Yes and Amen (Proving The Integrity Of The Word) by Apostle Selman

Yes and Amen (Proving The Integrity Of The Word) by Apostle Selman

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” — Psalm 119:105 (KJV)

The Word of God is coming with power and precision. Receive it with faith and meekness, knowing that one encounter with His Word can bring direction, transformation, restoration, and lasting victory.

Lift your hands, O ye people, and shout unto God with a sound of triumph.
Give The Lord praise and glory, as we celebrate His name.

“Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.” Psalms 107:2 (KJV)

Lift your voice and make declarations of faith concerning your health, your finances, and your destiny.
Declare: I am blessed!
I am the head and not the tail!
I make progress!
I do much for the Kingdom!
I go from glory to glory, and increase in wisdom!

“And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.” Genesis 21: 1 (KJV)

God visits as He has said, and He does as He has spoken. He has the ability to bring His words to pass.
Lift your voice again and make declarations of faith over your life.
Declare “YES” to everything God has spoken regarding you; that’s your contribution to those prophetic words.

Father, we thank You for Your Word, and we say “Amen” to Your Word over our lives.
We thank You for the power of Your Word, and we declare that Your Word shall build faith in our lives even tonight, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Father, as we humble ourselves to receive from You tonight, we ask that Your Word will edify us.
We say “Amen” to Your Word, and we decree and declare that the entrance of Your Word will bring illumination to us, in the name of Jesus Christ.

SCRIPTURES AFFIRMING YOUR PROMISES
“For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are [all answered] ‘Yes.’ So through Him we say our ‘Amen’ to the glory of God.” – 2 Corinthians 1:20 (AMP)

“For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding ‘Yes!’ And through Christ, our ‘Amen’ (which means ‘Yes’) ascends to God for his glory.” – 2 Corinthians 1:20 (NLT)

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” – 2 Peter 3:9 (KJV)

It is God’s desire for us that the reality of His Word be made manifest in our lives, so that we may derive maximum fulfillment from The Word.

The Bible as revealed to us, is an inspired resource that contains the revelation of God to man (humans), and the revelation of God’s program through the ages.

There is a difference between The Word of God and Scripture.
Everything written in the Bible was inspired by The Holy Spirit, but not everything in the Bible represents the spoken word of God.

The infallibility of scripture, as an inspired resource that helps mankind understand God and His program; “Infallible” means accuracy and potency.
The Bible as revealed in Scripture is an inspired resource that contains the revelation of God to mankind, and the revelation of God’s program through the ages. From the root word “Biblios”, or “graphē”, which both mean an inspired text.
The difference between The Scriptures and The Word of God is that the Bible is a compendium of the thoughts of God, but not everything in the Bible is considered The Word of God.

The Infallibility of God’s Word
When we say the Bible is reliable/trustworthy/potent, we mean:
– The Word of God is not infallible because of its historic accuracy.
– The Word of God is not infallible because of its archaeological accuracy.
– The Word of God is not infallible because of its intellectual accuracy.
– The Word of God is not infallible because of its linguistic accuracy.
The Word of God is infallible in its ability to accurately reveal God, in its ability to reveal Jesus Christ, in its ability to reveal man’s sinful condition, alongside God’s plan for salvation, in its ability to reveal the new found status of the Believer in Christ, and in its ability to reveal the destiny of those who are in Christ Jesus.

Three Layers To Studying Scripture
– Historic/archaeological layer
– Doctrinal/contextual Layer: From the Greek root word “Didaskalia”. Which means that which empowers a student to assume the level of mastery, through knowledge.
– Prophetic Layer: Your ability to draw wisdom by The Spirit. This light which emanates in this layer is usually bespoke to your experience, and should not be taught as doctrine.

When the Bible calls people prophets it is not in their ability to foretell, rather, it is because of their ability to trap realities that reveal the program of God

What Is The Word of God?
The Word of God is Jesus Christ Himself. (John 1: 1-4, Colossians 1: 15-16)
The Word of God is a compendium of the thoughts of God; an aggregate of the thoughts of God about all things.
The Word of God refers to the direct speakings of God that are captured beyond the scope of the Bible.

THE WORD OF GOD FURTHER EXPLAINED
Foundationally, The Word of God refers to Jesus, Who is the Logos of God.

God’s Word is an aggregate of God’s idea about all things, all matters – the thoughts of God. It comes from the word “Logos”: the thoughts of God. God’s perspective on every and all matter is called The Word of God.

All portions of Scripture profit, but not all portions of Scripture give life. The life-giving portion of The Scriptures is what we call The Word of God; that which is consistent with the thoughts of God, and the modus operandi of the Kingdom.

The second definition of The Word of God: the thoughts of God, capable of ministering life, capable of ministering wisdom, capable of quickening.

The Word of God also refers to the direct speakings of God. The direct speakings of God that are captured beyond the scope of the Bible. The reason is because God has not stopped speaking. The Holy Ghost still speaks to people, and that which is communicated is still The Word of God. It is called the Rhema of God.

The Word of God is largely contained in the Bible, but it is not limited to the Bible, because a long time before the Bible was put together, The Word of God was already there.

