Father, we thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ: Thank You because You sent Him to reconcile mankind to You.
Thank You for His death, burial, and resurrection!
Thank You because the grave was not the end for Jesus. Thank You because He rose up, and today He is seated at the right hand of The Father.
Tonight Father, we ask that You open our eyes to see, and our hearts to understand.
Grant us an understanding of Your wisdom and Your Word, in the name of Jesus Christ!
A true understanding of the depth of what Jesus Christ did, and the more you understand what He went through, the more it calls for a commemoration (a time for reflection), beyond a celebration.
“And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:” Ephesians 1:19-21 (KJV)
It is healthy to have a strong theological understanding of what really happened as per the earth-walk of Jesus Christ – His birth, death, burial, and resurrection – so that it can become a revelation and an anchor, for the Believer’s journey.
“And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, [20] which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places” – Ephesians 1:19-20 (KJV)
The context of Apostle Paul’s prayer in the scripture above, reveals that the highest and greatest demonstration of the power of The God-head was not in creation, but in resurrection.
The display of the power of the God-head in the power of resurrection, far superceded the power in creation, healing or in miracles i.e. The power that was demonstrated in raising Jesus Christ from Hades, and bringing Him back to the world of humans, levitating Him in ascension, and having Him now seat at the right-hand of The Father.

I pray for you, may the revelation needed for your destiny, needed for your walking in dominion and in victory, I pray, may this Service be like a re-filling for you, in the name of Jesus Christ!
Resurrection Sunday (also known as Easter) is a commemoration, which means:
1. To bring to remembrance.
2. To mark as important.
3. To show honour.
It is a celebration of one of the most important pillars of the Christian faith, which is the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. (Luke 24:1-12)
You must believe the earth-walk of Jesus as revealed in Scripture, which gives us a record of Jesus at different stages of His life.
The Bible reveals His humanity, temptations, teachings, compassion and miraculous deeds.
Why Did Jesus Come To The Earth?:
1. He came as an accurate representation of the misunderstood God. (Acts 10:38, Psalm 145:8)
He came to correct a prior understanding of our knowledge of God, as no-one had an accurate understanding before His coming.
2. He came to reconcile mankind to God through His substitutionary sacrifice.
3. He came as a pattern-man, creating a model of a victorious life here on earth, showing us God’s idea of a victorious life.
Jesus came as a marking script: a revelation to mankind, and a bodily representation of God to us, to correct misconceptions about Who God is.
The gospel of salvation has six components:
1. The divinity/incarnation of Jesus Christ. (John 1:1,14).
2. The earth-walk of Jesus.
3. The death of Jesus. (John 15:13)
4. The burial of Jesus. (This is proof that He really died: it gave evidence to Jesus’ death.)
5. The resurrection of Jesus. (1 Corinthians 15:3-7)
6. The exaltation and enthronement of Jesus. (Ephesians 1:20-21, Philippians 2:5-11, Hebrews 12:2)
The death of Jesus Christ gave Him the legal right to go to Hades, and finish the claims of justice.
The victory that Jesus purchased on the cross covers seven (7) areas:
1. Victory over sin.
2. Victory over satan and demon-spirits.
3. Victory over hell – not only hell as a location, but as a spirit.
4. Victory over the grave.
5. Victory over death.
6. Victory over the world.
7. Victory over the flesh.
You cannot understand the discussion of salvation, without understanding the six components of salvation.
The components of salvation, help our understanding that Jesus was God, with God, and He wore a mortal body. We must believe that Jesus undertook the normal biological stages of growth, revealing His humanity.
His death gave him legal access to fulfil prophecy and His burial gave evidence to His death, because the burial was done openly, so as to give witness to validate the claim.
In His exaltation and enthronement, we understand that Jesus left with His body, so we are convinced of His return. In His return, He will not need a virgin-birth again, since He is still with His body, giving legal access back to the earth.
Jesus’ Words are dependable: because the riskiest statements He made of His prophecy about His death, burial, resurrection and ascension, He fulfilled them. This strengthens our faith in any other words He has said.
Many people think Jesus only died to defeat sin or satan, but His victory is complete, spanning all seven dimensions of sin, satan, hell, the grave, death, the law and the flesh.
There is no other statement Jesus will say over your life that is riskier than what He said about His death, burial and resurrection.
If he tells you that you have a bright tomorrow, you believe Him, regardless of what you have seen or not seen. If He did it before, He can do it again!
Declare: I BELIEVE IN JESUS!
