The Law of Faith by Apostle Selman

Part 1: The Law of Faith by Apostle Selman

All that means the longevity of darkness does not affect the dominion of light. As soon as light comes, it does not factor in that darkness has been there for 10 years or 5 years or 2 years or 1 year or one day. That is unimportant as far as the dominion of light is concerned.

So it doesn’t matter how long you have been stunted, you have been stagnated, provided it is the true light. The Bible says that was the true light that lighted every man. There are false lights. They carry a semblance of dominion but they are not able to deliver.

I pray for you in the name of Jesus that through the sessions we’ll be running this morning. May you find the missing key. May you find the missing step. May you close the gaps in the name of Jesus Christ.

One more time, let me encourage you to say a prayer onto the Lord. My heart is open. Show me the answer. My heart is open. Lead me from where I am now to where I need to be.

Thank God for what I have seen so far in business, in ministry, in leadership. Thank God for the strides, the accomplishments so far. But my heart is open. My heart is open. I know there is more. My heart is open. I know there is more. I’ve seen the sick healed, but I know there is more. I have prophesied before, but I know there is more. I’ve seen you prosper me, but I know there is more. I’ve tasted of kingdom influence, but I know there is more. In Jesus name we pray.

There are two ways to be transformed in the kingdom.

Transformation is the name given to the process that makes you become like Jesus in experience.

Transformation is not just a shift in mental state. It’s not just a shift in spiritual state.

Moving from one state to the to another is not transformation. Moving from where you are to become more like Jesus is what we call transformation.

So transformation is the name given to the process that makes you become like the Christ in experience.

And there are two ways to experience transformation as a believer:

  • Number one, it is called looking onto Jesus.

When you look onto Jesus, particularly through the scripture, you are transformed. The Bible says, “He that looks onto the perfect law of liberty that you look onto Jesus as you gaze upon scripture and through the ministry of Holy Spirit.” Now, the Lord is that spirit. It says, “And where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” It says, “But we all with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of God.” It says we are changed. Is someone learning already? We are changed from glory to glory.

So when you want to transform a people, the first thing you have to do is to fix before them the reference Jesus. Transformation is difficult without a reference. You can’t change into nothing. There has to be a pictorial representation of what you are becoming.

The first way we are transformed and the first way we transform people as leaders is to guide them so that they look onto Jesus.

  • Number two, the second way people are transformed is to be followers of them. The power of structured mentorship.

The Bible says, “And be ye followers of them who through faith and patience have obtained the promise.”

There are some them, men and women, who have paid the price.

In every generation, there are always some them. They may not be many, but they are.

You will always find these them in every generation, in every territory.

They represent men and women who have made mistakes and are willing to show you their pain.

Men and women who have fished out their way out of pain, out of obscurity, they have found light. They have found power. They found the way it works.

Some of them paid a huge price to get to that place. And in honor to their sacrifice, God anoints them and causes them to be portraits. They represent his possibilities.

They become living epistles so that as you learn their life, as you follow them, as you study their materials.

You also experience transformation looking onto Jesus. The first way we are transformed. Number two, followers of them who through faith and patience have obtained not are obtaining.

Those who are on their way obtaining can inspire you. But you follow them who have obtained the promise. Not those who are talking about the promise, not those who wish the promise.

You don’t use faith that is coming. You don’t use grace that is coming. You use what has arrived.

You can learn from anyone to prosper. A poor man can teach you something. A failure can teach you something.

But if you really want to prosper in a structured way financially, you will have to follow someone who has seen, who has conquered, not by mistake, not just by inheriting it.

Every kind of result that you cannot transfer to someone was not gotten by mastery.

Any dimension in the spirit you are not able to explain and bring others into the same experience. It means you did not get there by light.

If ministry is growing by knowledge, you should be able to bring someone else into that experience. If your finances is growing by knowledge, you should be able to bring someone into that experience.

My prayer for you this morning is that you leave the realm of guessing and hoping and journey with me into the realm of mastery. Where you can lay hold on eternal life where you can know that your future is secured. Not by guessing. Not just shouting in church and say, “Oh, I will make it.” No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

You have mastered the mysteries of the kingdom. You know you can’t fail again. This is beyond just confession. You have surrounded yourself with revelations like chariots. You know you cannot fail.

  • Oh there is such a realm there is such a realm of persuasion.
  • There is such a realm of conviction.
  • There is such a realm of intention. There is such a realm of mastery.

And the Bible says, “He that strives for mastery is not crowned except he strives lawfully.”

  • Number one, I want us to re-examine the mission that we have as ministers of the gospel and leaders. I like us to look closely to the mission.

What exactly is your mission as a preacher? What is your mission as a leader? Whether business, whether political.

  • Number two, the second area that I want us to look at this morning is the vessel.

What kind of person can achieve that mission? Because not everyone can achieve that mission. There is a kind of person who can become a leader globally. There is a kind of person who can become a preacher and birth the purposes of God as he intended.

  • And then number three, we’ll look at the strategy.

We’ll be examining why in many regards the people we seek to raise are they seem to come out as poor products, I want us to reason together. What is wrong?

Why is it that in spite of the fact that we have many churches in Nigeria, many churches in Africa, many churches in Ghana, many churches in Kenya, many churches in South Africa.

It looks like the the nation the territory is not feeling the weight and the impact of the church. So what exactly is wrong? Something must be wrong.

When terrorists come into a nation, give them two years, the nation begins to feel the impact of the terrorist. They don’t have any organized institution. They hide. And yet their impact cannot be hidden.

You find kidnappings, you find burnings, you find bombings. And even though we do not believe in them, we are forced to respect their presence that they are around within a territory.

How come we have so many pastors and churches, we fall, we stand, we prophesy over one another, we preach, we hold conferences, and literally there are territories that are not even aware that God is moving. By God’s grace, this morning we’ll solve that problem. in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you, Jesus.