When we open and read The Scriptures, the only text we can categorically call The Word of God, is statement written, that communicates the thoughts, intentions and actions of God.

From a theological standpoint, there are four expressions of The Word of God:
1. Scripture: This comes from the Greek word “Graphe” and it means an inspired text.
2. The Logos of God: This is in two-fold, the Logos of God as a living person, and then, as the thoughts of God.
3. Rhema: This talks about The revealed Word that is bespoke, towards bringing solutions to your unique need.
4. The sent Word: This is the dimension of God’s Word that brings about supernatural manifestations.

God’s power hides in His light. When you find His light, you see His power.
Repentance means aligning yourself with the standard.

How To Be Built By The Word of God:
Many Believers know how to receive The Word of God, but they do not know how to be built by The Word of God:
1. By an intentional and consistent study of Scripture.
(2 Timothy 3: 15-17, 2 Timothy 2: 15)
2. By listening to Scripture as a habit.
(Luke 11: 28, Romans 10: 17)

Declare: I receive grace to be intentional and consistent with the study and the reading of The Scriptures.

‘Study’ means to give attention, investigate, and consult other materials to give answers to your inquiry.
This study is one of the reasons why we honor men and women of God; because it is a laborious study to stay with The Scriptures, until you find light.

You cannot win in this Kingdom when you’re silent.
Your advantage in life, is in your speakings.

Understand that grace can be wasted. So, when God sends grace, it is a Believer’s duty appreciate God for it and proceed to maximise it.
So, when you see someone doing exploits, it is God’s grace maximized.

What Does It Take To Make The Promises of God Manifest In Your Life?
1. You must know what the promises are, and the fact that they are available for you in Christ.
(Ephesians 1: 3)
2. You must have the knowledge of the participatory conditions, that are connected to manifesting God’s promises.
(Leviticus 9: 6)
3. You must engage The Word in prayer.
(Mark 11: 24)

Declare: In the name of Jesus Christ, there are divine provisions, and supernatural resources, available for me, in Christ Jesus.

Pray about any and everything.
There is no issue of concern, that you cannot pray to God about.

Obedience to God’s Word and His instructions, is the only way to commit God’s integrity, to manifest His power in your life.

There is no amount of sacrifice that will substitute for obedience. Most Believers would rather do any other spiritual exercise, than obedience

I pray for you: May the grace for delightsome obedience rest upon you now, in the name of Jesus Christ!
I also pray for the grace to obey God on time, in the name of Jesus Christ!

Lift up your voice with a wave of hand, and say “Thank You, Jesus”, for everything He has done for you, and the things He has done in your life.

Sometimes when it looks like God is delaying, He is clearing away what will make that blessing a waste.
When God is silent, learn offer thanksgiving, because it means He has gone ahead of you, to clear out the giants from along the path.

Every time you rush ahead of God, you will birth and materialize the very thing that will fight your blessing.
Just like in the actions of Sarah as Hagar, impatience always gives birth to an “Ishmael” – what was not promised.

Declare: I receive grace to be patient!

Wait! Your “Isaac” will still come!

What Does “Yes and Amen” Mean According To 2 Corinthians 1: 20?
1. It means that all God’s promises are already finished in Christ Jesus.
2. It means that the power of God is already available to manifest every Word, that God has been spoken.

The power of God always and only goes in the direction of His will revealed in His word.
The assignment of The power of God is to bring to pass the speaking of God, to be made manifest in the life of the Believer.

Declare: The power for my rising, the power for my prospering, the power for my stability, the power for my advancement, and the power for my flourishing are available in Christ, through His Holy Spirit.

You must not doubt a person who is aware they have power from God.
Their manifestation will in-time, surprise you.

I decree and declare that every word spoken over you, and that which has been quickened from the Scriptures, I come as a midwife and I declare that anything delaying the manifestation of that Word, it comes to an end now! Again, it comes to an end now!
We bring an end to delay now! We bring reproach to an end now! You will move forward in the name of Jesus! You will not go down in the name of Jesus!

I speak The Word over your life: Go upward and forward, in the name of Jesus! Koinonia Go forward!
I place grace on your feet; go forward! I place grace on your hands; go forward! I place grace on your feet go forward!
In business, advance! In ministry, advance! You will not fall, in the name of Jesus! I place grace upon your feet, you will not fall in the name of Jesus!

By the power of The Holy Spirit, welcome to a new season: A season of laughter! Welcome to a season of lifting; a season of celebration!
The news that will make even your enemies celebrate with you, may God bring it in a hurry!
I place a mark of honor upon your life, people will treat you honorably! Favour works in your life! The anointing speaks evidently in your life!

Nothing dies in your life! I speak over your children: They are the taught of The Lord, and great is their peace!
You will call on one man, and nations will answer you! You will call on one man and institutions will answer you; they will call you “Beulah”, you are the planting of The Lord!
Every door that has been closed over your life and family, I send a prophetic word: “Ephphatha!”. Doors of Business: Ephphatha!

Doors of ministry, open! Doors of children, open! Doors of marriages, open! Doors of finances, by wisdom and through strategic relationships, open!
Step into a level of fire! Step into a level of fire: Spiritual fire, prayer fire, Word-study fire! In Jesus name I declare. Amen!
