Part 1Let Us Pray Part One (Gaining Mastery In Prayer) by Apostle Selman

Lift up your voice and give The Lord a shout of triumph and a shout of victory.

To everyone connecting online, I declare that tonight will be your night in the name of Jesus Christ!

Lift your hands as a grateful Believer and give thanks to God for the remarkable week we experienced. Thank Him for the success of the Koinonia School of Ministry in London; for the grace released, the empowerment received, the wisdom imparted, the courage to obey, the performance of His Word, and for all He accomplished in our midst.

I declare that tonight will be a night of dramatic encounters for you, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
I decree; here and to everyone connected, that this night will mark a powerful and undeniable encounter with God, in Jesus’ Name.

Worship is a response to the revelation of God quickened in your heart. A true worshipper is one who has intentionally inclined themselves toward God; one who has mastered the response of the impulses of The Spirit.

A true worshipper is far more than a singer. Worship is the response to a revelation of God; a dimension of His glory quickened in your heart. Every time God reveals a dimension of His glory, the only fitting response is worship.

A worshipper is one who has learned to discern and mastered yielding to the impulses of the Spirit, whether expressed through songs or hymns.

1. “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;”
2. “saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:”
3. “and there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.”
4. “And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;”
5. “yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.”
6. “And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.”
7. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?”
Luke 18:1-7 (KJV)

“Pray without ceasing.”
1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)

“Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.”
Acts 6:3-4 (KJV)

“And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. And Simon and they that were with him followed after him. And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.”
Mark 1:35-37 (KJV)

A parable (as seen in Luke 18:1-7) is a simulation of a story similar to fiction, with the intent of driving a point. (Luke 18:1-7, 1 Thessalonians. 5:17, Acts 2:42, 6:3-4, Mark 1:35-37)

The easiest way to influence people is not to instruct them, but to model a life they can follow.

Declare: I receive the grace to pray!

Prayer is generally defined as communication with God. It is communicating our thoughts, needs, desires, and needs to Him.
Beyond communication, prayer is also a way of communion and fellowship. (2 Corinthians 13:14)

“Pray without ceasing.” – Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)
“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” – Acts 2:42 (KJV)

1 “And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.”
2 “Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.”
3 “Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.”
4 “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.” (Acts 6:1-6 KJV)

The value of prayer goes beyond the individual. Prayer has the power to influence families and transform territories.
When it has to do with the ministry of prayer, nothing is excluded, every sphere of life can benefit from it. (Philippians 4:6)

The principal strategy for cultivating intimacy with God is prayer. You cannot step into the realm of intimacy while ignoring the place of prayer.
Alongside the written Word, prayer is one of the ways through which we encounter God.

The Believers confidence in this Kingdom is derived from knowing and having a functional knowledge of the living God.
As mighty and as mysterious as God is, He wants to be known.
Every Believer has a scriptural right to know God.

Four (4) Ways To Know God Experientially and Functionally:
1. Through the study of Scripture (John 5:39)
This is the primary way to know God.
2. By studying His Names.
• The names of God are a revelation of Himself.
3. By studying Jesus Christ. (John 1:14)
• Jesus Christ came to correct our prior knowledge about God. He came as a living expression of our understanding of God.
4. Through our personal experience. (Job 42:5, Isaiah 43:1-2)
• There is a dimension of God you can only know when you have experience certain things. God will remain a theoretical God until you go through certain things.

Jesus Christ is the ultimate revelation of God. Every claim we make about God must be examined through Christ. Every doctrine, every interpretation, every understanding must pass through the lens of Jesus.

Every time you’re confused about what God can or cannot do, study the life of Jesus Christ. His life shows consistency; you can trust it fully. Only where you find no evidence in His life do you have a right to doubt it.

God remains a theoretical God until you pass through certain things. It is through personal experiences that His true revelation is made known.
Your real victory in pain and defeat is realizing that Christ can be revealed through it.

The Believers’ real victory in pain and defeat should be that Christ can be revealed through it. What gives victory to pain is that you allow Christ to be revealed through it.

If Christ is not revealed through your pain, then you are still defeated.

A major part of how God answers prayer is that He leaves the prayer point and quickens growth in the Believer.

When you see a Believer who is refined and transformed, it is proof that they have submitted themselves to consistent prayer.

One of the primary ways God answers prayers is by allowing the issue of concern to be resolved and simultaneously causing the one who prays to grow. This is because, in the Kingdom, many answers are growth-dependent.