So, let’s examine our mission. And I like you to forgive my bias, even though I’m speaking to leaders, business leaders. I will not leave you behind but allow my bias because most of it will be tilted towards leaders in ministry, men and women of God, pastors and you know emerging leaders within the church. Hallelujah.

Now the Bible did not leave us in the dark as to God’s expectation for us. As far as the mission of the church is concerned, the church as an institution, the church as a collection of God’s people, the church as God’s strategy for frontiering his program, manifesting the grace and the glory of Jesus was not left in the dark as to the full scope of our mission.

But I submit to you and that without sounding arrogant that many Bible schools, many schools of ministry, many theological training institutes have not done well in helping the church and in helping emerging leaders, pastors understand the mission of the church.

The average believer, the average pastor cannot articulate with intelligence the full scope of the mission of the church. We know it theologically to be the great commission. But even that has not been complete.

So people pick pieces of the great commission. And when your understanding of the mission is faulty, your delivery will also be faulty.

Accurate delivery starts from an accurate holistic understanding of the mission.

I want to give you what I believe is the most concise presentation of the Great Commission.

There are three scriptures in the Bible that must be combined together to give us a whole picture of the mission of the church and the mission of every man of God.

Scripture number one is found in Mark 16:15

  •  So the first command is to go and preach. And it says to preach the gospel to every creature. Go ye into all the world. It didn’t say wait for them to come.

Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Now most preachers stop here. Most disciplehip platforms stop here.

As powerful as this is, if this is your only understanding of the mission of the church, then you only have one over three of the mission of the church. Go ye and preach the gospel.

  • The word preach means to declare.
  • The word preach means to proclaim.

So the first mission is to proclaim the gospel. But the gospel here is the gospel of salvation.

The gospel of salvation is not the only gospel.

There are seven gospels.

One of it and the foundational gospel is called the gospel of salvation.

That is the declaration of the love of God revealed in and through the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus to the end that all who believe might have:

  • One the forgiveness of sin.
  • Number two, the gift of righteousness.
  • Number three, the life of God. What you call eternal life. That is the gospel.

You find that in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, John 3:16. All these together give you a collection of the gospel of salvation.

  • Second commission, Matthew chapter 28:18-20. The second go ye now is to go ye and teach.

So he says to teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

This one is not preaching. This one is teaching.

This one is discipling nations. It says teach them to observe all things.

Are you seeing that you don’t teach the gospel, you preach the gospel, but there are other all things.

He says, teach them the things I have commanded you. Living by faith, walking in love.

These are the elements of disciplehip. He says, teach them. And while you are at that, be assured that I am with you all way to the ends of the earth.

So if we preach alone and we do not teach, I’ll tell you what we are doing.

It’s like going to the sea to fish. When you catch the fish, you leave it there. You know what happens? It will rot. It will smell and it will begin to cause trouble for you in the boat.

Is why the evangelist will go and preach and bring in the souls. But when the teaching ministry fails to take over, you have many people in church, they stay long in church, they are born again, but they are not transformed. They are not renewed. The flesh is still alive. And over time, we give them positions of leadership without transformation, without growth. And they keep causing trouble in church. And we are wondering truly, you saw the man saved, but there’s nothing in him that looks like Jesus Christ. The lust is still there. The tendency for stealing is still there. That is the assignment of the teaching ministry.

The teaching ministry now begins to work in partnership with the Holy Spirit and the word of God to transform his thinking.

Salvation does not transform the mind of a man. No, it’s a spirit affair. Is a teaching ministry that begins to introduce that person to the culture of the kingdom.

So you find someone who is saved but he does not know how to live by faith. He does not know how to walk by love, walk in love. He does not know the value of prayer. He does not know the value of fasting. He does not know how to use his God-given authority to rot victory.

It is not the problem of the evangelist. The disciplehip of that person is poor. And can I tell you disciplehip is how you raise reformers who transform society. Without disciplehip, you cannot have the human resources that transform society.

So the second element of the Great Commission is the teaching ministry.

  • The third commission Acts 1:8. But ye shall receive power. After that the Holy Ghost is come upon you and ye shall be witnesses. Notice the third commission does not depend on going. It depends on becoming.

Even though there are jurisdictions with, but the idea is not to go and do something. The idea is to become a witness.

Ye shall be witnesses unto me in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth.

So here we have three scriptures that give us a complete balanced picture of the mission of the church.

  • Number one, to preach the gospel.
  • Number two, to disciple nations through the teaching of the word.
A communication of doctrine and the mysteries of the kingdom.
  • Number three, to become witnesses. My God, this is powerful.

That means no pastor has finished his assignment until the people who are saved become witnesses. The final product is not membership. The final product is witnesses.

So when you have a believer, a believer is like a a newly born believer is like a product. You have to pass that believer through a system and never stop until the believer’s name changes from a believer to a witness.

The only group of believers who can represent the purposes of God to his satisfaction are called witnesses, not church attendants.

No, a believer just being a believer does not have the weight, the intelligence, the training and the understanding to be the program of God and to transform society.

Have you seen the problem with the church now?

So the problem with the church is either an evangelism problem or a disciplehip problem or an empowerment problem. This is where the problems are.

If you find the church ineffective in any society, we need to investigate whether the evangelists are doing their work. Is there in gathering?

Because as fathers are dying, transiting, joining the cloud of witnesses, they are leaving gaps. There is a shift. And when there is a shift and there are no ones coming from, you know, the world into that system of training, eventually you will find a gap.

The church is like a factory turning sinners into witnesses. Turning sinners into witnesses.

And there is a three-step process that turns any sinner into a witness:

  • The first step is called salvation.

Whoever does not encounter salvation cannot become a witness.

Church attendance does not automatically translate a person to a witness.

You can be around the church for a long time, learn the church language, learn the church music.

There are many unbelievers who sing wonderful church songs. It doesn’t make them Christians. Salvation.

And I’m sorry to tell you this. There are many of our pullpits today that have downplayed and deemphasized the subject of salvation.

