NOT SPARE THEM? WHAT MAKES YOU BELIEVE HE CAN SPARE YOU? KNOWING YOU CAN BE BORN AGAIN. KNOWING GOD CAN USE YOU TO WIN SOULS. KNOWING GOD CAN USE YOU TO CHANGE YOUR FAMILY. HE WILL NOT WAIT TILL THE TESTIMONY ARRIVES. HE WILL STEAL. HE WILL KILL. IT WILL DESTROY.
BUT THOSE WHO WILL BE VICTORIOUS ARE MEN WHO UNDERSTANDS PRAYER.
SOMEONE SHOUT, I WILL PRAY. I WILL PRAY. SAY IT AGAIN. SAY, I WILL PRAY. I WILL PRAY OVER THAT FINANCIAL SITUATION. I WILL PRAY OVER THE WAYWARDNESS OF MY CHILD. I WILL PRAY OVER THE TROUBLE IN MY OFFICE. I WILL PRAY OVER THE NEGATIVE DREAMS.
I WILL PRAY. SOMEONE SHOUT, I WILL PRAY. But I know that this shall turn to my salvation through prayer, not through discussion, not through weeping. Is someone learning this morning?
Your weeping will endure until the day you get angry to pray. LORD, WHY ARE THINGS HAPPENING LIKE this in my life? There was a woman with the issue of blood.
There was another child who was 12 years. The day Jarius’s daughter was born. That was the day the woman’s issues started. Both of their issues were 12 years. Jesus saw both issues because two of them refused to keep quiet. 12 year old issue of blood ended because the woman at least she said to herself if I may but touch the hem of his garment and SHE GOT UP BY FAITH AND reached out. The man said that my daughter cannot meet you but I can take advantage of the leverage of relationship I have. He said please speak the word only. Let me not keep quiet. The hymn writer says oh what pain we bear. He says all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.
Look at me ladies and gentlemen. I don’t know OF A HOSPITAL THAT goes around looking for patients. No, the hospital is built and any patient that is sick enough and you are aware that is a life and death issue, you find your way to the hospital. There are all kinds of departments IN THE HOSPITAL. THERE’S ICU. EVEN IF you cannot LIFT YOUR HEAD, GET THERE. THE MAN ARE BEAUTIFUL. PETER AND JOHN DID NOT GO TO HIS HOUSE. HE COULD NOT WALK BUT HE ALLOWED HIMSELF TO BE carried until he got there.
Prayer is powerful. In Acts 12, when you read from verse 1 to 12, the Bible says HEROD DECIDED TO VEG CERTAIN JEWS. I HOPE GOD IS HELPING us this morning. And then he held James AND BEHEADED JAMES. WHEN HE SAW THAT IT PLEASED the Jews, he now caught Peter. He was waiting so that after Pentecost, he would kill Peter too.
But the church got angry. Verse five, the Bible says he was kept in prison. Watch this. They tied his hand, they tied his feet, and they kept him with four quartians of soldiers. Peter was kept in the prison. The difference between Peter’s condition and James condition is that we don’t see a record that the church prayed over the condition of James. The same angel that came for Peter was available to have come for James, but the church kept quiet. This is what happens when we keep quiet.
Let me show you a principle. Let me use it to teach someone something so that we’ll pray. Verse, the Bible says that he beheaded James. Verse one and two now.
And watch this. Verse three. He killed James, the brother of John. AND BECAUSE HE SAW THAT IT PLEASED the Jews, HE PROCEEDED FURTHER. STOP THERE. STOP THERE. THAT IS THE CHARACTER of Satan. He starts with headache. And you say, “No, it’s just stress.” He proceeds further.
Every time Satan attacks and you keep quiet, you give him the authorization to proceed further. Is someone learning now? >> He touched your first child, you said it’s just that they are Jenz’s. Before you know it, the other two are following.
But the one who gets angry and wages a war of faith and says, “You have come to a no-go area. Thus, far have you come and no further shall you go?
