Victorious By Choice (Programming Divine Possibilities) by Apostle Selman

Victorious By Choice (Programming Divine Possibilities) by Apostle Selman

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.” Isaiah 60:1-3 (KJV)

Lift your voice and proclaim that tonight, you receive light, understanding, and illumination, in the name of Jesus Christ!
I receive capacity to be empowered by light, tonight!

Tonight, I rebuke every scheme of hell aimed at dulling your sensitivity to your prophetic word. I curse that spirit now, in the name of Jesus Christ!
You shall experience and maximize the fullness of God’s blessed presence tonight, in the name of Jesus Christ!

Hunger matters in the presence of God; it is proof of spiritual health.
Let us guard and keep our hunger for God alive every time we step into His presence. A hungry heart is a healthy spirit.

For the Believer, your access to light and the pursuit of knowledge is a continuous journey; just like maintaining a healthy appetite.
You must guard and defend your spiritual appetite, resisting anything that seeks to diminish your hunger for God and your appetite for spiritual things.

PRAYER FOR THE NOVEMBER CONFERENCE
Thank God for the privilege to be part of something with generational impact.
Declare that God by His Spirit will move mightily as we’ve released the posters for the upcoming Koinonia Global Conference.
Pray that The Lord will open the eyes of Believers to understand that this is more than a church conference, but a conference of transgenerational impact.

Pray: Father, show me the way tonight, by Your Word. Show me the way out of misery, in the name of Jesus Christ!

Tonight’s teaching is a thought-provoking one, designed to show you how to program possibilities. It will challenge and provoke you to be uncomfortable with where you are, and force you to press for more.

15. “See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
16. In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
17. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
18. I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
19. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
20. That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”
Deuteronomy 30:15-20 (KJV)

Growth, advancement, victory, and success are fundamental parts of life. The major reason for joy, happiness, and fulfillment is growth, success, victory, triumph, and advancement.

We may not always admit it, but intrinsically, every one of us desires growth, achievement, and advancement.
Every encounter with growth, whether physical, material, financial, or spiritual; is a reason to rejoice, for it is one of the basis of our joy.

With respect of growth, there are three kinds of people on earth:

1. Those who make things happen – they understand the laws of life and they use it to their advantage.
2. Those who watch things happen – these are victims of circumstances and situations. They do not know that life happens based on cause and effect.
3. Those who talk about the things that has happened and are happening – they are mainly commentators. They talk about everything happening to people, whether good or bad.

Victory is a programming. Nobody truly becomes victorious in experience by luck, chance, or sentiment. The manifestation of victory is a function of a programming.
You have to be willing to take responsibility over your life in order to be victorious.

Every person on earth has been given a divine gift by God.
The power of God’s divine laws is palpable, and their impact is evident across every area of our lives.

God has given every person on earth a divine gift, and with it, many have built remarkable lives; yet, sadly, some have destroyed their lives using the very same gift.
The correct use of this gift can become your exit out of a life of misery, limitation, mediocrity, and pain, and the mismanagement of this gift can lead to a continuation of defeat.
This gift is the “POWER TO CHOOSE”.

Declare: As for me and my house, we will serve The Lord.

Your decisions, more than your conditions, ultimately determine the outcome of your life and destiny.
This means that even a person facing negative conditions, if they understand the power of a quality Word-compliant decision, and master the power of wise and purposeful decisions, can build an enviable and victorious destiny.

14. Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
15. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Joshua 24: 14-15 (KJV)

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 (KJV)
Beyond our conditions, our decision ultimately affects the outcome of our destiny.

Your decisions more than your conditions ultimately decide the outcome of your life.
Decision decides destiny.
Every decision by choice is connected to a consequence.

In God’s pre-ordination, He has designed for us a life of glory, beauty, and grace according to scriptures, but our manifesting this pre-ordained will of God is dependent not just in the will of God, but in our power to choose.

Decisions decide destiny. There are consequences attached to every decision we make in life.
The results or consequences of your actions can be determined through two lenses: the lens of experience or the lens of the Word of God.

Every decision in life is connected to a corresponding consequence, by default. Consequence means a corresponding outcome of a choice. While we are given the power to choose, we cannot choose the consequences of our decisions.
We can choose consequences from the Word, mentors, or experiences. The Bible, being the chiefest, is a rich capture of decisions and their consequences.

Most of the choices we make in life don’t produce immediate consequences, but make no mistake, every choice you make, whether good or bad have consequences.
Victory is by choice. Life is by choice. Failure is by choice. And a great destiny is also by choice.

Indeed, you do not have the privilege to make certain choices like the family you were born into, but from the moment you grow and have access to the Gospel of Christ, every decision that shapes your destiny becomes your choice.