It’s the same way you pick someone who is not born again and then you give him responsibilities in church simply because he was a popular musician before he got born again.

You don’t inherit growth in the kingdom. It doesn’t matter your achievements. Once you are saved, you start as a child.

The business of the kingdom is different from academics and intellect. We’re dealing with the powers of darkness and the destinies of men.

The Bible says as newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the word by which you grow.

You can know a person is discipled because disciplehip cultures you. It cultures the way you speak.

When you see a young man who has been mentored, I’m not talking of one who is coming to church.

There are things you look out for:

  • Living by faith,
  • Walking in love,
  • The dignity of respect, death to the flesh.
  • Victory over mammon
  • Selflessness

But over 60 to 70% of those who eventually get to government come from the church.

That means if there’s something wrong there, we need to examine what we are doing here.

There are very specific elements of disciplehip. One of it is walking in love. One of it is living by faith. One of it is death to the flesh. One of it is victory over mammon. One of it is selflessness.

Now when you mentor a person that way and you release that kind of product, it is true that we are human but you have created a benchmark. That person becomes a blessing to society.

You imagine ordaining a group of pastors, not just pastors that you taught where to go and pastor for you, but you help them understand the sacrifice of Jesus, how to tame the flesh, how to walk in love, how to not be competitive, the value of productivity, the balance of the word, teaching doctrine. They understand the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith. When that person holds the mic, blessed are the ears that hear such a person.

So as complicated as the problems around the church are, they can be reduced to two or three major problems. And if you solve it, that’s the end of it.

Most of the troubles that we have in church, in business, in government, I can tell you products don’t create problems. It is people that create the problem. Is largely a people problem.

So we have many many people graduating from seminaries, from schools of ministry, from Bible colleges and getting into ministry handling the pit.

And sometimes because of the way the power of God, you see the power of God is very magnetic, it can draw people in a moment. But when they come, then you find out they are ill-fed.

Not because the person feeding them is wicked. He can only teach what he knows.

You want to change society, minimize your shouting around government, come to the church.

When we can correct many things in the church because in most territories in Africa the governments respect the church at least in some way that means transformation at a national level is very easy.

We are blessed as an as the African continent to have you know government and leaders in various ways at least they are sympathetic to the things of God it’s an advantage the idea is not to roam around them trying to collect money from them. The idea is to go and tell them, listen, I have something I can teach you. I can help you.

Imagine a discipled business strategist or a discipled leader going to do a two-day seminar for members in parliament. You don’t need to be a fanatic, but you would transport the intelligence of your disciplehip and weave it through the secular program and produce a people with a strong sense of nationhood.

Pastors, please listen to me. Be humble enough to go back to the drawing board and ask yourself this question. What kind of products am I producing from my sermons? What kind of products? Because you will be judged.

There are three kinds of men of God:

  1. Fake,
  2. Ignorant,
  3. Efficient and accurate.

Most people think they are just two. A fake man of God and a real man of God. No, there are many real men of God destroying others.

You can be genuine, but if you are not equipped, you will still destroy worse than a fake person.

So the idea is not just to be a genuine man of God. The idea is to be an effective man of God. An effective man of God.

I made a covenant with myself that all the people God has brought to me apostolically and across the globe, I see it as a trust and I owe them building their destinies, building their lives with every sermon. Doesn’t matter what I say. I know that I owe an explanation onto God.

I can’t wake up and stand on the pull pit and teach them nonsense and just and joke around and share the grace and leave. No, someone’s efficiency depends on my sermons. And if God has given me that honor, then I should not betray that honor.

So preachers, you see that we have a lot of repentance to do because sincerely speaking, some of us have converted the pull pit to a place of jesting and merchandise and all kinds of drama that goes on. We waste the time of God’s people. They give us two hours of their time, 3 hours of their time. A man will carry his wife and children, come to church and leave a more foolish version of himself. He was better off. He remained at home because for 2 hours he kept hearing things that were not laced with wisdom, no intelligence, is not pragmatic. It’s not life applicable.

I’ll tell you this, I have studied church growth. One of the elements of church growth is the pragmatism and the applicability of your sermons.

Not everybody is looking for bread. There are people who are already blessed. They are coming to learn at their level. There are certain kinds of people you can never have in your congregation if you do not upgrade your understanding lace with a life of discipline and diligence.

There’s a way you jump around and misbehave as a man of God. You have placed an embargo on yourself and your church.

Serious responsible people would not come and sit down that way. No, they are too serious to joke their lives around. I hope you are not offended. I’m sorry is a leadership session.

And those who have the finances to support you are not jokers. They examine you. They are intelligent people. Some of them are doctors, professors, learned people. They have stretched their intellect from border to border.

Be the fact that they listening to you patiently does not mean they are impressed. They assess you, your character, your manner, your doctrine, the purity of what you are communicating. It is from those lens they decide whether they want to support you or not.

There are people who say no my $1 will not go to this man. I rather give it to a charity organization. They have concluded you are not serious.

And pastors, let me give you an advice. Don’t be beguiled by every clap that happens after your statements. Sometimes it’s just ignorant people enjoying themselves. I’m not I’m not I’m not insulting you. Please don’t don’t find I’m telling you that sometimes pastors say a lot of unwise things and people just shout and they really believe they are making sense. I will say this in the evening. It’s it’s us talking to ourselves. Hallelujah.

Now please allow me allow me say a word to younger ministers those who are on campus and other ministries.

Please, pastors, hear me. If God has helped you to go find ministry a bit, I want you to know you will be judged for how you raise the people under you. Don’t destroy them. These are the troubles we’re having in society.

Remember I asked us to pray together and ask God for grace. Remember our prayer.

So the mission of the church, the church was never supposed to be separated from the matters that that happen around society. No, we are the light of the world. We are the salt of the earth.

But if the church is ignorant of its mission, we will continue to pray for crowds to come. They will fall, they will shout, we will cry with them. We may be well intention, but nothing will change eventually.

Let me tell you this or anything from you know what is happening with the younger people. It’s a generation of people who are asking questions nobody’s answering.