When we grow, sometimes even without praying, certain possibilities begin to manifest naturally to us as a benefit of growth and a reward for consistency in the place of prayer.

If Christ is not revealed through your pain, that means you are still defeated.

What gives victory in pain, is that you allow Christ to be revealed through it.

God is not as interested in giving immediate physical results as He is in changing the one who is praying. Because when the person is changed, the results will eventually follow.

Declare: I will pray!
I receive the grace to pray!

Prayer allows the Believer to be refined and to be transformed.
When you submit yourself to prayer, it molds you.

Declare: “I will pray. I receive the grace to pray.”

TRUST is based on a track record. It always starts with faith, then TRUST. You trust someone who has kept his words experientially.
Declare: Lord, I trust You!
I receive the grace to trust You!

Faith and trust are closely related, yet they are not the same. Faith believes, but trust is faith that has been tested. Trust is built on a proven track record, you cannot fully trust someone you have never experienced.
That is what prayer does, Prayer builds your capacity to believe God. Prayer turns faith into trust.

“Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.”
James 5:13 (KJV)

Prayer is the authorized channel to call on God for assistance and involve Him in all affairs of your life.

You can only understand how cheap Satan is when you pray. As long as you remain in prayer, Satan’s victory over your life becomes questionable (Philippians 4:6; Jeremiah 33:3).

Prayer helps the Believer access the mind or voice of God; concerning any and all matter of life and destiny (Psalm 32:8)

One of the major reason people fail in life and destiny is that they guess their way through life and destiny.

The voice of God does not mean sounds, it represents every scriptural channel and strategy by which God communicates His will and intent to the Believer.

God does not have to speak to communicate His will to us. It’s our responsibility to contend for grace to pick the prompting of God as the instructions became stricter.

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”
Psalm 32:8 (KJV)

When you pray, that channel and platform open access to the voice of God, bringing instruction, guidance, and clarity concerning every matter of life and destiny.

When the Bible speaks of the voice of God, it is not referring only to audible sound. The voice of God is not limited to hearing words. The word voice does not merely describe sound or volume.

The voice of God represents every spiritual channel and divine strategy through which He communicates His will and intentions to the Believer. Collectively, this is what Scripture refers to as the voice of God.

So, when we speak about hearing God, we are not limiting it to audible speech alone. There are multiple channels through which God speaks:
1. Angelic visitations are the voice of God.
2. The inner witness and intuition of the Holy Spirit is the voice of God.
3. The knowing of the Spirit, the witness of the Holy Spirit, and the inward conviction of righteousness are the voice of God.
4. Prophetic utterances are the voice of God.

These are all legitimate channels.

Therefore, when we talk about hearing God or accessing the voice of God, it is not just about sound; we are referring to discernment, spiritual perception, and divine communication in all its forms.
Prayer positions the Believer to access these channels clearly and consistently.

I pray for you now:
May your heart be fully attuned to the voice of God.
Every form of spiritual deafness, every blockage to hearing Him, I rebuke in the Name of Jesus.
Every manipulation of your discernment, every confusion that made you think you heard God when it was not Him, I bind in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Many are sincerely executing the wrong decisions, believing it is God who spoke, but sincerity alone is not enough for destiny. I decree clarity into your life now, in the Name of Jesus.

Hear this: one of the greatest preparations for destiny is clarity of direction. Speed is meaningless without direction. Hurrying without clarity is simply rushing to nowhere.

May The Lord grant you direction, discernment, and divine clarity, in Jesus’ Name.

Whatever has blocked your ears from hearing the voice of God, every evil manipulation and form of spiritual deafness, I bind it in the Name of Jesus. Let your ears be opened to hear God clearly concerning every matter that concerns your life, in Jesus’ Name.

Wherever you have embarked on a journey based on a voice you thought was God’s, but was not, I command a U-turn and a divine reversal, in the Name of Jesus.

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”
Isaiah 30:21 (KJV)

Every form of spiritual deafness, every blockage that keeps you from hearing the Word of God, and every manipulation around your hearing, I bind in the Name of Jesus.

Wherever you have been following wrong instructions, thinking it was God speaking, I command a U-turn and divine correction, in Jesus’ Name!

Speed is needless without direction. One of the key ways to prepare for destiny is to pay the price to hear the voice of God. The value of speed is arriving a destination that is already predefined. God gives direction and guidance

Guidance focuses on the steps to the destination. Direction shows you the endpoint.