Now, the Bible says in verse 5 that he caught Peter intending to kill him, but prayer was made without ceasing unto God for the church UNTO GOD BY THE CHURCH for him. As a result, angels came and delivered him, took him through all the doors until he was released and he went out. And he made a confession in verse 12.
And I feel like turning that verse 12 into a prayer point for someone. Verse 11, please.
And I pray that it will become a prayer point for someone.
When Peter was come to himself, he said, “Now I know for a shorty that the Lord had sent his angel and had delivered me out of two things:
- Number one, out of the hand of Herod. And number two, OUT OF THE EXPECTATION.” LISTEN, GOD DELIVERS MEN FROM TWO THINGS. ONE THE TROUBLE
- BUT NUMBER TWO THE EXPECTATION. THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT EXPECT YOU TO FAIL.
THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT EXPECT YOUR CHILDREN TO CRY. EXPECTATION IS AS WICKED AS THE EVIL ITSELF.
Psalm 3 says, “Oh Lord, how many are they that rise up against me?”
Many are they that say, “Where is your help?” But it says, “But thou, oh Lord, you are a shield for me.” It says, “You are my glory and the lifter up of my head.”
Hear me, ladies and gentlemen. Anyone secretly wishing to hear that you are crying WILL WASTE HIS TIME for the rest of your life. I’m not speaking to everyone, but I’m speaking to someone WHO KNOWS THAT RIGHTEOUSNESS HAS PLACED YOU IN A PLACE. WHETHER IT IS THROUGH BLACKMAIL, WHETHER IT’S IN YOUR OFFICE, WHETHER IT’S THE EXPECTATION OF EVIL MEN, MANIFESTATIONS OF ENVY, I PRAY FOR YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS. MAY MY GOD LIFT YOU. I need to walk with time. Watch this. Pastor sir, I learned a mystery in the kingdom. Let me tell you one of the ways God shames your enemy.
He will make the person your enemy respect to honor you in the presence of your enemy.
Listen again. Go and write this mystery. When God wants to disgrace your enemy, he will look for the person your enemy respects and he will make the person to honor you.
READ THE STORY AAZARUS, HAMAN, AND MODICEAI. WHEN GOD WANTS TO PROVE TO YOUR enemies his hand is upon you, HE WILL KEEP QUIET WHILE THEY DO WHAT THEY DO as if he’s not acting. THEN HE WILL BRING THE PERSON YOUR ENEMY respects and make the person your enemy respect to honor you in his presence. There is no level of embarrassment that is greater than that one.
So King Ahazeros said bring me the chronicles. And when they opened it he said who is in the chamber there? They said HAMAN COME. WHAT SHALL BE DONE TO THE MAN WHO DID THIS? Ham thought it was him. You see that one day he had been covering the king’s position with time he would have killed the king because without premeditating he said the king’s horse THE THAT MEANS OUT OF THE ABUNDANCE OF THE HEART HE HAD IMAGINED IT IF I KILL this man but he said do you know that he said make sure none of these words fail go and do it to Modcai and brag everybody and say this is what is done to the man that the king chooses to honor after Modcai was honored God in the presence of Haman.
The Bible says Haman went back to his wife and told her the story and the wife said the man you tried to kill, what tribe is he? He said he’s a Jew. He said, “Ah, you did not touch a man. You touched a covenant.” He said, “This destruction that has begun, it will not end. You have touched something that you should not touch.”
I pray for you. Anyone conspiring in the secret, God will disgrace them openly. Disgrace them openly. Disgrace them openly. Disgrace them openly in the name of Jesus. Disgrace them openly. The God of your father, the God of the RCCG who has kept this vision for DECADES WILL DISGRACE ANYONE PRAYING for your downfall. Prayer. Prayer.
Key number two: What is the second key that turns a man’s darkness to light?
- Wordbased, faithfilled confessions, wordbased, faithfilled declarations of the word.
When you are in darkness, when you are in trouble, it’s not just the time to pray alone. It is also the time to release the word of God. The Bible says Genesis 1 1-3, God was not praying. God was creating.