The generation of our parents was a generation of loyalty. Even if they don’t believe you, they say, “Let’s just go. It’s how we met it.” But now the younger people are vocal. They ask questions. They understand they are right. That means every society is in trouble. Preachers have a lot of questions to answer.

And we better start answering it now before they come to the door of our houses and say, “You ask me to be your member. I am your member.” Ask answer why I’ve been two years in your church and I’m not productive now. I don’t You told me God blesses me. I’m married. I have a wife. I have a child. You’ve told me to not be corrupt. Show me the superior alternative. Show me the superior alternative.

So my call to pastors, well done for what we have done so far. It would be a lie to say we’ve not done well. Honestly, we’ve done the best we know to do. But I I submit to you and I suggest to you respectfully. Let’s go back to the drawing board and begin to examine the content. The content.

Better little with integrity than plenty when there’s compromise.

And let me tell you this, don’t say it does not matter. Don’t say it does not matter. It does not matter is what has destroyed Africa. We say it doesn’t matter. It does matter.

Pay the people their salary. It does matter. If they labor, pay them. The Lord of Saboth is watching. Pay them, promote them if they are deserving.

Don’t enjoy the profit and go alone as a businessman and say God is good and you are testifying in church and some of the members are there. Let’s go to our homes. Husband, never do for anybody anything you have not done for your wife. Start with your home. Hallelujah.

Don’t don’t don’t buy a car and bring for me and build me a house and you’ve not paid your children’s school fees. No, that’s being foolish. I will send you back with all due respect.

Show that you have listened to my sermons by how effective your home becomes.

Every pastor has a responsibility to go back and rework your understanding of the mission.

Preach the gospel. Teach the word.

And the word here means number one doctrine. Comes from the Greek word didascalia. The Hebrew is doctrina or the Latin is doctrina. It means a set of beliefs that turns a student to reflect the competence of his master. Doctrine. And then the mysteries of the kingdom.

And then number three, to be witnesses. That means you don’t have to pray in tongues before I verify that you’re a Christian. If you have to pray in tongues in my presence to verify you’re a Christian, something is wrong with you.

I should immediately as you open up your mouth, you reveal the dexterity of your training.

A young man who has been discipled, I watch your approach when elderly people are passing. Hi, I know you are not discipled to someone who is your grandmother. No, you are not discipled. You see her carrying something heavy and you can just show assistance and you don’t say it’s not my you pocket your hand while she’s talking. You are not discipled. You’ve not understood the value of honor because that person may have what it takes to open your door.

The woman can look at you and say, “Young man, please come.” You behaved yourself very well. What do you do? Well, I’m a graduate. I don’t have any job yet. What did you study? this and that who trained you so so and so come not knowing by the next day you can become a secretary immediately.

You see let me tell you this prayer can draw your answers but disciplehip positions you to receive the answers well prayer and prophecy can bring your destiny helper and poor character or bad habits can make the person to leave you in anger

So when the Bible says war with prophecy, it doesn’t just mean to pray alone. It also means to carry the traits that help you receive. Hallelujah.

I think we’ve we’ve we’ve delved into the second discussion, the vessel.

Not everybody can host the glory of God.

  • No, it will take Salvation,
  • Transformation, and
  • Empowerment.

Salvation is instant. Empowerment is instant. A major part of the journey is transformation.

Look at Jesus. The empowerment came on the day of Pentecost in one moment, but it took three and a half years to prepare them for that one encounter.

Pastors, with all due respect, let’s not be in a hurry to lay hands and impart on people. The ratio of transformation to empowerment based on Jesus’s strategy was three and a half years to one day.

Don’t be in a hurry to lay hands on people. Lay hand on a mind that is transformed. then you will produce a victorious believer.

There are laws for impartation

  • One of it is preparedness, the preparedness of the heart.

My son, give me your heart and let your ears incline to my ways. Then you will be ready to receive the anointing. Hallelujah.

So I said there are three steps transitting a man from a sinner to a witness. One is salvation. Number two, transformation. Number three, empowerment.

Salvation is instant. The moment you believe in Jesus, the son of the living God, you receive salvation.

Empowerment can come on you in one day, one moment, one impartation.

The real journey is transformation. The process that makes you become like Christ. Now, let me tell you how it works.

So here is an unbeliever. I I don’t like to call them sinners. The word sinners sounds very insultive for me. I just like to say unbelievers.

So here’s an unbeliever through the preaching of the gospel and the preaching of the gospel alone. that unbeliever upon declaring the lordship of Jesus according to scripture becomes saved not transformed he’s not a witness he’s now a believer in Jesus Christ but he’s called an infant in other word is a babe the Bible calls such a person the moment you get into Christ as a newborn babe you are an infant no matter how old you are no matter how successful you were Your spiritual name is an infant.

Now, as an infant, there are three ministries that must be introduced to your life to journey you through the process of transformation:

  • Number one, the ministry of the Holy Spirit connected to the ministry of prayer.
  • Number two, the ministry of the word.
  • Number three, the ministry of a pastor or a teaching priest.
If you are saved and you are not fortunate to encounter these three ministries, that’s where the problem of your stuntedness spiritually begins.

Again, to anyone who gets saved and born again by an evangelist, by a tract, a TV program, a broadcast, doesn’t matter how you came into Christ, now that you are in Christ, you are welcome. The next port of call is that you must trust God for grace to encounter the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

Number two, the ministry of the word.

Number three, the ministry of a teaching priest. Not just a good priest, a teaching priest.

Those of you here who are into crusades missions, let me counsel you. Whilst you are preparing the grounds to have a mixed multitude come, please create a strategy and a structure for the growth of those who are saved because those people will later become the men of God who will help you or continue from where you leave off and how you train them matters. This is true for pastors and is true for every believer.

So you are introduced to the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the ministry of the word and the teaching priest.

What happens to you? The word of God begins to recalibrate your spiritual understanding. Gradually, it’s not an instant process.