If satan could not stop Jesus, including His resurrection from the dead, he definitely cannot stop your destiny!
Jesus said that He will die and rise again, and because He said it, and it came to pass, it gave credence to every other Word Jesus spoke, whether it has come to pass or it is yet to.
Six Implications of The Resurrection:
1. The resurrection of Jesus was a validation that He was truly The Son of God.
(Romans 1:2-4)
2. The resurrection gave credibility to all other Words Jesus had spoken.
(Matthew 17:5-9)
3. The resurrection is the central theme of the gospel of salvation, and the major anchor of the Christian faith.
(1 Corinthians 15:17, John 11:25-26)
4. The resurrection established and sealed the victory of Christ over sin, satan, death and the grave.
(Revelation 1:18)
5. The resurrection allows anyone today, who believes in Jesus Christ, to be a partaker of His life and His victory.
(John 3:16, Ephesians 1:3, 2:1-10)
6. The resurrection gives every Believer in Christ Jesus, hope beyond death, and hope beyond the grave.
(1 Corinthians 15:12-22, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Philippians 1:21)
The profitable point of the Resurrection of Jesus is what it empowers Believers to be and do as a result of Jesus’ sacrifice.
The most important aspect of redemption is not just the victory that came with the resurrection, but who Jesus Christ won the victory for.
(Ephesians 1: 3-14)
Knowing that Jesus Christ resurrected is not enough, until you know what you can become, and what you can now do, as a result of His resurrection.
Our mandate is not complete if we only celebrate the resurrection. The greater task is to become validators of His resurrection, and extensions of His resurrection power.
Our heart-cry and prayer as Believers should be: “God, as You seek for men and women whom You will use to validate Your resurrection power, I am available”.
May the resurrection power of Jesus fall upon you like rain tonight.
Pray: Lord, give me a greater grace to be a witness.
The world is asking many questions that our faith-life is not answering.
We need validators of the resurrection power of Jesus. It is not about eating and celebrating; rather, it is that we obtain greater grace to be a witness.
There is a world out there in desperate need of the power of God.
Being a Witness to Jesus’ Resurrection demands carrying a consciousness of the resurrection power and victory of Jesus Christ. You must have a mindset that is consistent with victory.
Pray: In the name of Jesus, I contend for a change of mind; I contend for renewal; I contend for transformation!
If your heart looks like God, and your mind looks like satan, your destiny will look like satan.
Your destiny will be that of a failure and a loser if your mentality is anti-Christ.
Before you rise up and walk, you must have the mentality to rise up and walk.
You must have the mentality of victory to attract into your life, the components that make for that victory.
This is why declaring Scriptures is powerful. It is not only creative, it helps with solidifying your convictions of victory, and enforcing victory in your life.
Declare: I am not a liability to my family, community and society!
I am a blessing!
The grace, power and wisdom to be a blessing is upon me!
A loser’s mentality cannot produce a victor’s destiny!
You must guard your mentality the way women guard their jewelleries.
Do not allow others impose their lopsided mentalities onto you.
Errors, limitations and inferior mindsets can come with boldness, and yet you must disallow them from becoming your mentality.
Respect people, but do not give people access to your mindset, carelessly.
Don’t keep quiet about your life and destiny!
Speak The Word! Meditate upon the faithfulness of God, and find a reason to always thank Him, declaring His promises over your life!
You cannot become a victorious Believer, having the mindset of the devil. Reject satanic mindsets, and begin to work on having the mindset of Christ!
Using this Easter as an opportunity, make spiritual investments in your life: Over that financial situation, speak!
Over that marital situation, speak!
Declare that you are a blessing to your generation and to the world! Declare that you are blessed and highly favoured!
Declare: In the name of Jesus, I will only go higher and higher!
Everyone wishing my downfall will keep going down, for the rest of their lives!
We must trust God for confidence – believing that we can become anything God has called us to be.
In the name of Jesus, whatever your background could not afford you having, I decree and declare, you will not be poor nor will you beg for bread. That Victor’s-mentality is transferred to you, now, in the name of Jesus!
Things will not change until you believe they will change.
Government and policies can change but surprisingly, your life will still not change. It is your mentality, among other factors, that propels a change to your life.
Always have an exemption mentality!
There are people who are winning by righteousness and by living for God.
Do not believe that it cannot work for you using God’s own way!
Carry with you this mentality: “No matter the place, God is with and for me; I will not be without help, as I go about my Father’s business and His purpose for my life”.
Allow the mind of Christ to be in you!
No matter how long a mindset that is not of God has been in you, let it go!