Every decision carries a consequence, a corresponding outcome. God teaches us to make wise choices by allowing us to learn from the examples and experiences recorded in His Word.
The Scriptures reveal how choices shape outcomes. Whether you choose to live righteously or unrighteously, to walk in truth or in deceit, every decision will produce a result. The consequences may not be immediate, but they are inevitable.

Declare: Everything associated with pain, disgrace, carelessness over destiny, compromise, failure, and defeat ends with me! Every curse that causes people to end before their time ceases in my life!
Pray: In the name of Jesus Christ, I choose by the act of my will to be great, anointed, and to live a life of victory.

What Does It Mean to Choose?

1. To choose is to conclude by engaging your will on the path to follow after examining all the options or the variables available, and the consequences connected to other outcomes.
2. To choose is to use the power of your will to determine the next course of your day, your life, or your destiny.

The reason why many people make foolish choices is their inability to examine the consequences.
We mostly undermine the power of consequences; that’s why we are careless with choices.
People are careless with their choices because they undermine their decisions.

To choose is to exercise the power of your will to determine the next cause of your day, your life, or your destiny.
Many people underestimate the power of consequences, which is why they are careless with the choices they make.

Two Kinds of Decisions:
1. Major Decisions: These have a macro, destiny-defining effect on your life.
2. Minor Decisions: Often underestimated, minor decisions that compound over time and can eventually add up to define the outcome of your life.
No decision is neutral. Some consequences are immediate, while others unfold over time. Prolonged indecision is simply giving life permission to make choices for you. Every decision leads somewhere; choose wisely.

Decisions and choices are pathways. No decision is neutral. Every decision leads somewhere.
The decision to live responsibly and live in integrity will lead you somewhere, as well as the decision to be careless and live a life of mediocrity.

Prolonged indecision is giving life permission to choose for you.
If you allow life to choose for you, it will allow everything to grow within your garden, and most times, what grows will be weeds: things that are harmful to your life and destiny. Guard your decisions.

Procrastination is not respecting the time component in making decisions.
I pray for you: wherever you have folded your arms and allowed life to make harmful choices that have sabotaged you, may God’s mercy intervene and speak for you now, in the name of Jesus Christ!

The real vale of wisdom is not just in saying you are wise.
The real value of wisdom in the life of a person, is in its ability to help you make superior, destiny advancing decisions.

Nothing changes by default. Change is engineered by a new decision.
The real value of wisdom, is in its ability to help you make superior destiny advancing decisions.

The Definition Of Success And Failure With Respect To The Power Of Decisions:
• A success is one who has taken advantage of their power to choose, and in partnership with The Word of God, has programmed a life of victory and glory.
• A failure is one who has failed to use their power to choose correctly, in charting a course for their destiny.

“The Blessing” doesn’t only empower your destiny, it empowers you to make pro-destiny decisions. i.e The blessing of God enables you to make pro destiny decisions.

On the other hand, one of the major way curses work is to manipulate your power in making decisions and choices.

Ingratitude is a manifestation of the spirit of poverty. Generational curses are fueled by negative generational decisions. Enchantments and evil forces operate by manipulating our power to decide, while God’s blessings work by empowering us to make pro-destiny decisions.

Without decisions, there is no motion. The quality of your decisions determines the direction and speed of your progress. Every choice either propels you toward advancement or keeps you trapped in defeat.

Decisions are the tyres of destiny. Our destiny moves at the frequency of our decisions.
Declare: In the name of Jesus Christ, I choose a life of greatness, I choose a life of victory, I choose a life of excellence.

I pray for you: every spirit that has manipulated your power to choose and keeps drawing you backwards, I break and nullify that influence now, in the name of Jesus.
Declare: In the name of Jesus Christ, I choose a life of greatness, influence, and excellence!

What your tyre is to your vehicle is what your decision is to your destiny.
Decisions are the tyres of your destiny; they propel, steer, and determine the direction of your life.

The current outcome of your life is a function of your decisions. The question is: do you have the courage to admit where you’ve made poor decisions with your life?

Kingdom victory and results is a product and healthy combination of wisdom, faith, and power.
Victory and results is a balanced equation of wisdom, faith, and power.

No matter what you do, if you do not edit the basis of your making choices, you will still recycle pain, unfortunately.
If you do not edit how you make choices and fail to make quality, superior decisions, you will continue to recycle pain in your life.

It is not enough to desire to succeed, or to hate failure, you must make a decision.
Question: Have you chosen to succeed or do you just desire it?