  • You learn how to die to the flesh.
  • You learn how to live by faith.
  • You learn how to walk in love.
  • You learn the honor of dignity, productivity, value.
  • You learn human relation principles.
  • You learn how to speak the word, how to culture your mind.
  • You learn the power of a superior belief system.

As you are mentored, you are growing. Then you get to a phase where you have sufficient knowledge. Then you receive an impartation. When that empowerment comes upon you, your name changes from being a believer to a witness.

At that point, God can trust you. He can send you to the government. He can send you to the banking sector. He can send you with trust knowing you have been trained. Have you seen how it’s supposed to be?

The church should not only raise men of God, it should raise witnesses so that when we go to the bank in Ghana, there are witnesses there. When we go to the tech world, there are witnesses there. When we go to arts and entertainment, there are witnesses there.

When we go to the schools, there are witnesses there. The professor is an intelligent person. But do not make a mistake of downplaying him. He’s also a prophet. He has an eye that sees. And when there is trouble in the institution, he will take off his professorial gown and lock the door and begin to pray in the spirit and say, “Satan, you left church and came to my school here. there is still a witness. I bind you by the power of the Holy Spirit.

He will wear back his robe and go to the faculty board meeting and begin to speak intelligently. That was a Daniel strategy. Daniel was a prophet. But Daniel also knew he knew how to function in government.

I made a covenant as a man of God that I will raise passionate people who love Jesus, but I will never raise fanatics. I don’t believe in fanatism. I believe in passion that is directed towards a curse with purpose and balance. Hallelujah.

Breathe Upon by Apostle Selman

Glory to God. Let me tell you what I see from this teaching this morning. I see leaders who have a resolve to go back and begin to correct things and begin to make changes in their churches, in their organizations. and I release grace upon you. I release grace upon you. I release grace upon you in the name of Jesus.

Let me challenge you, pastor. Go back and reorder your church and watch the quality of people who begin to come. Your basket will begin to fetch all kinds of fishes.

You will begin to attract not only now I don’t say that to downplay the church is not a business organization but I’m saying that the what you are you are selling Jesus the idea selling there is not transactional, you are announcing you are communicating Jesus impact cannot be sustainable until it is branded and one of the ways you brand impact is with excellent sincerity and clarity clarity charity.

Some of you as pastors, you have done well carrying the anointing. You may need to submit yourself to a season of training to clean up other things you could not get.

But as a man of God, you don’t have the liberty to choose an area because you are dealing with a diverse group of people. You must be vast and broad in your understanding.

I made up my mind as a man of God that my relevance will not end on the pullpit. That means if I drop the mic, I’m useless to every other thing in society. No sir. No sir. No sir.

What do you do with the business leaders God brings to you? What do you do with the diplomats God brings to you? What do you do with some of the people?

Do you understand the language of the palace? Do you know how to raise kings? Genesis 17 and verse 6.

Great leaders and great preachers don’t go looking for men of God or looking for people who are wealthy. You raise them. It says, “I will make doe exceedingly fruitful. I will make nations of thee and kings shall come out. Come out.”

My greatest testimony as a man of God from an impact standpoint, sincerely speaking, second to soul winning, my greatest testimony as a man of God is not the working of miracles, it’s not the healings, it’s not the deliverances, it’s not the global recognitions. I bless God for that.

But my greatest testimony as a man of God are testimonies or testaments of transformed lives. Testament of transformed lives that an irresponsible man who could not take care of his family meandered his way to your program and that became his salvation.

That’s a real testimony that someone who would have destroyed society came into your program. You don’t need five meetings. One meeting was enough to begin to initiate the process to his transformation.

Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, we have underestimated the power that’s been invested in us and the power that’s been invested in priesthood because we have ignored our passion for transformation.

Transformation is a process that raises reformers. And when you have reformers in mass, I submit to you, I’ve studied the political process of many African nations with the current political structure, not much can be done because one good person in the midst of many people having a diverse mentality, it will be it will overwhelm this any sincere passion.

You need to have a strong momentum of likeminded people. Like-minded people.

  • I made a covenant with God that nobody serves with me and goes down. If I cannot afford lifting you, I will release you to a nobler person, not destroy you.
  • Number two, the greatest definition of success for me is not acquisitions, it’s impact.

Thank God for acquisitions, but I tell you sincerely, you want to see tears come out of my eyes is beyond a car in front of me or beyond I’m not saying enjoy all of those things, but let me see a transformed life and you have touched my heart.

Leaders, we must redefine our priorities. We must redefine. When you study global leadership, one of the indices of transformational leadership is your passion for selflessness. You desire to see people an improved version of you.

In Africa, we pride over acquisitions and we’ve spilled these things sadly to the church. It must change. Man of God is a wonderful thing to prosper. I’m not against prosperity. No.

But beyond acquiring things, your greatest gift will be the gift of men you have raised.

Can I tell you this? I don’t know any leader who will remain poor and uninfluential in the presence of quality men that you have raised. They become the ladders that preserve your testimonial.

But you can acquire things at the detriment of men. They will fight you when they have the power to. Hallelujah.

I preached a message many years ago called the law of seasons.

Taking a reference from Joseph’s dream, I mean Pharaoh’s dream. We’ll find somewhere and pray. Pharaoh had a dream, sir. And that dream was twice. That dream was solving a national problem. Pharaoh said, “I went to bed and I saw seven fat cows and then they were eaten by seven lean cows.” I saw the same thing with the plants. And Joseph said, “The cows are not about cows. They are about the years of a man’s life.”

Life is divided into four seasons:

  • The season where you start, the season where you maximize moments, the seasons where you consolidate and the season where you rest whether you like it or not.

I divide it into the first 25 years or 25 years circle. The first 25 years of your life represents your morning stage. That is also when you learn. You are permitted to make mistakes and go scot-free. Life has a system of immunity for you when you at that point.

  • The second phase is from 26 to 50. It should be the prime of your achievement.