Prayer needs YOUR SPEAKING. CREATION NEEDS YOUR SPEAKING. The difference is that in one instance you are talking to God but in another instance you are prophesying. So I spent eons creating. Look, the darkness that has come as a result of the judgment of Lucifer.
No, he did not consider like Abraham considered not the darkness of his body. He said, “Light be, light be.” And the Bible says he saw that what he spoke. It says, “Declare ye that thou mightest be justified.”
In Psalm 107 I believe and verse two it says let the redeemed give it to us. Psalm 107 and verse two I believe. Psalm 107 and then verse two.
I tell you this, ONE OF THE ASSIGNMENTS of the spirit of depression is either to keep you silent or to keep you in partnership with the devil by speaking negatively.
This is not about positive confession. THIS IS WORDBASED. YOU CAN SPEAK POSITIVELY, but if it’s not consistent with the word of God, you will not create anything. It is not positive confession that creates realities. It is the word of God.
The Lord is my light and my salvation. I declare that my year will end well in the name of Jesus Christ.
The Bible says my path, this is me speaking now, my path is as a shining light. It shines brighter and brighter. I will never have a better last year. No sir, it cannot be possible.
Is someone speaking? You prophesy, “My children are blessed of the Lord. Great is their peace. I will not give birth to the child that will send me to my grave early in the name of Jesus Christ. Gentiles come to my light, my kings to the brightness of thy rising. I have an excellent spirit. I am exceptional in my work like Daniel. You speak.” Don’t keep quiet, sir.
When men say there is a casting down, What should you say? What you should should you decree?
Have you been saying there is a lifting up or you have been joining them to say truly truly oh we ARE CAST DOWN. NO SIR, THERE IS A WAY BELIEVERS SPEAK. When men say there is a casting down.
Isaiah 8:20. I want to show you this. THESE ARE THE SCRIPTURES THAT SHOULD BE weapons for your victory and to THY LAW AND THY TESTIMONY. It says, If they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. WHEN MEN CARRY LIGHT, THERE IS A MANNER THEY SPEAK.
You don’t sit there and say, “So what will become of us now?” No. No. I know by God’s word that I’m not disadvantaged. You may have heard me say it. I can fail alone, but me and God cannot fail together. No, sir.
Once you introduce God to the equation, the calculation changes. ANY ANSWER HE PUTS THERE, HE’S RIGHT. Zero plus God can become 10. It can become 1 million. And you cannot say it’s unrighteousness. God for you.
Learn to speak. The days that we live in, your words will become the sword that pierces you or will become the basis OF YOUR VICTORY. AS FOR ME, there are certain things you will never hear from my mouth. No, my world is glorious.
All I see is what God is doing. All I see is the hand of God. I refuse to recognize Satan as a factor in my world. No sir. No sir.
This is the day that the Lord has made. not the Lord and Satan. I don’t expect his contribution in my day. And if for any reason he stubbornly comes, I know how to keep him at bay.

We’re going to pray. Please make sure you don’t waste this experience this morning. This is not entertainment. These are the keys that have made certain people when you look at them, you think they don’t have challenges.
There’s nobody without challenges. But the outcome is determined by your understanding. Understanding. Understanding. Let the redeemed of the Lord >> say. >> Mama say so.
My brother say so. NEVER ALLOW THE devil be the last person to speak over your life. No sir. If it says you will fail, don’t say, “Well, I don’t believe I will fail.” No, sir. No. No. I cannot fail. Cannot fail.
The hand of God is at work in my life. If God is by your side, where is the job? Tell them he prepares a table. Give him time. He’s preparing something.
Let me give you the final key. I’m giving you only three. Have you been blessed this morning? >> Though weeping endures for a night, >> but joy
Number three, the third key that can turn any night today is called praise with understanding.
- The mystery praise, yes sir, with understanding.
There is a difference between dancing in church that is mere entertainment and at the end of it you are tired, you are sick, you go to the hospital and there’s no victory because there was no understanding.
