Pray: Lord, deliver me from every orchestration of darkness, every calamity and every ambush of the enemy over my life and destiny, in the name of Jesus Christ.

The mission of addressing the subject of deliverance, especially as it concerns the believer in Christ, is rooted in the spiritual orientation that we are fighting from the standpoint of a finished reality in Christ.
Deliverance is a theological description of the entire process that leads a believer into the experience of liberty, freedom and victory – victory over Satan, over demonic forces and over every limiting condition. (John 8:36)
It is not just an event but a process that brings a believer into the full manifestation of the victory already secured in Christ.
Language remains the primary vehicle for understanding; however, even the most unifying words can be interpreted differently, depending on one’s level of understanding. This is especially true when it comes to the concept of deliverance in the lives of many.
For the believer in Christ, the concept of warfare and deliverance is the experiential outworking of the victory in Christ.
Scriptures That Reveal God’s Desire for Us to Walk in Victory:
1. “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” John 8:36 (KJV)
2. “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.” Colossians 1:13 (KJV)
3. “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 54:17 (KJV)
4. “And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:18 (KJV)
The greatest expression of satan’s influence over a person is not in bringing calamity or tragedy upon them, but in having found a way to hijack the spirit and belief system of the person.
The real power of Satan in the life of someone is his ability to hijack belief systems. Once this happens, the individual becomes vulnerable to anything. The implication is that Satan will cause you to think, act and behave in ways that allow demonic spirits to gain partnership in attacking you.
In addition to casting out spirits, the real warfare is against corrupted thought patterns.
Three principal gateways that allow access to demonic activity in the life of a believer:
1. Ignorance: Ignorance creates a doorway for Satan to gain access, even in the life of a believer in Christ.
2. Disobedience: When a believer walks in disobedience, it opens doors to oppression.
3. Covenants: Covenants are powerful because they carry generational implications and can sustain patterns beyond an individual.
Most believers do not know that there is a labor and participatory dimension to manifesting our liberty in Christ; this is the essence of spiritual warfare.
“Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.” Matthew 12:44 (KJV)
Satan’s influence is when he gains access to the belief system and spirit of a person. The real warfare is the warfare against belief systems.
A stronghold is a faulty belief system that has fortified an individual to think in a certain way. At this stage, the individual is on a self-destructive path. Poverty and other negative circumstances can reflect belief systems that have partnered with demonic influence.
When your belief system agrees with the Word of God, you will have the boldness to declare the Word of God and see its manifestation in your life.
On the contrary, if your belief system does not agree with the Word of God, your life will become a plethora of negativities, your being a believer notwithstanding.
Your belief system is how you come into partnership with God to make real the realities of the things that have been obtained through the finished work of Christ.
However, it can also become a means of partnering with satan to sustain negative patterns in your life.
A stronghold is a faulty belief system that has been fortified by the presence of demonic spirits to keep the individual perpetually thinking and making decisions through that distorted lens.
Faith is a belief system that brings you into partnership with The Spirit of God for your victory.
In the same way, wrong belief systems can also align you with negative spiritual influences.
Satan is not powerless by default, but he can be made powerless in the life of the believer who understands that his or her victory has already been purchased in Christ Jesus.
Even though the devil has been defeated, the mindset of a believer can make him seem powerful.
If your understanding is limited to knowing that Satan is an adversary and that demons exist, without the revelation that they have already been defeated in Christ, then your knowledge remains incomplete and cannot produce victory.
“Reckon,” from the Greek root word “logizomai,” which means to consider, account, or regard something as true and act upon it as established reality.
The believer must understand that Jesus Christ did not merely pacify Satan; He defeated him, and that must shape our approach to spiritual warfare and walking in total victory.
Declare: I am more than a conqueror!
Satan is a master of the sense realm and what he does when the faith of the believer begins to grow is to shift your attention away from the Word and keep it on your condition, with the sole aim of making you disbelieve God.