It’s like the sun shining at its greatest strength in the afternoon. Is the season for maximum achievement.

  • The next is from 51 to 70 or thereabout. 51 to 75.

I think that is the state of legacy and consolidation. When you get to that state, you should not be thinking of building things again. You should be thinking of giving back.

  • And from 75 downwards, it should be rest.

I’m speaking in parables. You will now know what is wrong with Africa.

Now look at me please ladies and gentlemen by the time you don’t invest in your seven years of plenty after that the seven years of drought that comes will eat up everything you have done.

Nobody remains on the stage forever.

No, matter how effective you are, life is in seasons. But there is a way you can be relevant even when you are not on the stage because the person on the stage will bring you back to stand with him because you transformed his life. Are you getting what I’m saying now?

Dr. Miles Monro of blessed memory has gone to heaven. But some of us by the grace of God today have become extensions of his legacy.

We will force the generations that were not born when he died to remember that he lived because we are we have immortalized his impact.

Jesus served for three and a half years and he was secured enough to leave. But because of our presence on earth, creation will keep calling that name Jesus. It’s a leadership secret.

You do not have to be on stage to remain relevant forever.

The secret is to immortalize your impact by raising others. So that even when you are outside of stage, they will keep making reference to you and the spotlight will remain on you even when you are gone.

Let me tell you this as a personal principle. If I come to you as a leader and you have been around for a long time, my respect for you is only heightened if you can show me the people who can replicate you at least two or three.

You want to see the glory of God, there are things you must do. You want to see the glory of God upon your life.

You want God to trust you with membership, with organizations, with resources.

These are the disciplines that attract the glory. It is not superstition.

No, before Christ returns, there are individuals that God is going to be trusting with kingdom influence. God is going to be trusting with power. God is going to be trusting with wealth. God is going to be trusting with access. But so that we don’t become a reproach to his program, he’s placed it upon the heart of the archbishop. Are you seeing why you should celebrate our father, the archbishop, for creating a platform like you didn’t pay to sit down? Let me tell you this.

What I’ve taught you is called transformational leadership.

The kind of leadership that changes the leader from inside out and then empowers such a one to raise not just followers but to transform followers to leaders and then leaders to agents of change agents of national territorial societal transformation.

Some of you on hearing what I’m saying now, the Holy Ghost is going to plan visions in you to start building a leadership institute, not just a church institute to build a leadership institute and start giving scholarship to young people.

Build a leadership institute and give a scholarship to 100 pastors every year so that in addition to what they’ve learned in ministry, they can come and learn other things to put balance

And for anyone who is receiving these kinds of visions, may God send help for you in the name of Jesus Christ.

I believe in churches. If the church is functioned the way Jesus intended it to be, the church was never supposed to be a boring place with people sleeping and snoring during the sermon.

You imagine what you received in one meeting and imagine if everyone listening to this as a pastor were a member of your church. Do you think they will come back next week? Oh yes, they will. And they will not come alone. This is a news that is too transformational.

Let me tell you something with people in the presence of results. They become evangelists automatically. When they find real results, they each to draw someone. Come and hear.

The woman said, “Come see a man.” Jesus did not tell them, “Go and bring people. Come see a man.” The madman in gatherer when he was impacted.

Evangelism was not supposed to be engineered by force. It was supposed to be a response to your own personal transformation. Hallelujah.

In the Bible Paul was speaking to the church in Corinth and he made a profound statement. He introduced the concept of architecture in building.

And Paul began to call his fellow ministers wise master builders.

So Paul likened building men to building a house. And he said that God’s desire for us.

He spoke about being wise master builders. Find the scripture for me please. Let me tell you what it means to be a a wise master builder.

To be a wise master builder means to build men.

God bless you. 1 Corinthians 3:10 according to the grace which is given to me as a wise master builder. He says I have laid the foundation and another buildth. But let every man take heed how he buildeth. He’s talking about building men.

Leadership is about building men. building men more than influencing them. Influencing them is only a strategy to ultimately build them.

When you influence people, I define for you what influence is.

Influence in my definition is the capacity to cause men to buy into your ideologies, to buy into your convictions, to buy into your beliefs without using force or cruelty influence.

When you compel people to buy into your belief systems, to buy into your ideologies, to buy into your disciplines, your value system without using force or cruelty, you have influenced them.

And the goal of influence is to ultimately build them.

So he’s talking here about a wise master builder as a preacher, as a CEO. More than building products, build men. When you build men, they will preserve the heritage of the church, the company. The organization. Build men.

There are three ways to build men. So building men was supposed to produce consistency if we follow the plan.

So, the quality of Christians, the quality of witnesses, allow my bias to talk about the African continent. We need to reexamine the program because God gave us his program. He did not leave us to invent a program. It’s a risk to invent our own program

In building men. There are three areas to focus on. Please allow me the honor of making these submissions and then we’ll pray.

You can never build a wholesome, dexterous people if you don’t build them around along these three areas:

  • Number one, you want to become a wise master builder, as a preacher, as a leader. The first area to build in people is The nature of Christ.

The end point of that building is that you produce a people who have the fruit of the spirit and a people who have character.

Please listen pastors in building men. Before you start teaching them about prosperity, before you start teaching them about liftings, you will teach them. But don’t corrupt the curriculum.

There is a way you need to start. Teaching somebody about finances when you’ve not taught him death to the flesh is only promoting lust.

There is what he should learn first before some other thing. It is line upon line, precept upon precept. the nature of Christ.

  • This is where you teach believers death to the flesh.
  • This is where you teach them the value of the spirit life.
  • This is where you teach them the excellency of being dexterous in character.

So that when you find a believer who has been taught along that area, it doesn’t matter what you name the topics, but they should ultimately build the character of Christ in the person. The character of love, of joy, void of hatred. By the time you are done with that believer, the elements of the flesh like unforgiveness, hatred, jealousy, competition, this is where it dies.

Now if you jump this section of the teaching and start teaching him other things, you will have a powerful Christian who is still jealous, envious, lustful, hateful.