There are many people who dance in church. Nothing wrong with dancing but it’s not with understanding. They sing songs, they turn around and become victims.
What gives power to your spiritual activity is the understanding that supports it.
Someone say praise.
The Bible says I will call upon the Lord who is worthy of praise.
So by that formula of prayer and praise shall I be saved from my enemies.
In Acts chapter 16, when Peter and when Paul and Silas cast out the spirit from of divination from the dam cell, they were now blackmailed and sent to the prison. Verse 25.
The Bible says, even though bound at midnight, at what? Notice that word.
Why did the Bible have to tell us at midnight? It would have just said, “Paul, pray.”
He’s showing you how to turn weeping to joy at midnight.
You are not the first to HAVE YOUR PROBLEMS. START AT MIDNIGHT. Where the darkness is, start from there. Don’t wait for the day to come.
At midnight, the Bible says Paul and Silas prayed, but they did not stop there. The Bible says they sang praises unto God and the prisoners heard them.
I always make reference to this scripture. You see, when the blessings from praise came, everybody benefited.
Both those who sang and the other people in the prison. Are you seeing the blessings? While you are praising and your family members are saying you are just singing like a fool. By the time the blessing comes, it will not be you alone. They will also benefit from it.
Thank God the prisoners did not stop PAUL AND SILAS. MAYBE THEY DID not believe in them, but at least they did not stop them while they sang and they praise.
And you lift your voice in worship. Father, thank you. And you sing and rejoice and dance and celebrate.
A few people will hear you and say, “What are you doing when you should be crying?” Tell them, “I found the key to victory.”
That when we engage praise with understanding, it is not angels that come. It is his very presence. WHEN PAUL AND SILAS PRAYED AND SANG, IT WAS NOT AN ANGEL that came. It was God himself. The Bible says there was an earthquake. And I like what the Bible says.
He says immediately, how many doors? >> Financial doors, >> marital doors, >> fruitfulness doors. How many doors? >>
WHEN THE ANGELS CAME, ALL DOORS DID not open at once. The doors open one by one by one by one.
But when he came, your God, my God, when he came for someone, IT WILL NOT JUST BE JANUARY FINANCE, FEB. ALL DOORS WILL OPEN AT ONCE. All doors will open at once. I prophesy TO YOU. ALL DOORS WILL OPEN AT ONCE. Career doors, MARITAL DOORS, FINANCIAL DOORS, MINISTRY DOORS, DOORS OF PROMOTION. SAY AMEN. Say amen again.
Because they prayed and they sang. All doors opened. Please rise up on your feet. We’re about to pray. All doors. Ah. All doors.
Someone is saying, “But Apostle, today is the 27th. How many days did it take God to create the heavens and the earth?”
HOW HOW BAD IS YOUR life that you think God cannot fix it? Is it NOT IN YOUR BIBLE? HAVE YOU HEARD THAT IN ONE day a nation IS BORN? ONE DAY.
HOW LONG? >> How long? >> One day. >> One day, sir? One day sir, while you are talking about the Jesus that died, he would have resurrected already and he’ll be the one you are talking to on your way to Emos. Have you heard of the man that died? He say you are wasting your time. He’s resurrected long ago.
Can I tell you ladies and gentlemen, we are going to take one moment to pray and then we’ll engage for two minutes in strategic warfare. Then I’ll pray over your life. Will that be fine? >>
I want some chains to leave you once and for all in the name of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah.

Now I like you in one minute. I don’t know what area of your life that is connected to weeping. Maybe your finances, maybe your health. Please don’t keep quiet. For the next one minute, open your mouth and cry that area before the God.
I don’t know what position you want to take but please for the next one minute no looking AROUND YOUR EYES ON JESUS PLEASE OPEN your mouth and pray.
And the Lord visited Sarah as he has said. And the Lord did unto Sarah as he has spoken. Someone lift your voice and pray. 1 minute.
Come through for me, oh God. Come through for me, oh God. Give me a testimony. Go ahead and pray. come true for my husband, for my wife, for my children, for my career, for my ministry, over my health. I call upon the God of heaven.