Speed is useless when direction is not known.
The value of speed is that it enhances your arrival at a direction that is already predefined.

Hurrying up to go nowhere is already making you closer to pain.

I pray for you: May God grant you not only direction, but divine guidance.
Not only promises, but the strategies to fulfill them.
Not only faith, but the wisdom to execute effectively.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Things You Need to Succeed in Life:
1. What God has said (His Word and promises for your life)
2. The knowledge to execute what God has said correctly (His strategies)
• Divine strategies are seasonal; timing is key.

The one who wins is the one who pays the price in prayer to obtain the strategy.

You know you’re disciplined when you know you can do many things, yet choose to pay the price to obtain instructions on what to do per season.

Men are not inherently spectacular; the difference lies in their ability to pay the price and receive strategies that birth superior results.

Do not execute a new season with old strategies. We must learn to seek God for our daily strategy. The one who wins consistently is the one who pays attention to the voice of God to obtain the strategy for every level.

Not every open door is meant to be entered, some open doors lead to prisons. We win, not just by visions alone, nor by might, we win by divine strategies.

Achievement that ignores God often leads to trauma.
Success without divine alignment brings wounds.
Advancement without God’s strategy results in regret.
So choose wisely:
– Seek God.
– Wait for His direction.
– Walk only through the doors He opens.

I declare over you: This year, 2026, your results will shock you, in the Name of Jesus!
You will accomplish things eyes have not seen and ears have not heard.
You will advance in life, business, and ministry by the divine strategies of the Holy Spirit, in the Name of Jesus.

You are as helpless as your prayerlessness.

When we win in this Kingdom, it is because we have allowed The Holy Spirit to journey into the mind of the Father on our behalf, in the place of prayer.

When it has to do with the business of destiny, you must pay attention to the unique script earmarked by the Father for you, and when you find that strategy bespoke to you, and execute it, your life will become a sign and wonder.

Yesterday’s strategy does not bring today’s victory. To be victorious, you must engage in consistent prayer, trusting The Holy Spirit to unlock the heart of The Father to you.

Yesterday’s strategy cannot birth today’s victory. In the place of prayer, we engage with God, and the Holy Spirit (the Librarian) downloads the mind of Christ to us, auditing our plans and revealing strategies for the season.

The intercessory dimension of prayer allows for divine intervention in the life of others and a territory. (1 Timothy 2:1-3)
Intercession is standing in the gap for others.
The spiritual climate of a region and a territory is at the mercy of intercessors and watchmen – men and women who understand the importance of intercessory prayer.

Intercession is standing in the gap in prayer for individuals and territories. Prayer does not just affect individuals; the spiritual climate of a territory is at the mercy of intercessors.

Daniel 6:16-20 (KJV)

I pray for you: Let there be an emergence of prophetic intercessors. Men and women who will stand in the gap and pray, in the name of Jesus Christ!

The devil attacks a territory by blinding it. People act in ways that betray both the dignity of their education and human dignity.
As Believers, you don’t have to be in government to be in power or to exercise Kingdom authority. We must rise as intercessors and pray fervently against territorial blindness.

Satan’s strategy in oppressing individuals and territories is different. Satan oppresses a territory by putting a covering cast, blinding the minds of the individuals in that territory.
As a Believer, you can discern this and become a watchman for your territory, praying and interceding against the enemy’s schemes.

It is time to build a hedge of protection over your life with the authority of your words.
Declare:
Not my life!
Not my destiny!
Not my spouse!
Not my children!
Not my family!
Not my business!

The way satan oppresses an individual is not the same way he oppresses a territory.

When Satan seeks to oppress a territory, he does so by placing a dark covering over it. Scripture describes this as blinding the minds. He blinds territories, leaders, systems, and structures so that people begin to act in ways that betray reason, conscience, and even basic human dignity.

You see people behaving in ways that clearly contradict who they are meant to be. This is not normal behavior. These are manifestations of spiritual influence.

This is how territorial darkness works. It dulls conscience. It normalizes evil. It influences decision-making at scale, through cultures, systems, and leadership.

And this is why intercessory prayer is critical. Individual prayer changes lives, but intercession changes atmospheres. When a territory is blinded, only spiritual light can restore clarity.

This is the responsibility of The Church: to discern the atmosphere, to contend in prayer, and to stand in the gap for territories, nations, and systems.