Ways to Make Superior or Pro-Destiny Choices:

1. An awareness of The Word of God – Access to wisdom by The Word of God, and access to wisdom from Word-complaint materials.
(Jeremiah 29:11)
2. Obtain grace from God to actually make the decision. We can either make them by writing them down, and setting it as goals, but by all means, it should be done.
Any decision that must reveal the glory of God in our life, can’t be done in the flesh. It must happen by the grace of God.

If you don’t know the superior alternatives God has given you, you will dance to the tune of anything life throws at you.
If you don’t have knowledge, you can’t make superior decisions.

You cannot make destiny-defining decisions while wallowing in gossip, failure, or the company of those who sabotage progress.
Any decision made in the midst of small-minded or negative influences will only hinder your growth and stall your progress.

Being prayerful is a pro-destiny choice.
Given to learning is a pro-destiny choice.
Being compassionate is a pro-destiny choice.

Pro-Destiny Choices:
1. Being prayerful
2. Being hardworking
3. Being persistent
4. Learning continuously
5. Being disciplined
6. Being among those that love God.

Hating failure is different from a dogged decision to be a blessing and a success.
Ways to make superior or pro-destiny choices:
1. An awareness of the word of God; access to wisdom by the word. Exceeding great and precious promises.
Firstly, by the word and word-complaint materials.
“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” – 2 Peter 1:4
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”. – Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV).
“The path of the just is like a shining light that shines more and more unto the perfect day” – Proverbs 4:18
“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation”. – Revelations 5:9 (KJV)
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” – Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)
2. We must obtain grace from God to actually make the decisions – Any decision that will reveal the glory of God in your life must happen by the grace of God.

Your decisions are as superior as the materials that inform your mindset. You cannot bless beyond your mindset.
A person with a loser’s mindset cannot make a winner’s decision, and cannot produce a winner’s results.

You cannot operate beyond your mindset, even if you desire to. Your decisions are only as strong as the materials that inform your mind: the Word of God, godly teachings, and the wisdom you acquire. A person with a loser’s mentality cannot produce a winner’s decisions, because true, quality decisions must come from within.

I pray for you: May you never enter anything you hate because of your decisions.
As God empowers your decision-making through the revelation you receive tonight, may you begin to scale prophetic heights and walk in divine favor, in the name of Jesus Christ!

Nothing will change, until your decisions change.
If you do not understand the mysteries of the kingdom, you will not be able to make pro-destiny decisions.

Anything that destroys your relationship with Jesus, your family, or your health is not worth it.
The decision to stop living carelessly and instead be a good husband, a loving father, and a nurturing provider; these are pro-destiny decisions that align with God’s purpose for your life.

Mastery is key: nothing happens by mistake. Don’t just celebrate victories. Rather, let victories provoke you to search and discover how to consistently engineer more of them.

Many people know what to do when making the right decisions, but the actual steps to take, the engracing for it is absent.
The arm of flesh cannot make decisions that glorify God. When you face a decision you’re supposed to take, recognize that your own power is insufficient, and you must obtain the grace of God and empowerment.
The will to act may be present, but empowerment from God is essential.

I pray for you: To all who are seeking the empowerment of the doing grace of God to act, may it rest upon you now, in the name of Jesus Christ!

Right decisions sometimes come with temporary constraints. Without the grace component to persist, we cannot stay the course and see our decisions through to fulfillment.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray for you: may you receive the empowerment not just to make choices, but to know the right choices to make. I release that grace upon you now.
I decree and declare that the divine empowerment to make wise and impactful decisions is released on you now, in Jesus’ name.

Mastery is not by mistake. Consistency in result is engineered.
Consistency in result is not a mistake, it is programmed. We must learn to celebrate sacrifices, not human worship, but a healthy honour of people’s sacrifices.

The same Lord is rich unto ALL. When you see someone with a full bucket of water, it illustrates the power of choice: the rain fell, yet one person chose to get wet in order to fetch water, while another avoided the inconvenience of getting wet and missed out.

The reason few people succeed is their inability to learn, even with the myriad of mentors.
The price of integrity is built in the season of preparation.

Mastery is not by mistake. When you see consistent results, it is not luck; it has been intentionally engineered.
Success and victory come from making superior choices, applying wisdom, and aligning your actions with God’s principles.

The assignment of The Word of God and the ministry of The Holy Spirit is to help you make quality destiny-defining decisions.