Prophecy is very powerful.
Hear me ladies and gentlemen. The prophetic can program a climate of possibilities over your life. This is a very prophetic moment.

A strong anointing resting on a few people. I’m just going to make that declaration. Then I start prophesying. I don’t know, but I’m sensing that this the Lord is speaking to someone.

The Lord is ministering to me that there are many people who are wearing a garment of shame and reproach. I want to pray over you and as I speak that the hand of God will rest on you that that garment will tear off that garment.

I don’t know where you are in this congregation, but anyone wearing a spiritual garment of reproach in the name of Jesus, I stretch my hands from right here and I declare help them in the name of Jesus. Now I declare over you every door that has been shut from January, February, March, April, I’m only speaking to receivers in the name that is above all names between now and December 31st. Exodus 14:15, Moses, why do you cry before me? It said, speak to the children of Israel that they go forward. I want to speak to someone. Let me tell you how you know the spirit of delay is at work in your life.
If the only thing that grows in your life is your age, nothing else grows. Wisdom does not grow. Achievements don’t grow. Only your age. Celebrating birthdays but nothing to justify your days. Your leg has been tied down spiritually. But in the name of Jesus, by the power that raised Christ from the dead, someone who is ready to receive, I speak over you. Go forward. Go higher. Go forward. Go forward. Advance. Go forward.

Exodus 3 and verse 21. And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. And it shall come to pass that as ye go, ye shall not go empty.
I pray for you. The grace for favor that rest on men and causes them to be favorably disposed, whether it’s in the presence of your enemies or your friends. I pray for you. That grace that God placed upon your pastor that elevated him to where he is today. That grace UPON OUR FATHER IN THE LORD that Jho that has elevated HIM TO A SIGN AND A wonder even in old age.
I STAND UPON THESE GRACES AND I SPEAK TO YOU CARRY FAVOR. Carry favor. Carry favor. Carry favor. Favor with God. Favor with man. Favor with God. FAVOR WITH MAN. FAVOR WITH GOD. FAVOR WITH MAN. FAVOR WITH GOD. FAVOR WITH MAN. FAVOR WITH GOD. FAVOR WITH MAN.
Two more prayers and we’re done. There is a difference between honor and favor. Please listen. You can respect yourself, but you cannot honor yourself. Honor is conferred on you by someone higher than you.
Do you know what it means to be honored? To be honored means to be perceived correctly to match your true worth and to be rewarded to match that perception. Dishonor means to be under perceived. So this is where God has placed you. But this is where men see you.
LISTEN CAREFULLY. MANY OF YOU the reason why you have not attained the next level is because the grace for all is not there.
So even though you are making investments morally, spiritually, intellectually, Satan is manipulating the understanding of people and he keeps misrepresenting your true worth. So you cannot increase, you cannot grow.
But he said to Moses, he said, “Take thou Joshua the son of noon, in whom is a spirit, and lay your hand upon him.”
Listen. And then he says, “Take some of thine honor and place upon him so that the nation of Israel will hearken unto him.”
If the grace for honor is not on you, a generation will not hear your voice.
No matter how morally right you are, no matter how holy and righteous you are, it takes more than eloquence. It takes more than oretry.
There is a grace on a man that makes the ears of kings and nobles and all and sundry
TO LISTEN TO YOU. MANY PEOPLE do not have honor in their lives.
I have seen a PhD holder in port many years ago as a security person. PhD not honorary PhD earned legitimately. But the woman said I rather be a security than to allow my children beg. I said that is noble but this cannot be the will of God. Are you saying there is no space in any institution nothing anywhere?
Let me tell you the truth. There are spirits that have an assignment to make sure that you are not honored.
Meaning you are not perceived to match your true worth. I have seen inferiors or well subordinates I would say promoted by far and the people that train them IT IS NOT BECAUSE THEY did anything wrong.
Someone just believes you have the qualification but you DON’T HAVE THE CAPACITY and they keep you down there.