Wise master builders, the first port of call is to build in men the nature and the character of Christ. where Galatians 5:22, Colossians 3, Colossians 4 becomes they put on Christ.

When you are done, the next section of the training is the wisdom of Christ.

Don’t forget the nature of Christ, producing Christlike character, the fruit of the spirit, love being the greatest.

  • Number two, the wisdom of Christ.

Now, I tell you this, as much as it is powerful to teach men on the nature of Christ so that they become people of character, if they are people of character and they lack wisdom, they will not go forward with their lives. They won’t build anything. You will be full of good people who are struggling and their struggle will begin to lead them back to compromise. So, they need wisdom.

Wisdom is responsible for building anything at all. When you begin to communicate the wisdom of Christ, you will raise leaders. You will raise CEOs. You will raise responsible fathers. Wisdom here talks of the compendium of the mysteries of the kingdom. There are many good people in church. They won’t steal. They won’t kill. They won’t do anything bad. They won’t sleep around. But they do not have results in their life. And they are frustrated because people can clearly see the nature of Christ in them but there are no results.

When Jesus saw the fig tree, the fig tree was beautiful, likened to character, but Jesus wanted fruit. And because it did not have fruit, even though the leaves were clean, they were not withered, he still caused it. Zero tolerance for unfruitfulness.

There are five mandates God gave man. One of it is the mandate to be fruitful. It’s called the dominion mandate. You have not chosen me. John 15:16. But I have chosen you and ordained you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain. Longevity of fruitfulness.

Everybody say wisdom. Pastors, when you have, not to feel insulted, when you have low level living, low quality living people as congregants, I show you the way to raise them. They will come as the men who came to David in the cave of Adulam. They will come in debt. They will come sick. They will come dejected.

Is the assignment of wisdom to build them. Through wisdom, a house is built. By understanding it is established through knowledge the rooms are filled with every pleasurable thing. It says wisdom is the principle thing. Therefore get wisdom and with all your getting understanding. Exalt her and she shall promote you. She shall put an ornament of glory. A crown of glory shall she put on your head when thou dost embrace her. It says not wisdom cry. By me kings reign and princes rule. With me are riches, wealth, and honor. Yeah, durable riches and righteousness. Those that love me, he says, those that seek me early, wisdom. You show them the way of prayer. You show them the way of discipline.

  • You show them the way of diligence.
  • You show them the creative power of the spoken word.
  • You show them the law of honor.
  • You show them what it means to live by faith, wisdom. You raise mighty men.

So you start with character but then you don’t stop there. Wisdom is a builder. And then I’ll give you number three. When you build in them the wisdom of Christ.

  • The next is empowerment. They must experience the power of Christ.

It doesn’t stop at wisdom alone. Demons don’t care whether you are wise or not. They will oppress you and they will destroy anything they can destroy. You can build a company but one cause from darkness can come and scatter everything. If you doubt it, ask Job.

They need to be empowered. All these things I’m teaching you, you find it in the prayer of Paul in Ephesians chapter 1 from verse 16 down to 19. You don’t just stop at teaching them character and then teaching them wisdom.

They need power. Psalm 66:3 say unto God, “How terrible art thou in thy works. It is through the greatness of thy power that the enemies submit themselves to you.”

Micah 3 and:8 surely I am full of power by the spirit of the Lord.

Acts 4 and:33 and with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus spent three and a half years selling wisdom for them. But he said tarry don’t go only with a message tarry until ye be endued with power.

A believer who has the nature of Christ plus the wisdom of Christ plus the power of Christ equals to the fullness of Christ.

The nature of Christ plus the wisdom of Christ plus the power of Christ equals to the fullness of Christ.

That is the architecture that was given to the believer that makes you called a wise master builder.

Now if you teach the nature of Christ alone, you will produce a certain kind of Christian. They won’t steal but they can’t improve society. They can’t add value. Value is almost zero.

If you produce people by emphasizing the wisdom of Christ, you will have people who will have the wisdom of the serpent because they don’t have the heart of Christ. They will start stealing money right from your church because they don’t have the fear of the Lord. But they are intelligent people. You will raise gifted rebels.

When you teach people on the power of Christ, they will see miracles, signs, wonders, the gift of the spirit. But the issues you will have in church will almost you want to die of heart attack.

Some of the most anointed people will cause you the greatest problems, character problems, all kinds of problems. And you’ll be wondering how come you are so anointed is because you omitted something in the architecture.

Every trouble in the church is because an aspect of these three areas was overemphasized or underemphasized.

When you emphasize the nature of Christ and downplay the wisdom and the power of Christ, you will produce sincere people. But their value and contribution will be next to nothing.

  • When you emphasize on the wisdom of Christ, you will raise leaders, successful men, builders.
  • But in doing so, there will be people will compromise with no fear.
  • But when you emphasize the power of Christ, you will have a crowd. You will have people come, but you will never know who to trust or who to not trust. Because you will draw forth a mixed multitude.

Power is like a magnet. It draws anybody. Even Satan will be there. You want to raise reformers, transformers, nation building witnesses, whether as businessmen or as pastors. I present to you the template, the nature of Christ, the wisdom of Christ, the power of Christ. That is the curriculum that produces a witness.

If you forgot everything I shared, let’s say for any reason you were so distracted, just remember the last few words that in raising men and in building men, this is not limited to pastors.

As a CEO, you want to produce people who are not corrupt, who will not give you headache.

Transform the nature of Christ into programs. You don’t have to be fanatic about it, but transform the fruit of the spirit into programs and inject it in the people. You will still get the result of the nature of Christ.

It’s only that the Holy Ghost is the one who empowers men to fully manifest the nature of Christ because the flesh is also empowered by his spirit.

The nature of Christ the wisdom of Christ.

Parents, use this to raise your children, the nature of Christ. But don’t stop there. Don’t just tell them be a good person. They are entering a world that is value-driven. You will produce frustrated children who don’t steal, they don’t kill, they don’t sleep around, but they will not grow to become anything. You teach them the wisdom of Christ. Expose them to the strategies that makes for influence and victory.