What you call a champion, is not a person; rather it is a mentality that empowers the individual.
There is a mentality that powers dominion and any enviable destiny.
Pray: Any mentality that is anti-dominion, anti-kingdom, anti-destiny, let this mentality leave my mind, in Jesus name!
If your lifestyle does not change, then the resurrection power is yet to be at work in you.
The resurrection power must command a change in your lifestyle, bringing about a Word-compliant lifestyle.
Some lifestyles may not be necessarily sinful, but can be visionless, thereby producing a loser’s destiny.
If the only way you show that the resurrection power is at work in you is through the signs and wonders you display, then the resurrection power is not complete in your life.
Strangers upon interactions with you, should be able to guess without prophesying that you are a child of God.
Character precedes power! An anointed wicked person is not a blessing.
The world will be more changed by your character, than by your power!
I pray for you tonight, people will look at your life and their verdict, without flattery, will be that you’re a child of God, in the name of Jesus Christ.
It is preferred to be called a genuine child of God, than to be called an anointed man of God.
Character precedes power. The world will be changed by your display of character, not power.
I declare: By the power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead, people will look at your life, and their verdict on your life will be that you have met God!
Place your hand upon your chest and pray:
“Lord, work upon my lifestyle; work upon me and let there be a change of lifestyle: a kingdom culture of love, honour and respect, in the name of Jesus!”
You can access the resurrection power of Jesus Christ through The Holy Spirit, and allow it flow through your hands, whilst disallow it from your mind.
Your yieldedness is what determines the resurrection power of Jesus to flow through your mind and other channels.
The power does not just come for signs and wonders; it also contains within it, the limitless possibilities for the witness of Christ.
The resurrection power of Jesus should never be limited to the display of signs and wonders alone!
The world is not only looking for signs and wonders, it is also in need of global solutions, and it is time for the world to know that the church is a place where undeniable global solutions, ideas and solutions are proferred by The Spirit of God.
The Church should not just be the place for miracles, but also the place to show men and women whom God has changed, and people who will birth global solutions.
It is good for us to be men and women of signs and wonders. However, we must allow the resurrection power of Jesus to flow through the other channels of expression (such as our minds), raising Saviours, Innovators and Global Solution Providers.
God is looking for Nehemiahs, Josephs, Esthers and Elijahs. There must be a diversity of witnesses.
Your understanding and alignment is what directs the flow: first flowing through your mind, your words and your hands, for productivity, signs and wonders. The resurrection power of Jesus must flow through you like a river to the nations.
Our value in the Church is important, but we need to be of value to our world as Solution Providers!
The solutions our world needs must come by The Holy Spirit, making us valuable to our world.
We will not just show power alone, but the excellency of the kingdom, with the signs and wonders following.
In our world today, we need to experience creativity, innovation, global solutions, supernatural wisdom, a display of love, productivity and then signs, wonders and miracles.
“Happy Easter” is not just that Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead, “Happy Easter” means “I am available; my mind, hands and entire being are available”.
If The One Who gave His life for us looked beyond Himself, then we must look beyond ourselves, planting in us a consciousness to see Jesus glorified.
God is mindful of your life, and you can get more value from your life with a noble cause of living beyond yourself.
Knowing that because you are alive, someone else will find Jesus and purpose, is worth every sacrifice you can make.
Worth Pondering:
Do you think the missionary who leaves his or her spouse for the mission field, sometimes even dying there, did not have a purpose for their life?
Some return weak, lean, even having lost body parts, and yet they see it as a sacrifice.
The value of life is not what you gain from life, but how much of your life you spent for the sake of His Majesty.
Jesus’ grave is there, as a testament that He died for others.
It’s a terrible thing to celebrate Easter, without bringing one soul to Jesus.
When you want to see the secret behind the excelling of people, find out the depth of their passion for God. A true Easter Celebration that brings joy to the Father’s heart, must go beyond commemorating Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection.
It must reflect how far you are willing to go to prove your love for Him, starting with bringing others to Jesus, as a way of saying “Thank You” for His sacrifice.
Pray: Father empower me to bring souls to You through my life; Father empower me to bring glory to You, through my life.
Not everyone will be a politician. Not everyone will be a missionary. Not everyone will be called to the five-fold ministry.
However, everyone must be a witness. The business of a witness is to bring profit to the sacrifice of Jesus.
Pray: Father, empower me to bring You glory through my life, empower me to bring souls to You through my life, in Jesus name!