Men are puppets in the realm of the spirit; the spirit that influences you ultimately controls your decisions. Watchmen must rise up.

Declaration: I release a wall of divine protection over my spouse, my family, and the churches around the globe, in Jesus’ Name!

The intercessory ministry is very important and powerful, even though Jesus Christ said “it is finished”, He continues at the right hand of The Father as our intercessor, knowing that without His intercession, we might not finish well.

“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” Ezekiel 22:30 (KJV)

Open your mouth and begin to make intercession over your life, family, destiny, career, children, spouse, and business.

When the enemy prevails over economies, politics, mindsets, and convictions, it is often because a spiritual signal was sent by God long ago, but sadly, we were too busy pursuing other things to respond.

One of the things we must learn as Believers is the power of succession and mentorship. This is because the devil is generational in his thinking.

Once you have found a key in the Kingdom, don’t stop at rejoicing over it; you must seek to hand the key to the people who are coming after you. Because, Satan is generational in his thinking. He’s preparing for our children coming, whilst we aren’t preparing for them.

Satan can be patient for 20 years until an intercessor dies off, and then he revisits a file.

Setting up a revival fire is more difficult than maintaining the fire. As Believers, we must understand the power of succession and mentorship. Don’t reach a stage in life without transferring the mysteries and wisdom that God has stewarded (entrusted) to you.

Nobody should get to a certain age without transferring the graces and dimensions of The Spirit upon you. A good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children.

Angels In The Scriptures Are Involved With:
1. Worship
(Revelation 5: 11-12, Revelation 7:11-12)
2. Receiving prayers and delivering answers
(Revelation 8:3-4, Daniel 10:3, Hebrews 1:14)
3. Delivering messages
4. Warfare
5. Protecting the saints and God’s programs

“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways.”
Psalm 91:11 (KJV)
The Angelic ministry, according to scripture, is a major part of God’s overall enforcement strategy.

Prayer Activates the Ministry of Angels (Psalm 91:11)
Wherever angels are mentioned in the Bible, they are involved in:
1. Worship
(Revelation 5: 11-12, Revelation 7:11-12)
2. Receiving prayers and delivering answers and messages
(Revelation 8:3-4, Daniel 10:3, Hebrews 1:14)
3. Warfare (Angels engage in spiritual battles on God’s behalf)
4. Protecting the saints and God’s programs
(Acts 12:7).
Angels belong to a class called ministering spirits (Hebrews 1:14).

Angels are actively working. It may seem otherwise because they are triggered only by the Word of God. They respond on behalf of saints only when our words and actions align with God’s Word.

Angels do not take commands from us; they operate under the authority of God’s Word. Every spirit that comes from God obeys His Word, and angels act in accordance with the compliance of our faith-filled declarations with Scripture. All Spirits that came from God obeys His Word.

Acts 12:1-7 (KJV)

Angels can be around, but it is your prayer that directs them to you.

There is a special deployment of Angels at the instant of intercession.

Because something is finished in Christ does not mean it will automatically manifest. It must pass through an appropriation channel to find expression in your life.
This is known in theology as the law of conversion; it is the process by which the realities of Christ’s finished work are brought into manifestation in our lives.

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24 (KJV)

The tripartite formula for answered prayer is: Receiving, Believing, and Having.

Because something is finished in Christ does not guarantee its experiential manifestation in our lives. It must pass through the appropriation system, also called the law of conversion, the process of bringing finished spiritual realities into physical expression.

This requires wisdom, faith, and power to translate the finished work of Christ into tangible results. Victory comes when a Believer knows what Christ has done and applies this tripartite formula (Wisdom, Faith, and Power) to convert spiritual realities into manifested outcomes.

Now, with your understanding of prayer, make contact with someone and pray in the Spirit.

Pray: Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ and by the blood of the eternal covenant, I decree and declare that every hold of darkness over my life, family, and career be broken now, by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ!

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24 (KJV)

Because it is finished in Christ, it doesn’t mean it will manifest in your life.
Everything that is finished in Christ must go through an appropriation system before it manifests in your life automatically.

Victory starts by knowing what Christ has done, then you use the channel of prayer, in partnership with wisdom, faith, and power, and then it converts that reality to become true in your life.