Seven Destiny Defining Decisions:
1. The decision to be spiritually vibrant and to make exceptional spiritual progress (2 Peter 1:4)
Make up your mind to love God, serve Him, and make exceptional spiritual progress.
2. The decision to contend for a superior belief system – A belief system greater than your immediate environment and the background you came from.
Unashamedly divorce any belief system that does not bring glory to God.
3. The decision to discover and fulfill your assignment (Hebrews 10:7) – Your assignment is your contribution to the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
The easiest way to find this assignment is by service.
4. The decision to be healthy and physically strong – The choice to be healthy is not just a confession, it is also a responsibility.
5. The decision to be financially empowered – When wealth comes the Kingdom way, it becomes a defender of the speakings of God.
Finances is an enhancer of your destiny and Christian testimony.
6. The decision to build quality pro-destiny relationships – You are as fortunate as men and women raised by God to invest in your life.
Every time a relationship is higher than you, you maintain the relationship by sowing the seed of honour and gratitude.
7. The decision to be and remain a blessing (Genesis 12:3) – Everything you receive from God must not be for the glorification of self, but for the glorification of The Christ, and the betterment of the society.

Loving Jesus comes with an implication and willingness to die to self.
You need to make up your mind to know God, love and serve Him for the rest of your life.

You can change your environment and your outfit, but if your mindset doesn’t change, you will produce the same results and you will remain mediocre.
A loser’s belief system cannot make a winner. Unashamedly divorce any belief system in your life that does not bring glory to God.

Our assignment is our advancement to the Kingdom of God. We must answer the question “WHY”.
The easiest way to find this assignment is by service. The easiest way to evolve into your call is to serve in the house of God.

When God begins to bless you, the first thing to change is to upgrade the quality of the water you drink. Make a conscious decision to prioritize your health and be physically strong.

For every 10 years of our lives, the dynamics of taking care of ourselves change. Every decade of your life demands a new level of intentional care for your body.
You don’t just declare, “I refuse to die.” You start by removing death from your pot, choosing what you eat and drink wisely.
Remember: laziness can kill, and so can overworking. So, take your health seriously. It is part of stewardship over the blessing of God.

“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Genesis 12:3 (KJV)
When wealth comes the Kingdom way, it’s a defender of your convictions.
Financial empowerment is an enhancer of integrity. If you remain financially incapacitated indefinitely, you will steal, and tell lies.

If in all your pursuits in life, everything you seek is only for self-glorification, your impact will be limited.
Someone should be getting blessed because of you. Someone’s life should be better because you exist. Make a definite decision to be a blessing to others.
We are fortunate as the men and woman who have entered into divine partnerships with us, investing their time, influence, and credibility in our lives.

The best time to start was yesterday; the next best time is now. Let’s convert the pain and regrets into fuel for making the right decisions today that will determine our tomorrow.

Cry out to God for mercy wherever wrong decisions have been made. Take a moment to reevaluate your life and ask The Lord to show you His mercy and give you a fresh start.

Verbalize your decisions by mentioning the things that you choose and want to see in your life.
Declare: I choose life, I choose success, I obtain grace to go back to prayer, fasting, diligence, responsibility, honour, and a journey to spiritual advancement.

Pray: Father, I obtain the grace to begin to make pro-destiny decisions.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare: This will be your week of testimonies! I speak victory over your life; victory by pro-destiny decisions, in the name of Jesus. Receive the empowerment to make choices that will scale you to enviable heights. Receive that grace now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

This week, I decree pleasant surprises: Surprises in your job. Surprises over your destiny. May the right people find you this week, and may you find the right people, in Jesus Christ’s name. I schedule strategic connections and relationships!

I pray for your spiritual life, let it be set on fire this week! May your passion for prayer come alive. May your hunger for the Word of God be rekindled. I decree heightened spiritual sensitivity and understanding! You will not be dull in perception. The wisdom of God will rest upon you, and your results will speak in Jesus Christ’s name!

I speak over your finances: May God help you! May God raise helpers for you this week. May He make your work easy and fruitful. Every goal that you set, whether personal or corporate, receive the grace to achieve and surpass it this week, in Jesus Christ name!

I declare: You will enjoy divine health this week. You will not die. You and your household are protected by the mighty hand of God. Your children, your spouse, your family, and your business are divinely protected. Every evil expectation concerning you is frustrated, in the name of Jesus Christ.

I bless your journeys this week; you are blessed in your going out and in your coming in. I call you Beulah and Hephzibah! Honor or favor will never depart from your life. It is well with you now and always, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Shout “AMEN!” three times with faith!

Are you yet to heed the call of Jesus? Tonight, He is reaching out to you once again, ready to show you a path that leads to life and eternal glory.
Take this bold step of faith and begin the journey of salvation by saying “yes” to Jesus Christ. With faith in your heart, declare this prayer of salvation to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

If you’ve made the decision to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior tonight, we celebrate you, and Heaven rejoices with you! We would love to hear from you and walk alongside you on your new Christian journey.