And then in all you’re doing, invest in helping them encounter the power of the spirit.

We live in a vicious world. It takes force, a level of spiritual aggression to command your portion.

Your portion does not come to you because you want it. It comes because you demand for it.

Africa, we have done well with the power part.

The third part is usually where the charismatic Pentecostal circles we’ve done very well. You don’t need to throw it away. But we need to do a reverse engineering over our curriculum and add to power wisdom and add to wisdom character. Then we’ll produce a more effective believer.

We have three prayer points have been instructed for us to pray.

Please pray for your neighbor. Pray for your neighbor. Pray for your neighbor.

Father, thank you. Blessed are the eyes that have seen, the ears that have heard. Thank God for the gift of your neighbor.

He says, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. they shall prosper who love you in Jesus name we pray. I’ve stretched you. I would not take more than necessary time.

But I want us to pray. And the first prayer is we’re going to pray for the church in Ghana, the pastors, apostles, prophets, three prayer points in one. We’re going to pray that those who have followed the way of compromise that God by his mercy will bring them back.

We’re tired of a lot of nonsense on the pit. There is hope for a tree for the sake of the name of Christ. We’re going to ask him to rise and defend his name.

That the pastors who have literally the Bible said the people who sat in darkness, not that they are running away from it, they sat in it that God will show them mercy.

And number two, those who are sincere but ignorant that God will upgrade their understanding. And then those who are cutting edge and effective that God will give them the staying power to remain.

Please lift your voice in one minute. Pray. Don’t criticize. Pray. Don’t insult. Pray. Insulting and criticizing does not produce a result. You pray. One minute. We are praying. Mention your various regions.

Use action chapel as a point of contact. Pray for the church in Ghana. Pray for the pastors. Mention them by name if you know them. Whether you like them or not, show mercy, oh God, over your church. Raise people of integrity. Raise people of character. Raise men and women of wisdom. raise men and women who are empowered, manifest in the fullness of Christ.

Pray that those who have found themselves in the shadows of compromise that God by his mercy will deliver them from all kinds of extra biblical practices, all kinds of detestable practices that God will show them the way to light.

Pray for those who are sincere but are in ignorance that God will enlighten them. They will ascend by light.

Pray for those who are the cutting edge of God’s program that they will not be carried away with pride. In Jesus name we pray.

Number two, we’re going to pray for all business leaders, political leaders. Please pray. Oh, pray. Pray. Doesn’t matter what political party. Doesn’t matter. I don’t even know the names of your political party, but pray for your leaders. Father, breathe upon their minds. Let them lead with integrity.

Pray for the business community. Pray for the senior executives. Go ahead and pray in the name of Jesus. the wisdom to bring greater development in Ghana spreading across the West African region that their integrity of heart, their dexterity of understanding will attract foreign investors. They will come into your nation.

They will invest by the power of the Holy Spirit. bankers, institutions that God will empower men and women to build institutions that become shapers of convictions. In Jesus name we pray. We’re still praying.

Is it all right if I ask you to pray for your president down to your members of parliament? Do you believe in prayer? Lift your voice in one minute and pray for him. Pray for the president of Ghana, for wisdom. Pray for grace. Pray for your members of parliament.

Pray for God’s sake that leaders will lead with conscience the fear of the Lord and a sense of posterity across your regions.

Pray. Pray that God will empower him. Empower all your leaders. I see them projecting the names of leaders that God will work upon their heart that they will detest a life of corruption, compromise, the desire for gain more than the desire for impact. They will lead with integrity. This is a praying church. This is a prophetic church. We pray for the leaders in Ghana. May God show them mercy that together they will move Ghana to its prophetic destiny that there will be greater development from the common man to the privileged class. Everyone will feel the impact in Jesus name we pray. Hallelujah.

Now let me request respectfully that we pray for his imminence the archbishop. Is it all right if we pray for him? Please cry like you are praying for somebody you love. Lift up your voice. Clap your hands and pray. Father in the name of Jesus preserve him. Preserve him. Someone who loves him pray. Increase him. Bless him. Please pray from your heart. Bless his children. Bless his wife. Bless his family. Prophesy Psalm 112. Blessed is the man that fearth the Lord, who delights greatly in his commands. His seed shall be mighty upon earth. The generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house. Psalm 112 verses 1 to4. and his righteousness endures forever. Pray for him that in old age he will be fat and flourishing. Pray for him that he will live to a 100 and even beyond. Like another prophetess, he will see the consolation of Israel. He will see the consolation of Ghana in his lifetime, the investments of years of prayer and prophetic intercession that God will give him the honor of watching a new generation arise of prophets, of apostles, of teachers, of leaders in Jesus name We pray in Jesus name we pray.

I speak over your life that everything you have heard may it not stand against you. It says now that ye know these things happy are you if you do them.

I release the doing grace on you. The doing grace. The grace that controls performance. Now that you have heard the grace to do, receive it.

The grace to make the required adjustments. Receive it. The grace to make the required improvements. Receive it. In Jesus name we pray. Hallelujah.

And the only thank you gift I want you to give me this morning is to get this message to someone you know needs to hear it but could not make it. Maybe your spouse, maybe a CEO. Don’t don’t don’t be rude and send a message and say, “I found what is wrong with you.” Don’t speak like that. You will lose your job.

Present it as a birthday gift. put it in a flash drive and and then add it with a cake and give someone as a birthday gift.

Whatever you need to do, get the word out so that it will transform people. Thank you for giving me the honor to bring you this word. The Lord bless you in Jesus name. Put it together.

Can you just stretch forth your hands? Let’s stretch forth your hands towards Apostle.

Say in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, oh Lord, Lord, empower your man’s servant.

Empower your man’s servant. Pour grace from on high upon his life.

Let him be replenished in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, say no weapon by the enemy formed will prosper