Every time the consciousness of defeat comes, the believer must remember the cross and the victory of Christ Jesus.
Three Vital Truths Every Believer Must Know:
1. You must know that Satan is an adversary and that he operates through an organized system to steal, kill, and destroy. If left unhindered, he will seek to fulfill that mission in the life of the believer
(John 10:10; 2 Corinthians 2:11).
2. You must know and believe that Satan and all demonic forces have been defeated in Christ, and that Jesus Christ purchased that victory for us
(Colossians 2:15; Ephesians 1:19–22).
3. You must know and understand the appropriation systems that enable you to manifest and experience the victory already wrought in Christ
(Romans 10:17; Matthew 17:5).
The believer must understand that the concept of warfare is not about engaging in physical combat with demonic forces. The struggle is not about physical contention; rather, it is about establishing what has already been done.
“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24 (KJV)
Faith is the active engagement of the principles connected to the manifestation of the realities of the finished work in Christ.
“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” Matthew 7:11 (KJV)
The believer’s consciousness of the victory wrought in Christ, and an accurate understanding of our identity as His Bride, is essential for translating these realities into experience.
Skeletal Systems to Wealth and Abundance:
1. Productivity – This is most easily developed through formal education or informal apprenticeship.
2. Relationships
3. Investments
One of the appropriation systems that enables the believer to manifest and experience the victory already wrought in Christ is warfare through the mystery of worship.
Through worship, the glory of God is revealed and it manifests in two primary ways:
1. Encounters
• Encounters make us become like Christ in experience.
• Encounters supply the riches of His glory (wisdom, favor, skill).
• Encounters help us know God more, which is key for intimacy.
2. Interventions
• Interventions remove constraints that keep us bound.
• They bring us into the experience of dominion and liberty.
The evidence that a believer has engaged the right appropriation systems is the victory and complete dominion the believer will experience in every area of his or her life.
In the name of Jesus, let the Word of God spoken in the Bible and the word spoken over your life both come to pass.
Belief systems are like a magnet; we attract people, situations and conditions that align with our belief systems.
Appropriation Systems Available to the Believer:
1. Worship
2. Prayer
3. Corporate fellowship
4. Giving
5. The creative power of words (declaring God’s Word)
6. The prophetic
There is a mindset that produces disorder and disrespect. Being disrespectful is not just a character trait; it can be the result of a corrupted belief system reinforced by patterns of thinking.
Take, for instance, the spirit of anger. The spirit may leave, but the belief system that sustains anger can still remain and continue to produce destructive outcomes.
If you are trapped in that belief system, it will keep producing the same results. Belief systems are powerful; they are not superficial but deeply rooted. The issue is not just visible behavior, but the underlying system that sustains it.
You will keep attracting situations and circumstances that are consistent with your belief system. And that is what perpetuates destruction.
If we do not understand the creative power of words, we are downplaying the appropriation systems that make for our victory.
The prophetic does not reinforce disobedience; it is a system of acceleration to help us while we grow and learn the Word.
Lift your voice and your hands to heaven and thank God for the things you have heard and learned tonight.
Pray: Father, I receive mercy, and by grace, the impartation of an understanding heart, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Pray: Father, I decree and declare that every faulty belief system at work in my life that is partnering with satan towards my destruction, by the power of The Holy Ghost, I take authority right now over every faulty belief system, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Pray: Father, I decree and declare a restoration of joy, time, resources, relationships, graces and opportunities now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Pray: Father, every loophole in my life – prayerlessness and neglect of Your Word – which has empowered satan and demonic spirits to take advantage of my life, by mercy let these loopholes be covered, in Jesus’ name.
A deeper passion for the Word, for God, and for Kingdom activities, in the name of Jesus!
Take a moment and cry out to God, declaring that everything that represents shame and reproach in your life be taken away right now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Pray: Father, advance me, let me make progress, let me leap over walls, and run through troops, in the name of Jesus Christ.