PRAYER POINTS FROM THE SERMON “LET US PRAY (PART TWO)”
1. Father, in the name of Jesus and by the blood of the eternal covenant, I decree and declare that every hold of darkness over my life, my family, and my career be broken now, in Jesus’ Name.
2. Father, by the anointing of the Holy Spirit, I go forward and make progress. By my God, I run through troops and leap over every wall. I declare advancement: January, I go forward; February, I go forward; March, I make progress, all the way to December, in Jesus’ Name!
3. Every covering cast and veil over my face, my ministry, and my business that is hiding me from the right people or stopping the right people from seeing me, I tear it off now. I declare divine visibility; those ordained to bless and reward me will see me.
4. Father, bring everyone ordained to be my helper and hold my hands in destiny speedily. I curse every spirit delaying or hindering them.
5. Father, prompt the hearts of those You have sent to assist or help me; let them not argue or resist Your plan, in Jesus’ Name.
6. Father, let help come on time and in the right measure, to the degree it makes a significant impact. Do not let help come too late for me, in Jesus’ Name.

Pray: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I decree and declare that this year, I go forward, make progress, advance, begin, continue, and finish strong, in Jesus’ Name!

It is one thing to be gifted and blessed, but it is another thing to be seen. As long as people don’t know that you’re there, your destiny will be stunted.

Pray: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I declare that every covering over my life, career, ministry, and business, preventing my helpers from seeing me, be destroyed now by the power of the Holy Spirit. I decree that this is my season of divine visibility, in Jesus’ Name!

It is an error to forget gifted people. There are many prayers that God has answered, but the human vessels who will come to you in response to the answers have been delayed.

Pray: Father, in the name of Jesus, I decree that everyone ordained to play a role in my rising, who is to hold my hands to raise me up, I declare that they come to me speedily.

Every demonic force or gang up frustrating the arrival of the helpers of my destiny, I curse you and command you to give way, in the name of Jesus.

Father, touch the hearts of my helpers that has been ordained to play a part in my destiny, that when the Holy Spirit prompts them, they will not argue with You, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Father, in the name of Jesus, let help come on time and let it arrive in such a way that it makes a significant impact in my life, in Jesus’ Name.

When the butler heard of Pharaoh’s need for an interpreter, he said, “I remember my wrong this day.” In other words, he remembered that someone’s bondage had been prolonged because of his carelessness.

Likewise, there are people whom Satan cannot stop from being visionary, but he has hindered those ordained to hold their hands and bring their destinies to fulfillment.

Pray: Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I decree and declare that everyone ordained to help me in life and destiny, they come to me speedily in the name of Jesus Christ!

Every demonic force, frustrating and delaying the arrival of my helpers, I curse those spirits, and I declare that my helpers come to me now!

It is one thing for helpers to come to you, but another for the people to believe in you.

Pray: Father, quicken the hearts of everyone ordained to be an advantage in my life, thereby making my journey easy and effortless, in the name of Jesus Christ!

The value of help is that it comes on time and comes to a degree that it makes significant impact.

What We Must Know About Help:
• Help can come too late
• Help can come to a degree that makes significant impact.
Pray: Father, may help come to me on time, and may it come in a way that will make significant impact in my life, in the name of Jesus Christ!

Time doesn’t change anything; you have to enforce change by faith

Pray: Mention everything in your life that is inconsistent with God’s Word for this season and enforce it by faith

The passage of time does not change a situation. You must enforce your victory by faith.

Pray: Mention everything you know that is inconsistent with the Word of God for your life, and in this season, and declare that it ends in your life right now, in the name of Jesus Christ!

Sow a seed of prayer over your territory. Decree and declare that over your nation, that only the counsel of The Lord shall prevail. That the enemy has no foothold or advantage in our lands, in the name of Jesus Christ!

Declare that evangelism will multiply like never before, and the fire of revival shall sweep across our territories, in the name of Jesus Christ!

Let the wisdom and favor of God work mightily in your life. You will enjoy the gift of men, the gift of lifters, and the gift of blessings, in Jesus’ name!

I declare: Every gang-up of hell against your life is abortive in the name of Jesus Christ! I declare your children, spouse, family, and business blessed in the name of Jesus!

You have the mind of Christ; you cannot be defeated. Go forward, make progress, advance, start well, continue well, and finish strong, in Jesus’ name!

In the name of Jesus Christ, may God help you this week. May the Lifter of men open doors for you, grant you divine strategies, connect you to strategic relationships, and ensure your value to be received and rewarded in Jesus’ name!