Honor sir I want to pray for you. Some of us would have been better off financially with integrity, better off in various aspects of our lives according to God’s principle.
Everybody should go forward. But it is an anomaly when those below rise. If you are a non-believer, that’s fine. But you if you’re a believer, all of you should go forward in the progression of your sacrifice. But when one person marks time whereas others keep rising, something is wrong. Honor, the capacity to be perceived correctly, to match your true worth, to match your sacrifice, to match your labor in righteousness, AND THEN TO BE REWARDED TO MATCH THAT level of perception. That’s what we call honor.
I pray for someone for your days of shame where Satan has had to reduce you like Nebuchadnezzar that even though you are a king, he has turned you to be like a beast in the wilderness.
I decree and declare, let the grace for honor rest on you. Let the grace for honor rest on you. Let the grace for honor rest on you from today. No man will despise you. They will not despise your value. They will not despise your sacrifice. They will not despise your labor in righteousness IN THE NAME OF JESUS. HALLELUJAH.
Final prayer. Let me pray over your spiritual life. Young lady, I’m seeing an anointing come on you. That lady in the name of Jesus. And the Lord is saying he will make you a mighty vessel. I don’t know you, but that lady, I stretch my hands and I declare, let that grace come on you. We’re going to pray.
Look up, please. No matter how well you succeed, if you fail spiritually, you don’t weigh much in the spirit. The real weight of a man is not just material acquisitions. Nothing wrong with that.
But let me tell you, IF I STOP JUST BY SPEAKING OVER your life breakthroughs and I don’t speak over your prayer life, OVER YOUR APPETITE for God and your things of God, I cheated you very seriously.
Is someone learning? Because you see, your spiritual LIFE IS THE BATTERY THAT POWERS EVERY ASPECT OF YOUR LIFE. Buy a brand new clock without a battery, it will not move. It is not that it is old, is that it’s not empowered.
The kind of money you make at the expense of your spiritual life is demonic money.
The kind of growth, if you must give up Jesus, your relationship and your love for God to rise, I tell you already that’s a bait from Satan. THIS IS NOT just a preacher’s talk.
The Bible says it is the people that do know their God. It starts with knowing their God, NOT RECEIVE FROM GOD. KNOW THEIR GOD.
The Bible says, “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom. Let not the rich man glory in his riches. Let not the mighty man glory in his might.” It says, “But let him that glory glory in this that he understanded and knoweth me.”
The real pride of the believer is not just in material acquisitions. As important as it is, the health and the wealth of your relationship with Jesus is the most potent index of success in the kingdom.
So I will speak over your life. In fact, let me do it this way. Since I’m talking about spiritual life, let me do the altar call now.
Then I’ll just speak over your life. Since it’s your spiritual life, there’s no point shouting amen when you are not saved for this prayer right now.

The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth on him should not perish.” It says, “But have life everlasting.” Verse 17 of the same John says, “For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.”
It says, “Whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord, he shall be saved.” I’m going to make two calls in one.
Very quickly, our time is up. Number one, the first set of people are those who are saying, “Apostle, I’ve never truly made a conscious decision. I consider myself to be a good person, morally right by the standards of men, but I’ve not made that decision.” Or you are saying, “Apostle, I know I don’t need kajolin. I need Jesus.”
That’s group one. You are saying, “I’ve never made this decision.” Maybe born by Christian parents. I’ve been around church. maybe even a walker in church. The second group, I’m praying for those who are saying, “Apostle, I have given my heart to the Lord, but for some reason with time so many things have happened. It’s like a spiritual wear and tear and I’m in a position right now where I know that I need to rededicate my life.”
In the manner of our father and the Lord, I’m going to count one to five. I don’t know where you are. I’m looking for one sincere person who is saying apostle I can’t tell lies I cannot God bless you my brother is already coming I see you sir as I begin to count one to five whether you are up the balcony or outside leave your seat and run quickly come and stand here one let’s celebrate them as they come don’t wait for anyone to come >> two keep clapping let’s celebrate them as they come You know you should be here.