When your life becomes all about Jesus, then you will see the resurrection power of Jesus in your life.
You will not just give an intelligent discourse of the happenings on Calvary, but that people will see the results of the resurrection power of Jesus, at work in your life.
No matter what you teach a people, if you do not teach them how to die to self, living beyond themselves, then that is an incomplete truth.
It is nobler for death to work in us, so that life may work in others.
Pray: Lord, grant that from this Easter period, let the Body of Christ raise true witnesses, whose mentalities go beyond power, self and their daily survival.
Lord, raise men and women who love You beyond themselves, who will bring profit to your sacrifice by bringing souls and by revealing Jesus, rising as light and salt.
Pray: Lord, for all the families that have been hurt as a result of the senseless killings across Nigeria, we ask that You bring comfort to these families, in the name of Jesus!
Pray: Lord, bring judgement to the camps of the perpetrators of the killings and atrocities being committed across Nigeria. Judge them oh God! and bring their agenda to nought, in the name of Jesus!
They will never know peace, and the elements of creation will hunt them, in the name of Jesus!
For the next two minutes, bring before God your personal supplications for your life, family, situations and destiny.
Cry before The God of heaven, that all that is dead in your life comes alive, in this season of the commemoration of Christ’s Resurrection.
I sense in my spirit that this Easter Season is a bridge for certain people: from this moment, you are stepping into a new season in your lives –
A new season of the anointing!
A new chapter in your destiny, in the name of Jesus Christ!
As you step into this season, nations will glorify God because of you.
For someone, I sense in my spirit, that this Easter season is bringing an end to your wilderness season! Your season of testing, proving and trying has come to an end! And what follows after now is your season of appearing!
The things you did before that did not work; now because you are in a new season, you will do them and they will announce you! I release that grace upon you!
You will not necessarily do anything different, but because the season has changed, what didn’t work before, will now work, in the name of Jesus!
For someone, I call it your season of laughter, your season of restoration! God is wiping away your tears!
Those who have asked “what is God really doing with me?”, this season will be the answer, in the name of Jesus!
For someone, because of the season you are entering, God will honour you and you will tell the world that it pays to wait upon The Lord!
Let this be a spectacular Easter for you!
Beginning from Monday, it will be celebration of victory! Celebration of triumph! Celebration of glory! That because of the glory that will come upon you, you will not remember your day of pain, in the name of Jesus Christ! My God will wipe your tears away! For someone, my God in this season, will wipe your tears away!
For some of you, you will step into spectacular anointing, spectacular graces, for signs and wonders, miracles, stirring the prophetic, for visions, for extraordinary intelligence, for advancement, for wealth and influence, in the name of Jesus!
Turn to your neighbour and tell them “Happy Easter”, which means a glorious Easter!
I declare your week blessed. The blessings of the resurrection will begin to speak in your life; it will be evident this week. The blessings of joy will speak in your life. The blessings of peace will speak in your life. The blessings of prosperity will speak in your life. The blessings of advancement will speak in your life.
Because the grave could not hold Jesus, no power of darkness will hold you. Therefore I declare your liberty. I enforce your liberty. Shout “Amen!”.
I decree and declare, that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment is condemned.
Monday is blessed. Tuesday is blessed. Wednesday is blessed. Thursday is blessed. Friday is blessed. Saturday is blessed. Sunday is blessed.
Next week Sunday, you will return with testimonies. You will return ten times better. Doors will open for you. God will use you to be a witness. God will use you to win souls. God will use you to be a blessing.
Everything that brings tears and shame is far from you. Everything that brings joy and celebration becomes part of your life. I call you blessed. I declare you are blessed. I declare that you advance.
As I always pray, I declare it again: Start well. Continue well. Finish well, in the name of Jesus.
As you travel by air, you are blessed and protected. As you travel by road, you are blessed and protected. As you travel by sea, you are blessed and protected.
Evil will not come near your house. Evil-doers will not come near your house. Let me say it again: Evil will not come near your house. Evil doers will not come near your house.
Evil doers are not invited to yours. Destiny helpers are invited. Lifters are invited. Blessings are invited. Naysayers are not invited. Trouble is not invited. Oppression is not invited. Every good thing that brings joy, are invited.
I bless you in the name of Jesus. Go and prosper!. Let your prayer life remain on fire. Let your study of The Word remain on fire. Let your passion for Jesus Christ remain on fire.
Do well in your profession. Do well in your business. Do well in your home. May your children do well.
There will be no evil report this week, in Jesus name we pray. Shout a threefold “Amen”.
